Not Worth It
I try to enjoy this drama but it was not happening. The chemistry with the characters was not there. There was over acting and there was no romance between the leads. They waited until the last episode before the lead characters really get together. I could not understand the characters from the past or where they from a game and came to life. It made no sense. The lead character martial art was terrible and her brother was worst and they ran a martial art school. It is short but I do not think is worth watching. The writer and director could have done a better job so the actors performance could have been better and then the story could have made sense.Was this review helpful to you?
Conflicting Like/Dislike
There are many things I liked about this drama and a few that I was disappointed in. I liked the main characters. The lead female was strong minded, witty and intelligent. She did not let things that was going against her put her down. I liked the lead male who took things slowly and thought things out before reacting. I liked there relationship. It started slowly, but quickly emerge. No hate for half the episode and then realized they liked each other. We did not have to wait 15 or 20 episodes before it was admitted they like each other. I like how they worked together to solve their problems that was facing each and getting to know each other better and they were very supported of each other. Even family issues they came together to help one another. The second lead couple was more complex and I did not get that chemistry that the first couple had. I do think that this drama was to long and the writers extended some issues just to make the drama last longer were it could have been solve much quicker. in this area it left the episodes boring and not interesting. The problem with the 3rd couple did not interest me at all. She seem immature, selfish and whinny. While he, as a psychiatrist who had treated her and married her, should have known how to handle her problem and treat it. It stead he was quite all the time and shy. Just made no sense. My Top 3 Best Drama in 2020
This is a very well written drama. One of the best from beginning to end. I love the way each character develops and how the main lead male character knew what he wanted from the beginning. I like how the story told for several of the supporting characters went through out the episode and we got to see an ending in the last episode. There was no such an evil person that you would hate just one jerk but we ignore him. It was a gift for a very hard winter that we are going thru. I put it in my top 3 favorite. The actors performance was great and I love the chemistry they had with each other. I hope we can see more dramas like this in the future or even a second season of this one.Was this review helpful to you?
A little disappointed.
I started to watch this drama and became interested in the story. The first few episode kept me in gage in the story but about the 5th episode I think the writer forgot the plot of the story or did not know were to take the story. The fake pregnancy might have worked in the beginning but as the story kept going I wonder that no one has notice that her stomach does not grow and the antic that she kept pulling was ridicules. The lead female character became annoying because she only care for herself. The lead male character try to show affection but the female lead character was a cold turkey until maybe episode 21. The obsessive girl and the child shish girl became boring because they both wanted to married the Male lead character and could not understand the word no, I don't like you. There are so much that I can question that it kept lowering my point system. The last 7 episode were much better but very predictable. The ending was cute and I believe the actors did a good job on their performance. The ending was cute. The writer need help this could have been a better script.Was this review helpful to you?
Cute, Funny, Worth Watching
A cute and funny drama. As many obsess girls that are in this drama who wants to break them up, I admire that the leads kept each other together even when they are just fake dating. The female lead is silly but strong and a leader. I like that the lead male is the first one to realize he likes her and stop denying his feelings. I did not agree with all the story but the characters kept me interested. At least it did not start it with the leads hating each other. They dislike each other but quickly things change. Love It
I love how the relation to food and memories was a constant in the story. It make me think of many memories of my family at the dinner table. The chemistry between the lead Female and male characters was great. I like how they kept it simple and no obsess character. The lead female was portrait as a strong and smart with great charisma and I loved the character. The second couple was cute even when they had their ups and down in their marriage, which is so true. The part about him not caring about his wedding ring. I can understand how mad she was. Been their and done that. The actors performance was great and I love the story. The shorter episode but longer hour was a blessing. The story was better understood. Gao Han Yu is a great actor and did not disappoint me in his performance. Jade Cheng performance is always wonderful, I am a big fan of hers. Some of the cooking in the story gave me some ideas about my own recipe. Love it.Was this review helpful to you?
For Romantic Person A Must Watch
As sad as this drama ends to be. It is a wonderful drama. I cried my eyes out but I loved the story. After it finish all I wanted to do is read about these characters and find out more about them. The lead characters are wonderful together and so much chemistry. At the beginning you feel for their affection but you are sad they could not be lovers. The acting is very good for the rest of the characters and they do so great in their performance. You love hate so many characters because they won't let them be. The scenery is wonderful and the whole thing keeps you mesmerize on the screen. If you are a romantic you must watch this drama.Was this review helpful to you?
A Must Watch
I found this to be such a wonderful drama. It was slow but very much worth it. The lead characters were wonderful and they had so much chemistry. I love the story even more because I just finish watching "One And Only" and there is so much of this drama talks about "One and Only." Ren Jia Lun and Bai Lu are in both drama and I was curious about how good this drama would be. Well it met my expectation. They are a great team together and their acting is just wonderful. I believe both of these drama have become in my top 10 list. The actors did a great job in their performances. I loved all the characters. A must watch for everyone. What A Wonderful Surprise Of A Drama !!!!!!!!!!!!
