I loved it, full stop
I really don't understand all the low ratings. I loved this show. I'm still having an emotional reaction 2 weeks after finishing it. I thought the acting was amazing. The soundtrack was masterfully used. There is one song from ep. 9 that I can't even listen to all the way through because I get too overwhelmed. The story/plot wobbled a bit in ep. 10-11, but it was significantly less riddled with holes than KinnPorsche which I also loved. I obviously wish that Jojo had tightened up the plot but we so often have to overlook plot points in BL's and this wasn't the most difficult to ignore. It really didn't matter to me because the actual story, the one between Palm and Neugdiao was so, so good. Contrary to many reviewers, I understood their motivations throughout and their decisions made total sense to me. If you view it through the lens of people who have experienced trauma you start to see why they do what they do. Pond and Phuwin really nailed these characters, especially Pond. His portrayal of Palm was filled with subtleties and he just opened the character bit by bit. It was just great acting.This is a 10 for me. After Bad Buddy, it might be may favorite series yet and Pond is absolutely reigning as my king.

I actually really liked it
I like ForceBook and I love Force, but I was really really underwhelmed by Enchante. The actors did their best, but either the writing was weak or they just butchered it in the editing room. Boss and a Babe, however, is a huge jump forward. It was really cute and fun. I loved the Gunn/Cher chemistry. It was a really great opposite attracts story. Also, Mike looked REALLY good in this. The last show I saw him in was Mama Gogo and he was not really cute at all, but give the boy a nice haircut and put him on a Ducati motorcycle in a leather jacket and he is suddenly full hunk material. I also want to give a shoutout to Aoi as the sassy office coworker. Her facial expressions alone were worth the price of the ticket.Was this review helpful to you?
Honestly, Force and Book deserve better
I worry about Force and Book's careers if they don't get better scripts than this. It had SO much potential, it seems like it was either written poorly or it was butchered in the editing room. The hidden identity story went on wayyyyy too long and was boring. Theo's family stuff didn't come up until the end and was much more interesting and had way more potential. The side characters get story backgrounds and story resolutions, but they skipped the actual stories.That said, Force and Book are stellar together, they carried this mess on their own two backs. Without their charm and chemistry it would have utterly tanked. I will say that I really liked the theme song though.

Meh...
It's a sweet, classic BL. Unfortunately in a post Bad Buddy world, that formula needs more than New looking adorable in a business suit to make it compelling. He does however looking AMAZING in a suit. Sing actually looks fantastic as well. Jan is crazy and hilarious as always, Tay is fine. Junior is totally wasted as Jinta, same as Mark as Min. They aren't given nearly enough time to establish anything believable and no one would be charmed by Jinta's being a complete spaz. The only honest and authentically touching moment is when he's comforting Min.I was just a bored. I finished it anyway, but I'm not going to be going back and rewatching anything. I hate to say it, but I think its time for break up the TayNew ship.
