The story was about high school student Ye, who studied in the school his father taught. Ye's piano skill was above others. On the first day of school, while walking around the piano rooms, he heard an unknown and beautiful melody, played by Lu. From then on, the two were always together. However, Lu seemed mysterious and when Ye tried to get to know her more, she always brushed off his questions by saying that it was a secret. There was a misunderstanding between the two of them, and subsequently Lu never came to school anymore. Ye was heartbroken. But the more he tried to find out, he realized that things were not as they seemed.

First thing I want to mention is its awesomeness in music department. This film’s music is composed by Terdsak Janpan & Jay Chou. Every track in the album is amazing and gripping. I love every track of album but I frequently listen to ‘Sunny Doll’, ‘Angel’, both themes of Xiaoyu and ‘The Flashback’. The music will grab you and blend you into the atmosphere. Use of Piano in this movie is effective, brilliant, breathtaking and touching. Piano performs crucial role in this movie, in characters’ feelings and emotions like when both leads are playing together and The Piano Battle.
Words of other reviewer, “It’s no exaggeration to say that its background music is another main character. Even if you hate soft music, once you try to

    Oh. My. God.

T-This was just brilliant. I can't really explain it in any other way. D: The story was super touching, the music was super cute, the cast was adorable, the surprises kept on coming and I-I just loved it!

I can't really underline my favorite parts without spoiling, but the whole movie is just pure genius. It's really well thought through, and entertaining as well as it is just beautiful. It really touched me.

Recommended for EVERYONE at ALL AGES.

You have to be a robot not to love this movie.

This filma was Amazing, i love the part that the music played in this, i feel that the music really made the movie what it was, as the above review says "its the third lead role".

If you like music related films/dramas i woul Highly recomend "5 fingers" a korean drama about a family & their business that makes pianos.

Spoiler! Nice explanations to understand the whole idea of the movie:

    Yurika Yuri comment (youtube user):

"Actually, each time she time travels, the first person she see's will be the one who's gonna see her. ONLY ONE PERSON. that's why she closes her eyes and count steps until she reach the classroom so that she could only see Jay chou FIRST (also, so that jay chou can shee her too). When jay chou had the competition, the first person she saw was the girl who likes jay chou and that's why she was able to talk to her that time. and actually, jay chou didn't see her that time. :)) "

    leonhart34 comment (another youtube user)

"I think he might have played it faster than her, meaning he went back to before she met him. She looked like she didn't know him in the classroom."

Huge spoilers for plot twist don't read if you don't want to know -

So I thought this was going to be a sweet drama romance story about kids in music school but it turned out to be a time travel movie ... what the heck? I mean I have no problem with that but i was thinking something more dramatic like illness or bad family or rape or something like that for the secret not some scifi fantasy type of stuff. this movie for sure didn't move me and I didn't think it was amazing like most the other commenters. 7/10

I really liked this movie. But what made it all the more beautiful was the soundtrack. It fit into the emotions running through the movie. It does start off a little slow but stick with it.

I'm thinking too much. But there are so many loopholes and even though Jay Chou did a great job as a debuting director, how did Da Yong talk to Xiao Yu towards the end? When she saw Ching Yi and Xiang Lun together? I'm so confused now. Anyone have any assumptions?

It started off a bit boring in my opinion but I just couldn't stop watching it because of the female lead. Absolutely loved how the actress played the role out, made me fall in love with her ~ I didn't have high expectations for the movie because of Jay Chou (singer/actor kind of thing) but it was a beautiful movie, simply brilliant!<br />
