It's like when i dropped an egg package in my kitchen the other day. A mess

At first glance Oh My Ladylord is a normal "realistic" and down to earth Rom/com, but as you watch you'll soon find out it features a lot more than that. Sci-Fi, Over the top love triangle, birth secrets, push and pull and quite simply put not likeable lead characters (due to traits, not actors), and much much more.

The biggest problem Oh My Ladylord has is exactly this, it's story. It has all these plot points that make a very messy script. It's like the drama is having an identity crisis and isn't sure what it wants to be. Instead, whilst watching this you could break it down into arcs that you identify as major plot points and find dramas that does that specific plot but a lot better.

I rate this drama a 5.5/10 as it lands within "It's okay", but it's closer to not liking it than liking it. I have no complaint in particular towards any other part than the story, the Actors all played their roles very well and make this show watchable as it is although the OST wasn't something mind-blowing or something that I would be adding to my playlist it still is very satisfying in the scenes where applicable.

There is so much I could comment on where there are plot holes or things that don't make sense, but I want to keep this spoiler free, now I do believe if I had binged watched this a lot of the angst of waiting week by week for the next episode would obviously disappear and probably make the drama look a lot better as a whole. So with that said if you do decide to watch this drama I hope you enjoy it in a binge.

A short and sweet, movie like web drama

I watched the "Movie version" of this drama which is all 8 episodes in one video. This Drama pulled off the movie aspect greatly as other web dramas being watched in "movie mode" can usually feel off, as episodes are generally made to be its own entity and usually does not feature a lot of the whole overarching story.

-Story
The story itself is very simple but nothing too bad or too good when compared to other web dramas of this length. I think the ending was a bit too long which could have been cut shorter to make it a cleaner ending instead of the epilogue/filler moments they showed which would have made this drama leave a better impression/more memorable for me.
The 2nd FL also got a lot of focus towards the end, although I do feel for her and if this was a longer drama perhaps her story could be explored more, and she could have her own side story of finding a partner, but her part at the end didn't really fit into the story at the end

-Acting/Cast
The actors were very enjoyable to watch although the FL could feel a bit stiff at times

-Music
the OST was nothing noteworthy, it did its job, and it added to the feelings of the appropriate scenes.

-Rewatch Value
Definitely a drama to binge if you got 1-2 hours, but it doesn't leave a lasting impression to make me say it has any rewatch value.

I'm giving it a 6/10 as I think it was an ok drama with a full story although a bit bare-bones due to the limitations of its length.

The perfect blend for the unseasoned historical drama watcher

As a person that has problems with getting into and even then finishing historical dramas this was the first one I made it until the end. Although I did drop it after the first arc, but it kept popping in to my mind every now and then, and I rewatched the first part and finished it all about 2 months later.

This Drama has a lot of strong points. The story is well written for its theme with a great mix of comedy, seriousness, gore, action, court drama, and overall general pacing of the story is great. Although like a lot of people mentioned, and I agree that after the 1st arc it feels very different looking back at it, it still turns out great with the whole story in mind, and how they are even able to weave in the funny parts and making them into things making you feel sad due to reminiscence.

To back up this great story that just makes you feel all sorts of emotions they also cast a great cast where the actors/characters were distinct and not just "pretty boys" (no hate but in some historical dramas I can barely differentiate the characters unless they say their names in every scene, I'm Asian myself btw) The actors were able to show the characters emotions very well even with all the different types of pacings and different kinds of scenes in the story.

I might give this drama a rewatch in the future and I definitely believe there is value in it especially the 1st arc. Although the music wasn't anything outstanding to me it still does the job and is nothing that turns out to be a plus or minus for the drama.

In the end I will give this drama an 8/10 as I like it although not really loving it, to me it just missed a happier end for the 2nd female lead (But with this in mind I'm hoping for a season 2) So I will be recommending this drama to anyone that wants to give historical dramas a try.

A story filled with one too many clichés to make it a top tier web drama.

To start of, It's hard to expect a very intricate storyline when a web-drama features generally only around 1-2 hours of content even so this drama is able to keep the viewer interested due to the very good cast and of course the production crew. I would recommend this drama to anyone that is just looking for 1-2 hours of enjoyable drama time.

