I know it's kind of unbelievable to put every rating as a 10, but I really believe this is my new favorite show of all time. Being just a little kid in 1997, it shouldn't have easy for me to relate to the setting. Considering the enormous fanbase Reply 1997 accumulated, both young and old, I have to say there's something right going on behind the scenes. The dialogue was snappy and perfect. Every little word, cultural reference, and even the sheep sound effects chimed so nicely in with what shows today are missing. The raw, uncensored teenage energy without the fluff leaves us more relatable humor. Every actor was perfect. You'd think with so many idols and newbie actors, it'd be a mess. ENTIRELY not the case. These people took the amazing script and turned it up 10 more notches. It's no wonder that each of their popularities skyrocketed because of this show. I am very much looking forward to what the actors of our six misfits get up to in the future. Speaking of the future, it seems Reply 1997 has a sequel in the making. That's something to look forward to as well :) Overall: I've always loved teen dramas, but I'd been slipping away because they all seem to be cut from the same cookie cutter recently. I love that Reply 1997 does use excessive cliches, but mixed in with such lovable characters, you actually appreciate rather than scorn them. I'm so sad that it ended, but this was definitely the most FULFILLING ending of any drama in recent years. Every plotline gets a heartwarming conclusion. Anyone, kdrama fan or not, should watch this show
