Love the series for the music, actors and storyline. To me, this is the best 2 moons. Acting may be limited but the actors, chemistry and the background songs were excellent and beautiful. This series made me love Thai BL music for the first time. It is so much better than the second season. The second season lacks of background music and superb execution. I can watch many many times for the first season but no more than twice for the second one. It is cheesy but enjoyable and lovable. Too bad the second season could not have excellent background music and other strengths including Phana, Ming and Beam actors. To me, the original 2 moons is the best and perfect one.

I'll talk about few different points of this drama:
1) Handsome guys alert !!! This series is full of variety of handsome guys... all the cast is really good looking. Actually both male and female.
If we're to talk about MC's: Phana is the quintessence of good looking, fit, smart, rich and loyal man...
Wayo looks gentle and more on the feminine side but his character is not exactly so. He can't speak softly and he's very stubborn, he has a hard time expressing himself and so a lot of complications show on the way to their "relationship".
I love all the relationships and ships here and what I actually love the most are friendship goals! Wayo & Ming, Phana&Kit&Beam all of them support and cheer for each other while trying to deal with their own love "problems".
2) This series concentrate mainly on Phana&Wayo, you'll have a little bit of other couples but actually mostly in the last few episodes. But this doesn't mean it's a bad thing. On the other hand we have more time to understand out MC's, their perspectives and their feelings. We get to know their stories more in-depth with flashbacks that will explain many things along the way. Plus they're are so sweet...
Their story is more sweet than serious. It's like a blooming flower of the romance... it's just the beginning so do not expect any steamy situations... But the amount of sweetness and cutes and love will compensate everything!!! Their story is just to sweet.... I think i got some cavities now...
3) Scenography... this series must've had some good sponsoring... beautiful locations, nice cars, nice clothes... really there is some things to look at...
And yes of course we can always say" the could have do this or that...", "It's missing this or that".... True... I have a few things I wish I saw in this drama but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the show! I actually loved it !!! Less doesn't necessary mean bad.

Unexpectedly Great!

When Bas first stepped on screen I was pretty thrown. I was like "what's up with the weird little 12 year old kid?" (I think at the time of filming, Bas was 17.)

That went away almost immediately. Bas has some acting chops! In fact, of the two leads, God Itthipat is the one who is wooden. I'm not sure if God is in any other BL's, but he reads just a little uncomfortable with a couple of BL scenes. Though he was perfectly cute with Bas in other scenes, so maybe that's just the way the character Phana's temperament was written to be.

Regardless, the couple is adorable often enough that I much prefer this version of 2 Moons to the alt version, 2 moons 2. Kimmon does a great job as a best friend and wing man. He really brought such authenticity to the role that I could feel his character's platonic best friend love! Copter plays Kit just as brisk as Kit was ever meant to be. Tee was a very dependable and frankly funny Beam! And I gotta be real. Tae was much hotter than God and had a great chemistry with Bas. Tae acted Forth so perfectly you could just FEEL his interest in WaYo. And the dynamic between Kit and Beam was perfect!

The scene locations had a nice feel to them. Production values were solid! The scene dressing was very detailed, something I don't often comment on unless it was bad. Not so in this case. The music was cute.

The villainess was less awful than some, but wow, still just as awful as she needed to be. And the support characters were wonderful. The Fairy gang were splendid! And Bee Napat was just adorable!

This one wasn't deep or too terribly dramatic. It was kind of fun and had a predictable enough path that if you just needed a good time watch, this is THE thing to put on. It's very 'feel good' and tropy in a silly way that makes you giggle. It's too bad they never did a season 2 with this cast. I'd have eaten it right up!

Is it the best drama I have ever watched? no. is it the sweetest and most light-hearted drama I have ever watched? yes. A little sad phase, lots of fun and excitement in the drama. I was shocked to see that the makers have decided to portray Wayo's character like this. And I was extremely happy seeing that. I have many things to say but I am keeping it short. Many of us can relate to Wayo's character. He is being rude [cutely] towards his crush. Not every drama shows this[except some bl dramas I have watched]. I have seen the one-sided lovers are being shy babies but personally, I prefer wayo's character more because I can relate.
The chemistry is great if I see them as bestfriends and slight bromance. umm! but romantically, it was kind of a little bit off [but I am not complaining bcz I don't prefer that much skinship].
P'pha's character is well portrayed too. He was kind of lost. I love the friend circle which made me stick to this drama tbh mostly.

A promising BL series hindered by lackluster lead performances

This series falls short of its potential, primarily due to lackluster lead performances that fail to ignite the necessary sparks. It fails to deliver a compelling portrayal of the central relationship and struggles to engage on an emotional level.