Be My Boyfriend is a short & enjoyable drama with a story that is practically copy & paste of all the cliché moments from any other rom/com school drama put into a web drama format. You will enjoy all the scenes between the leads as their relationships progress, although towards the end you might feel like some things doesn't make sense for this story and was just added because why not add another cliché (they could've cut it at episode 13 and added the latter half of episode 15 as the ending)

Even with the lacking story with the enjoyable cast that portray their characters very well, especially the goofy friends and the visuals of the female lead it makes it a very enjoyable watch. To add to this the music is very upbeat and is good at adding more emotion to the correct scenes.

I'm giving this drama an 8 as the overall watch was very enjoyable and easy to rewatch since its shorter, although a bit too many clichés the cast's connection makes up for a mediocre story (which can't be that in-depth anyways due to the length of web dramas)

Pretty good, overall nicely done.

This drama turned out pretty good. It wasn't really on my radar, but it kept popping up in my feeds, so I decided to give it a watch as the general premise sounded at least somewhat alluring.

Towards ep14 I was feeling like they should just wrap it up but the last 2 episodes did have some good moments.

My biggest problem with this drama was the 2nd FL, the character added barely anything to this drama. Through and through, I would class this as a drama with just one couple in mind. the 2nd FL has this whole backstory and persona built up making you feel bad about her and giving her a rich character but not actually using her for the story. You get somewhat of a 2nd lead syndrome but nothing serious like School 2015 *cough *cough. Either way any screen time she had just made me feel bad makes me want to go rewatch YAMG which keeps the main couple in focus at all times and brings 2nd FL/ML in only for short moments and doesn't develop their characters that much. Or Intense Love for that Celeb x "normal person" drama which you wish NJ could get.

The music was quite good and did bring out emotions from me so no problems with it. But when it comes to rewatch value as I stated above the interest just dwindled from ep14 and onwards. Usually rewatch dramas are the ones that keep me hooked to the end. But overall it was a enjoyable watch with a interesting story definitely worth checking out but it's not going to top any of my charts. 8/10

Closure for Love Alarm that can feel confusing but also right at the same time

Hi, this is my first review, so hopefully everything feels okay to read. I'm doing it spoiler free and posting a comment that contains my full thoughts with spoilers.

Love Alarm Season 1 was the first K/Asian Drama i ever watched so it has a special place to me.

-Story
Although the story can be a bit confusing at times (mainly ep6 for me), the overall plot gives closure on the open-ended ending of season 1 for all the characters whether it is in the way you hoped or not. One concept this Drama plays with a lot is keeping you on your toes guessing who she will end up with in the end.
I feel like for the best viewer experience you should be watching this straight after finishing season 1. Unlike most other people who have been waiting for 2 years pondering on what would actually happen.

-Acting/Cast
The actors for the 2 male leads were great and definitely felt like the same old as season 1. I did feel that the female lead (Kim So Hyun/Kim Jo Jo) did give a slight different vibe, but that could be atoned to her character maturing.
Other notables are Gul Mi and Duk Goo, especially Duk Goo his visuals have gone up a ton.
Overall acting was great and I think everyone portrayed their roles in a good way.

-Music
The OST from what I could tell was mostly reused and had 1 or 2 new songs in there if I'm not wrong.
I Loved the OST and even ended up on my Top Songs 2019 on Spotify.

-Cinematography
Nothing notable and not bad either. Just what you would expect from a good film crew but nothing standout.

-Would I recommend this Drama?
Yes if you watched Season 2 no matter what your expectations are, closure is good, rather this than the open end of Season 1. The story keeps you on your toes and makes you wonder who she will end up with which is a big part of this drama as people were pondering over this for 2 years already and kept on doing it for most of these 6 episodes. The Music is great, the actors did their part.

-Rewatch Value
Would I rewatch this? No, I always saw rewatch value in season 1, but now having also watched season 2 there is nothing inside me that tells me that I would want to rewatch this.

It gets a 7 /10 from me as I liked it, but it had a lot more room to perhaps at least be 8 episodes to give the side characters some more developed stories.
