Still the Best Variety Show Out There

As much as I hate to admit it ..... S3 under PD Yu Ho-jin and PD Yoo Il-yong ( PD Na trained them well!!!!) had the BEST Concepts themes and Games .....

S4 under PD Bang was basically her canoodling members BUT with the current PD Lee Jeong-gyu ( who also worked previously in S1 ) is slowly bringing back the original mechanics of why this was so successfull.....

Still my FAVORITE variety show amongst all!!! ????

ps. The Kim Joo Hyuk Special made me an ABSOLUTE wreak !!! He is my favorite member and forever will be .... ?you can tell KBS put a lot of effort to promote him by giving him a lot of "airtime" compared to some others... you can tell his was KBS's Bias but alas some actors were made to do variety shows.... he wasn't one of them. Shallowing his pride for 2 years even though he is the eldest ( you can tell in many episodes the honorific systems runs deep in him by the actions of some of younger members bowing to him ... JJY is just a douchbag so I wont even go there) BUT kudos to him for staying an extra year for the sake of the remaining members... Such a Champ!!!!! ?

pss. I FF whatever scenes with Jung Joon-young ( a convicted sex offender) interacting with females or giving sly remarks.. the episodes where the members went to visit his family was VERY painful to watch ... hence I FF till the very end .. I feel so sorry for the parents and family

psss. What I cant understand also is WHY KBS world still has episodes of JJY on youtube when he is BANNED from the network for being a convicted sex offender

Watch only if you think you can handle the "ending"

Aint gonna lie .... i totally HATED how it end ( escaping reality by COMMITING SUICiDE?) .... much less explain what was really going on in the first place..... is it the mind ? is it reality ? which is it ...... if its time travel stick to it .... don't mess with audience about ifs and what nots....

I would have given this a 10 if REALITICALLY speaking .... common sense would tell you THAT it SHOULD end the way its should. i mean what was he at the end ? fact or fiction ? was it even explained ????

dont get me started about THAT phone call!!!!!! oh and only in Kdrama land where you can have brain surgery and STILL have a full set of hair post surgery .... HILARIOUS !! =) gotta love Kdramas!!!!

Even a steller cast cant save this monstrosity

This show started out with an amazing premise up to episode 6 or 7 THEN everything just wnet downhill when I realise the whole show was just trying to solve the "red dress" lady mystery...
If I could get back the time I absolutely wasted on this show...... PLEASE TELL MW HOW ...... When 2 of my top listed actors CANNOT SAVE the monstrosity that is called " GHOST DETECTIVE"

I cannot recommend this show to anyone and would never watch it again. Even for Daniel Choi (I think even HE was sick of this show by the last episode if the look on his face was any indication!) as quoted by another reviewer .... please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS SHOW

Amongst the BEST Variety show out there

A lot has happened since the start of 1 Night 2 Days’ Season 4 in December of 2019. Again, just like every other seasons, controversy and drama followed this season’s cast of members. The wrongful ending of Kim Son Ho is something that many will always regret, as it turns out that he wasn’t the villain in his real-life drama; The criminal case of Ravi, a former beloved member, that adds another blurred face and erased episodes to the show’s archive; And the departure of the amazing Bang Geul Yi that a lot of us was, and some still, very sad about. There was a dread, a fear, that Season 4 is coming to an end. I know we all felt that way at one point. However, as Arsenal fanbase said, I trust the process and keep watching. Now, I can confidently say that I have found my weekly dose of happiness back. Gone are the ghost and fears of the past. This Season 4 is staying in my watch list.

When they announced that Na In Woo is joining the team, I was excited. One particular video about how he wanted Kim Jong Min to invite him to the show that was spreading like wildfire had fueled my excitement. You can see that he’s a real fan and genuinely wanted to be a part of the show. And, honestly, he’s not disappointing at all. He was a little awkward at first, but I can see a lot of variety show potential in him. Then Lee Jeong Gyu came along. As he is someone who’s not new to 1 Night 2 Days, I put my trust in him to keep the show running and he, too, is a great addition.

