great hook

funny, sweet, lovable characters, great editing....i'm getting replay vibes because it takes place in 1996 and a bit of wlfkbj vibes because the female character is this sporty, happy go lucky girl with a bob haircut of course. i can tell i'm going to have some second lead syndrome here and there because the way li yu looks at yang xi is so so sweet and i have a soft spot for sensitive guys like him :( BUT i like the chemistry the two mains had right off the bat it looks like it will develop from bickering friends to lovers which is my FAVORITE!highlights in this episode-all the piggy back rides done in a sweet or funny way it doesn't come off as cheesy like it does in a lot of kdramas i've watched *rolls eyes* it's more casual and cute and very wholesome-i love her parents!! i can tell it will be centered around familial issues too and i'm already for it-hope to find out more about the other friends in their group clearly a lot of contrasting personalities here ^^

Realistic and relatable

I picked this drama up because I LOVE LOVE LOVE dramas about friendship and growing up and I feel like we don't get to see a lot of sisterhood in romance dramas as much as we should // ie. girls supporting girls!!!

"I thought I was the only one holding back"

"I thought I was the only one being wary of others"

aHHHH after finishing episode 1 I can say, I am pleasantly surprised. The episode started off pretty slow and I was wondering where we were going. However, I soon felt my self relating to Eun Jae so much -- I felt as if I were in her shoes as each her roommates left a bitter impression on her and made her feel isolated and unwelcome. At school, outside, everywhere she went, she couldn't speak up for herself when something was bothering her.

This episode painted that in such a realistic and relatable way that made us cheer Eun Jae on every step of the way. I'm excited that we already see her growth in episode 1, and I can only imagine how much more character development we will get from all of these lovely ladies.

I liked how they showed a little perspective from each of the characters and how maybe both we the audience and Eun Jae may have misjudged them. But just when the scene gets heartwarming and makes you all smiley, we get a casual confession at the end that makes us go ?whaaaaaaaat???

So excited to see what this drama has to offer!

9/10!!

*Tears* That ending though. This episode cleared up a lot of confusions and had me officially hooked from beginning to end while in episodes 1 and 2 I was frustrated, episodes 3 and 4 really picked things up and made me LOVE this

We finally have confirmed who Joon Hyuk is and which of the twins is actually missing. On top of that, while we were unsure of whether or not Woo Jin should trust Jung Yeon, we know now that she, too is in the dark about her past.

And dun dun dun, the main villain of the show (at least 2017) is revealed...the professor! Although I'm wondering where he is now in 2037? And what happened exactly to the twins' father? Will Ho Soo help out Joon Hyuk's side, or become one of the villains?

This show is intense and thrilling!! I love it more than I expected to!! Bring it on. (Also petition to have Yeo Jin Goo smile more because asdfjkl)

soulmates

aHH the ending!!! In this episode, we get a few more hints into Dong man's past but there are still a lot of things we are left curious about. Why exactly did he leave Tae Kwon Do? What's the story exactly...? There seems to be a gloomier tone to this side of the story even though the drama trailers game me a comedy-romance only vibe.

As for Ae Ra, I'm so tired of people looking down on her and treating her like garbage--and she is too, so can't wait to see how she'll show all of them. she makes an amazing MC so hopefully we see her dream come true.

more importantly did I already mention the amAzING chemistry between the two leads? Because i'll say it again? I'm excited to see the friendship turn into romance but I also want to know more about their history as friends, I love how loyal they are to each (cuTE CHILDHOOD SCENES!) other despite all the bickering. (Even though we delved into some character development for the main leads, I hope to see some more for the second leads as well!!!)

EVERYTHING

I'm usually not too keen on first episodes of dramas. I find myself trying to resist the urge to skip in the first few moments of first episodes because I'm eager to get to the main storyline.

Fight For My Way has all the qualities of a good first episode--it starts with a lovable cast of characters, a good pace, and just the right amount of sweet and funny moments for a first episode. I found myself pausing to laugh a lot and squeal because of the already obvious STRONG CHEMISTRY the main leads have!!! arGHHH

Dong Man is a clueless yet adorable goofball while Ae Ra tries her best to keep up a strong and cutthroat persona but at the same time is seriously too cute--and that makes for a good best friend (for now hehe...) duo.

