This drama will make you smile while watching without you even realizing.

I know this drama isn't over yet, but I couldn't resist writing a review for this.

At first, I didn't expect much from this drama because the premise was so simple and I only wanted to watch it for Kamiki Ryunosuke but as I watch this every week, I realized that the 25 minutes I spend watching this is the most relaxing and happiest 25 minutes I experience every week. The relationship between Kanda Fuyuki and Fukumaru is the purest thing I have ever seen and it warms my heart completely to watch their scenes. This drama will also make you laugh and if you're a bit emotional like me, there are times it will make you tear up as well.

The story is as simple as it sounds but the way it's delivered is flawless. So far, 7 episodes have aired and I'm honestly so fond of every single one of them. Every episode is very charming and I find myself smiling while and after watching each episode. Kusakari Masao's acting as Kanda is so natural, I genuinely feel like a friend who just wants the best for him. It made me cry when I witnessed how much having Fukumaru by his side has changed his life. As a pet owner, I could relate to him to some extent. The supporting cast is a fun addition to the drama too and I enjoy every time anyone of them is on screen.

As for the cat puppet, I know there are some who are hesitating because of it but I swear once you start watching, you won't be bothered by it AT ALL. Plus, Kamiki voicing the cat is quite possibly the best thing ever to happen in this drama. You'll fall in love with cat immediately because of how adorable the voice acting is. As a fan of Kamiki, I'm beyond happy he took up this role because it having him voice Fukumaru just feels SO right.

Overall, this drama is DEFINITELY worth the watch. No boring moment, only happy and heartwarming times. The story, the cast, and the music -- it all just fit perfectly together. Personally, watching this brightens up my day instantly and makes me forget about my worries even just for a while. I did not hesitate to give it a 10.

A murder mystery in the midst of a zombie outbreak...

Before you read this review, please know that I am a huge fan of Kamiki Ryunosuke. If you think it’s starting to get a bit biased, you’re probably right.

Where do I even begin? This movie was truly a ride. I’ve always found murder mysteries to be interesting but never did I imagine one in the middle of a zombie outbreak! That alone was enough to make me feel excited for this movie. After watching it, I was not disappointed. The balance in the movie was nice because it wasn’t just all fun and exciting, it was also surprising and tragic. There’s a certain scene I can’t get over and it took me a while to convince myself that it really happened.

The cast was incredible. Kamiki never disappoints. His character wasn’t out-there or anything but the subtlety in his acting was so good. He’s always been amazing at that. Not only that, he was also funny at just the right times. I’m glad he took on this role. It’s quite a simple role and yet I could not imagine anyone else playing Hamura. He added a charm to this character that made me want to protect him at all costs. Hamabe Minami was a refreshing addition to this cast. Her character didn’t really have that much emotions, but she was still a joy to watch! She was so cute too. I loved watching her act. The dynamic and chemistry between her and Kamiki was really fun and wonderful. I wouldn’t mind seeing them in another project together actually. Nakamura Tomoya was also good. Honestly, I’ve never seen him before this movie but I liked him in this. He was great but.... you know. Anyway! The supporting cast has some well known names already so it was interesting to see them all act together. Personally, I don’t think anyone fell flat when it comes to their acting. In conclusion, this cast was a treat.

If you’re looking for something fun to watch, I definitely recommend this! It’s thrilling, funny, and engaging. There is a heavy theme in it but still overall enjoyable. People have mixed reactions about the ending and tbh, even I was a bit “Wtf?” when I watched it but I still liked it nevertheless. Perhaps a part 2 would be nice? Lol kidding... unless? Haha. I wouldn’t mind if I were to be honest. But at the same time I have no idea where to go from that ending.

So yeah, if you’re skeptical about watching this movie, I say go for it! It’s fun. Who doesn’t like fun?

What an unexpectedly fun movie this was!

Keep in mind that this might not be everyone's cup of tea and I also might be biased because Kamiki Ryunosuke is my favorite but I really was genuinely surprised about how much I loved this! It's fun, quirky, and just an absolute delight. I've seen my share of weird Japanese movies, so nothing about this was new to me. Just get into the movie and don't think about anything else, I assure you you will enjoy this movie a lot.

The acting and the music were so great. Nagase Tomoya and Kamiki Ryunosuke were hilarious and the way they brought their characters to life is outstanding. The supporting cast was commendable too. I couldn't get their song "Too young to die♪" out of my head for a few days after watching it. It was surprisingly really catchy!

Sometimes I still catch myself rewatching some scenes just for a laugh. Haha. I actually don't mind rewatching the whole movie.
