If you loved the show, you'll love the special

If you were a fan of the show and the characters, you will enjoy this special episode as it feels like a nice little cherry on top for the rest of the series. After all, for a show all about weddings, who doesn't want to see our MC's finally getting their happy ending?

However, if you thought the rest of the show was just ok and weren't too bothered about seeing all the main cast having a reunion, you can probably skip this without missing too much. It is basically more of the same of what you watched before.

I personally really loved the show, especially Nuea's character, so I was glad to see him get his happy ending after everything he went through to get there. The special is full of fluff and sweet words, and a few good kisses sprinkled in for good measure. They also bring back the majority of the main reoccurring characters from the series, e.g. Nuea's coworkers and family.

However, I do wish this had just been the last episode of the main show rather than a paid special.

An imperfect, puzzle-like mystery

If you are bored of watching cookie-cutter BL's where everything is easily explained and chronological, you should try this show.

Every episode felt like putting a puzzle together in my mind and I would often think I had the right solution only to be thrown a curveball that would completely change my theories.

The show is far from perfect. There are many questions left unanswered by the end that I wish had been explained. There is still a lot of confusion in the earlier episodes which leaves you scratching your head. But if you have an itch that can only be scratched by a beautifully shot, mystery that keeps you guessing all the way to the final few episodes, this is might the show for you.

Some low-production value, charming fun.

This is the perfect show to turn your brain off, not think too deeply and just enjoy the quirkiness of this show. There is nothing mind-blowing about it but it is a nice break from all the polished, high-budget, high-production value shows and captures the undeniable charm that many of the early BLs used to have.

The main couple was cute and different from the normal cookie-cutter visuals and the setting of Isaan and the heavy feature of the Isaan dialect makes the show interesting.

The only parts of the show that I found myself skipping through where possible were the completely random musical numbers around the middle of the show. The opening song however was mildly addictive and I rarely found myself skipping.

Not the magical fairytale it thought it was...

My rating would have been much higher if this show's plotline had ended where it was at episode 8 or had episodes 9-10 explored the character's relationship now that they were finally together rather than going the direction it did.

I didn't mind the guessing game of Enchanté as it kept me engaged and interested to keep watching. I didn't even mind who it was revealed to be and found the reveal quite interesting because it was not who I had expected.

However, what I disliked the most about this show, especially in the last two episodes, was the main character, Theo. He was unbearably selfish the entire way through and seemed to make absolutely everything about himself, even things that shouldn't have been about him like his parent's relationship. He was extremely hypocritical with Akk, as he had been lying and playing with Akk's emotions through the Enchanté ordeal and then is upset that Akk had not told him something that was not his secret to tell.

I would have been happier with a more bittersweet ending where Theo left and Akk realised his own self-worth and how much better he deserved and Theo had more time to mature and learn that the world doesn't revolve around him.