Aside from the romance, I can see that there's going to be a good plot/storyline of them cheering each other on towards their dreams and I can't wait for more episodes!!!

meh

Not a bad start! I found myself laughing more than a few times; I already like the type of comedy here. The episode also had its fair share of heart-tugging moments. aRGH I adore Seo In Guk though in every role he plays, so I might be a bit biased to keep watching this. It's not totally OMG-I-HAVE-TO-WATCH-THE-NEXT-EPISODE first episode, but it's cute and funny enough with a great cast for me to continue.

Despite the stuff with the caviar incident being a filler, I actually really enjoyed that and we got to see some bromance haha. No matter how much min soo complains about chef, and how much chef scolds him they care about each other.

Of course the flashbacks in this episode were bittersweet and I'm heartbroken for Soonae. But I was generally bored throughout this episode. I'm not sure where the plot is heading yet except for us uncovering how Soonae died.

Four Stars

Episode 2 started off much better than episode 1 with lots of comedic moments that actually made me burst out laughing. I expected a lot of swapping back and forth but for now it seems that we're sticking to Soonae as our main girl. I thought that she was going to be there just for comedy so I'm really happy to see her backstory which is bittersweet now.

I'm worried that we won't get character development from Bong Sun though and that Seonwoo will fall in love with ghost girl which will definitely end up tragically. I'm trusting the show not to head down that path though? Aside from that I thought this episode was generally slow, but I understand the slow buildup and its actually building up my curiosity to watch more! So don't let me down!

A solid start though a bit slow. I can't help comparing it to The Master's Sun (one of my favorites) although I'm trying hard not to. Especially since the first half of the episode gave off very similar vibes. For a first episode it wasn't totally engaging, but it is definitely promising with the ending, I can tell we are going to have a lot of fun watching this.

Most people seem to see Bong Sun as bland, but I find her seriously adorable; she plays the shy character well. Of course our main ghost girl (don't know her name) is aye total opposite of our shy heroine and I'm already so I'm excited to see what's to come. Our main lead guy seems promising too. Rather than a jerk he's just strict. He's also arrogant but in the comedic sense. And I love that we delve into his past character as well which was similar to Bong Sun's.

I'm a little bit iffy because I don't want our male lead to fall in love with Possessed Bong Sun because that's not actually HER ya know, but it looks like that's where it's heading...oh well hopefully they pull it off well!

I'm not feeling this episode. I feel like I have to drag myself and watch the finale only because I don't want to leave this series unfinished. I'm hoping everything is wrapped up nicely.

Nostalgia the only feeling I can use to describe this episode. I felt that strange mix of happiness and sadness seeing our five six years later all grown up and coming back to their neighborhood to their families //tear drop.

It was so sweet that Junghwan always adopted his hyung's dream ahh my heart. Brotherly love! Also speaking of that I'm glad to have finally seen some sisterly love as well between Bora and Deoksun. ??

I don't really mind that not much romance has happened until now because the main reason I love this series so much is just everything it embodies as a whole. Super meaningful. And though we are still on the edge wondering whether our man is Junghwan or Taek, I'm glad one couple made it through! Jinjoo calling Taek's dad abba ahhhhh

I expected Taek to not back off due to his competitive nature but I guess 15 years of friendship is hard to come over. Can't say I'm mad, I'm happy to know that their friendship means so much but that means more frustration to come because neither are going to make a move and meanwhile Deoksun is as clueless as ever

I laughed during the ajummas girl group flashback HAHAHAHA these ajummas are my absolute favorite. I love how we get a glimpse into everyone's lives and not just our main five.

I found myself a little bored because the episode felt a little slow but nonetheless a lot went on still! It may just be my frustration over the romance story. Sunwoo bonding with Taek's dad! Adorable. I'm happy that Dong Ryeong "made up with his mom" although he claims to never have faught with her lol. I'm just happy we had that resolved and Dong Ryeong got the love he deserves!

There were lots of sweet family moments as usual, and I wasn't surprised to know Bora felt jealous of how likeable Deoksun is. Envy between sisters in a harmless way is very relatable. Bora wishes she could show affection as easily as Deoksun.

AHHHHH that ending?? The moment Sunwoo told Taekie that love can be seen through someone's eyes I knew it was foreshadowing something! I'm scared for the next few episodes. I just don't want friendships to fall apart please!

I'm not expecting any over dramatic scenes obviously because this drama is not like that haha but I'm still nervous. #teamJunghwan