However, when I heard about Yoo Seon Ho, I was puzzled. First of all, he’s way younger than the members. I was doubtful of how he could match the older members. I was also not familiar with him as I didn’t watch his popular drama. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised when he was funny from the get go. Maybe having Na In Woo as a senior in the same company made him a little more comfortable filling the maknae role. But, I think, it was his personality that blend in seamlessly with the older members. He’s not afraid to challenge them, not shy to went up against everyone, and very competitive. One thing I do enjoy from these cast members is that Kim Jong Min often really took the role as the experienced senior of the show. His know-hows, as silly as they may seem, put him in the spotlight and earn him respect from the other members. I like this Kim Jong Min better.

I know a lot of fans still yearning for former members, previous seasons dynamic, but I personally think that it’s unfair to the show if we keep on comparing this seasons with its predecessors. This brand new Season 4 has its own unique OB v. YB dynamic, Married Men v. Bachelor competition, Dindin versus everyone, even Yeon Jung Hoon and Kim Jong Min war. It may not be the same with Jong Min – Jun Ho silliness or Adequate v. Less Adequate team competition, but it definitely has its own charm. For me, I love how the younger members are more comfortable in engaging with the older ones, but not to the point of disrespect.

Team YB has evoke the competitiveness of team OB and made games a lot more challenging and fun. I admit, sometimes Dindin went a little overboard in his little boy tantrum, but it’s just a character that he’s portraying in the show and not his real self.

Their brotherhood isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. At the end of the day, they managed to patch things up and it even strengthen their bonds. Oh, how dramatic I am. But it’s true, and you know it. My point is, this brand new Season 4 is still 1 Night 2 Days.

There are still beautiful places, fun games, funny twists, heart-warming brotherhood, and nerve-racking bokbulbok. Kim Jong Min is still the main babo of the show. Watch it, laugh and enjoy it, but don’t take it seriously. It is a variety show after all.

when you least expect it...... this one is a worthy watch

I came into this show only because of the SF9 guys ..... i wanted to see how they stack up against 'big bro" Rowwon.... I have to say chani and Hwiyoung did commendable jobs holding down their roles ..... hopefully its they will get more mainstream roles other than leasse known web series unlike Rowoon

for me its the kid in the playground giviing his honest opinion to Luice about his music was the highlight of the show plus the female protagonist dad visiting Chani in the hospital with that "thank you " for protecting my girl gesture that did it for me

Music plus the all the idol actors all over was nice distraction.

SO MUCH POTENTIAL ...... BUT FALLS FLAT IN THE END

started out amazing but towards the end ...... it was monumental MESS!!!!

Towards the 2nd half of the drama. you can sense the direction of the show . In stead of focusing the MUSIC aspect of the show.... the writers decided we needed to insult our intelligence with a Love triangle that frankly DIDNT add any value to the show.

I would LOVE the show to show the struggle and rise of the trainee Idol WITH the help of the time travel storyline BUT What they did was made it in some "let me fall in love " with FL angle

lets NOT even start with nonsensical last 4 episodes Which i pretty fast forward because it was WORSE than watching PAINT DRY !!!!!

good to binge watch

did not have any expectations going in this for better or worse thought of a fluff price of a kdrama..... but i was intrigued by the 1st of 2 main storyline.

Watched it only because the ML was in Mr Queen so i was kinda backtracking all his kdramas to watch and this was on my list. 12 episodes was a easy binge.

light hearted nothing too heavy and lotsa side characters that are pretty funny. plus I like the fact that its only twelve epidoes instead of the normal sixteen episodes.

Watch it if you are a fan of the ML..... the FL was .... meh nothing really stands out about her..... the second ML , the first story male antagonist and the rival detective agency characters were much better than her !!!