The series follows the lives of 4 college students, each with their own unique personalities and aspirations. At its core, 2 Moons focuses on the evolving relationship between Wayo and Phana. Their journey is filled with ups and downs and you are taken on an emotional rollercoaster as they navigate the challenges of love, acceptance and personal growth.

Bas's portrayal of Wayo is disappointing and lacks depth and often comes across as wooden and unconvincing. His limited range of expressions fails to capture the nuances of Wayo's growth, resulting in lack of believability and emotional resonance.
Similarly Thanit's depiction of Phana fails to make a lasting impact. Due to lack of required intensity, he is unable to to show the character's internal conflicts and evolving feelings. And the most egregious part being that their walk-off the scene is always awkward like they are struggling to put one step ahead of the other. Also there is an utter lack of chemistry between the 2 leads making their interactions seem forced and the romance unbelievable.

While this series may have had the potential in terms of its storyline and supporting cast, the weak lead performances significantly hinder its overall quality. The result is a series that falls flat, struggling to engage viewers and leaving them longing for more compelling performances.

2moons: The Series was the first ever Thai BL Drama that I have ever watched.
It was my baptismal Thai BL Drama and I didn't expect a lot from it but it left a special mark in my heart. :)

Story: The plot is not too complicated. Some people might find it difficult to get through some episodes because sometimes the pacing is too slow. It lacked in substance and it does not have major plot twist but the lightness, cuteness, and the fun aspect made up for it.

Acting: Other people might say that the actors were very awkward and stiff. Yes, I agree on some points but I think their awkwardness and stiffness brought something to the table making some scenes sweeter and cuter. The chemistry between Bas (Wayo) and God (Phana) was not really that hyped but it was enough.

Music: To be honest, the background music was all over the place. Like every scene had it even though sometimes it felt like it was not needed. However, their osts: แค่ได้เป็นคนสุดท้ายที่เธอคิดถึง by PAUSE, นับหนึ่งกันไหม by PCHY, and 1 2 3 4 5 I Love You by GIMME 5 are great and can give you a major LSS.

Rewatch Value: I would probably rewatch this series if I have more time.

Overall: If you want a not too dramatic, light, cute, and sweet Thai BL Drama then I recommend you this.

Just like what I told you, this was my first Thai BL Drama and I think it is definitely a good starter for anyone who is not familiar with the genre. I can also say that 2moons paved the way for Thai BL Drama to be recognized for wider audiences.

Now, order a pink milk and start watching this. :)

Super fun story to watch!

This is my first time writing a review here, so bear with me.

A lot of the lower scoring reviews I read were comparing this to other BL dramas. Considering this is only the second BL I've ever finished, (the first one being 1000 stars) I don't have much to compare this to. I really enjoyed it. I thought the first episode started off pretty shaky, but I was completely hooked in by episode 3. While this didn't make me want to binge the same way 1000 stars did (I watched that whole series in one sitting), I found myself always looking forward to the next episode, and I often chose to watch it instead of doing any school work.

It might be my inexperience with BL dramas so far, but I thought the acting was fine. I found all the characters to be believable in every moment. The only big complaint I have is when a question would be asked, and there would be at least a 5 second delay where the characters just stared at each other before an answer was given, if an answer was even given at all (because sometimes there wasn't). But aside from that, I'm sure I'll rewatch this at some point in the future. If anything to see if this opinion still holds up after I've watched the BLs other reviewers have compared this to

Honestly, I know a lot of people liked this series but I don't think is anything special. I mean, it has Kim, Copter and Bass wich makes this enjoyable but the storyline and everything, I just don't like it very much. I really liked the song that they were always playing and now I'm kinda adiccted to it, but I think theres not much I can say about the series itself. So, basically, you can spend a good time watching it but if you really like getting into the series and feeling all the emotions the characters feel, then I don't recommend this series. I'm sorry to all the people that liked this series, I just didn't liked very much.