What a drama! Nothing you can expect! Lee Je Hoon totally surprise me with his character. He looked like a different person. The stories with each episode is great. The characters are all great. I enjoy this drama so much. How well the actors portrait their characters. I have a special person who is Autistic and Tang Jun Sang portrayed the character perfectly. I hated to see it finish and hoping for a second season. I give it to the director and the writers this was a perfect story. From the music, to each topic in every episode, which I learn so much, was touching and so well done. It is my favorite this year.Was this review helpful to you?
Love All The Lead Characters
The story of this drama intrigue me. I love to see female in roles that were meant for man in the period dramas. I love the female lead being strong and independent even if she is a little naïve. This is a great story and I love all the characters in it. The lead male and female have great chemistry and make a cute couple. The 2nd lead couple who are their friends also have great chemistry and make a cute couple. The character of the lead brother was one of my favorite. His loyalty to his brother and friendship makes this story so good. The actors did a great job with their characters and there so much chemistry between all the lead characters that make you believe in the story more. I love how they show you the information of the autopsy after she finish with the body. It makes you understand the story better and more believable. One of the best drama this year and a must watch. I wish the ending would have give in us a more relationship with the lead actors after they were marry. Maybe a second season.Was this review helpful to you?
Incredibly Great
This drama took me by surprise. I just decided to watch the first episode because I new that the last 2 episodes were going to be shown soon. I fell in love with the 2 main characters. It felt like a father and son coming together. Both the characters change so many other characters in the story. An even the topic is sad but, I love how the writer and the director put it together. To use ballet as the back up to the topic was simply genius. I have not seen ballet since I was in high school and I had forgotten how wonderful and joyful it makes you feel when you watch it. To see how the 2 main characters come together and the love and friendship that develops. The trust that they have between them. How a family come together when one needs it the most. I think I cry just because I was happy to be watching it. We are all getting old and as we age we learn from the lessons we have gone thru. To share what we know with the a younger person and help them realize their dream is wonderful. The ending of this story was perfect. I love it. The actors performance was wonderful. Some of the best I have seen. The scrip and direction is also the best. I even love the music and is not something I critic while I am watching. A Nice Story for Friday Lady's Night
The story is different and it hypnotizes you, episode by episode. A short drama but well written. It is a person that comes from the past and helps the love of his life in the future. I really like the romance between the lead characters. It is develop slowly and simple. Especially as the traveler remembers his past and find his love has been reincarnated with the same name and looks. I love how the writer makes the lead male character learn about everything in the future. How he sings is wonderful. The decision they have to make to survive in this world and that sometime people don't change. The performances by the actors is great. It is short drama but it is a very well thought out and explain. You can follow the story clear and simple. The ending was not my favorite . A shot of realism family life
It is a very well written drama about family. Each character has a story and each family has individual story of what happens in an every day life. Two family become cross with each others path and as the path cross they fight and also help each other. The drama tell you about a love of parents and decisions that parents make that can cause harm to their children and their family. The children that get spoil and need to grow up and the children that get verbal abuse or the obsession that a parent has with their child that won't let then grow and leave the nest. The story is very well written for every character and you can relate to these characters. The actors performance is the best and the chemistry that is between is very good. Each day I could not wait to see what happen next and I felt like I was part of the family and everything they were going thru. A very realist view of family. It Stink
I was hoping to watch a drama about strong women that have control of their life, but this drama makes us look like women can be strong but we dwindle down to crap when a man comes into our lives. The only real strong women of all 3, was the talk radio host. Who weaken herself for a younger man who was the only smart person and supported her. The main female lead I wonder if she ever grew up, and she did not seem like she learn anything about relationship after her ex-boyfriend broke up with her. I do have to tell the writer that women at 30 speak their mind and I hated all that guessing about her first love and the phone number of another female. She was so afraid to ask him about the situation or find out how he really felt. Did she not learn from her last relationship to speak up so she would not get hurt. Those scenes I kept wondering am I watching a drama about teens or about adult women who have been out in the real world with experience. Lee Seung Yoo the male lead also made me upset because if he really love her he should have explain to her as soon as he knew she saw the phone number and why did the writer had to put in an obsess ex-girlfriend. You make us look like we all go crazy when we brake up and have to force the boy into love and threaten the new girlfriend. The girl who own the bar I did not understand her at all. She was strong owning her business but she had more of a relationship with the young man who was her part timer then her friend. I was really disappointed with all the characters and this story. My Heart Broke
At the beginning I started to follow the young girl as she reads the diary of her mother. I started to enjoy the story as it went a long. The 2 young leading ladies, I love they were young but smart and competitive. One is doing it for her family and one is doing it for herself. As the male leads get added to these girls life the story becomes more complex and interesting. The actors performance was great and you really could feel the story as the young girl reads from her mother diary in every episode. But then the end happens. You are left hanging (what happen in the present time !, their future !, now !) If they were going to tells us the story of these characters when they where young why not keep the whole thing as they were young in the past until they got to 25/21. Why did they keep bringing us to the present time. They only showed us a 2 characters of how they are now and talk about some of the characters but gave us no glimpse of what happen to them now and then nothing. We are kept with just the memory of the past but not the present. We only know about the FL and her mother but not everyone else. I kept wanting to know did the present FL and ML ever meet again as they are older. What happen with the other FL, did she get married. My heart broke. DISAPPOINTMENT.Was this review helpful to you?