I totally want to say that, I'm never gonna believe others views ..As if it sounds amazing or Interesting to you, it doesn't mean it will do the same for me..I was hyped about this series seeing people's comments how one should watch this story, it's very good sort of stuff..But for me it was totally not worth it...Now don't go by my perception..Ur perception may vary.. But really the storyline had a great depth...The story could have been more interesting..But but, I don't feel it hasn't been what it should have been... The main flaw I felt is with the main actors...Wayo and phana story totally has a great amount of potential..And I totally liked phana character ..His acting expression, his acting as the attitude guy, the cool attitude boy..Was very good...But Wayo , ( Bas )acting made me think didn't he liked the script or was he forcing himself to act in that character...His same boring expression, or rather lifeless expression made me think...Like he was not into the whole series.. Seriously that same expression , his acting sry to say it terribly sucks for me in this drama..As much as I was hyped reading people's comments how the story is good. But then seeing the first episode and (bas) acting it totally felt offbeat.. Frankly I was little irritated..Come-on man why ur giving that same baby face expression...Atleast act like how the scenes or ur partner needs to see ur expressions..I know most bl dramas have a concept of one being the badass cool attitude boy and other being the totally opposite, shy and meek one..And frankly I like these type of stories...It feels good to see how shy ones mostly makes the cold, attitude ones ( guy) change his heart..And I wanted to watch this drama for that reason...But Come-on however how much shy u are .. Atleast show ur expressions..Giving that same grandpa expression doesn't seem like it will make my heart skip....There are many bl dramas which made my heart flutter...But this one.. Didn't do any sort of ..And I feel with bas terrible acting it overshadowed (God) character too ..The couple totally felt like lost its charm... Seriously I didn't at all liked the main leads chemistry..It felt so exaggerated ..Bas stoic expression made the whole phana and Wayo story lifeless...I won't tell all it was like that, The scenes where he was laughing with his friends with ming..How his character seemed comfortable and his laughing face was looking soo good..But then that expression when u need to show in front of ur partner..It felt like he was stone .. And totally the couple even though after in relationship didn't felt like were actual couple...I do watch bl dramas and many people are interested in romance or kissing scenes maybe bed scenes too...But I totally don't expect this thing in every drama..That there has to be a bed scenes or more romance ,touchy things between couples...But I guess holding hands, giving hugs , all these too matters..And even if I get to see those I would be happy...Even if kisses are not there or romantic scenes between them...Ook even if holding hands , hugging each other these also not there much in the drama, but atleast one need to feel the chemistry between the couple..It should feel like they are romantically involved..But this drama for me failed to do that..And that's what I didn't feel anything watching Wayo and phana story...But rather I would say ming and kit had a lot more potential in the story ..Their acting or ming teasing kit. And kit who easily gets frustrated with ming .his angry expression, but when he is shy or awkward in front of ming.. Totally felt so good and real..I guess ming and kit could have made the drama intersting for me...Wayo and phana totally didn't get it at all...Even though the script has lot more potential, the story being intersting but if the main leads don't make u feel like that, the show totally loses its limelight... And I definitely won't complain about ( God) because yes he was good...His acting I totally like it .. But bas acting sry to say really sucks in this drama...Didn't at all make me feel like watching the show ever again .. And even though the writers made to make their story as unique they want..But can u stop that long gazes , the constant staring ..How Wayo stares only at phana half the time..And I guess instead of staring and blinking the eyes.. Atleast could have given more time in adding more dialogues atleast ..Apart from the poor acting .This could have made the show more watchable...And I guess in that staring only half the audience will loose interest and the scenes seems lost...Well that's what I can say... 🙃🙃 But then again I will tell don't go by my words .. Watch the story if u feel like... Becoz ur opinion may vary from me...

Let me start this out with saying that, as someone who's read the book, I actually don't think P'Godt's acting was that bad. I know this might get me killed, but I think that he did really well for a character like P'Pha. While I love P'Pha, the truth of the matter is that he's an awkward hot guy who has a lot of pressure on his shoulders just because he's attractive and everyone wants a piece of him, and I think P'Godt did really well at portraying that.

I also really love this version of 2 Moons because it's just so to the T of the book, you know? Every scene I wanted to see from the book is here, and that's another reason I like this so much. I also love the actors who play P'Kit and Ming~

Everyone's so cute, and I hate them tbh XD

Honestly, though? If you get past the awkward dialogue at points (they really talked like that in the novel too, by the way; it's not just the show. I think they're just awkward people in general lol) and a mild amount of cheese, which is always good for the soul, this show is wonderful~

2moons The Series

So I didn’t actually know about 2moons at first. I had already seen 2moons2 and only found out 2moons came before it after someone commented about it. So I was used to the cast in 2moons2 and can’t help but compare the two, but I tried to be as objective as possible and view them as two completely different shows that happen to have a similar name.

While I did like this series, for me 2moons felt a little bit dry, if that makes sense. The pace of the story seemed to drag in parts and then speed up in others.
The chemistry didn’t really seem to be there much for some of the couples interactions and at times the acting felt a bit stiff in certain scenes.
Wasn’t the most original storyline but it was cute i guess.

Overall it was a cute series but I was kind of underwhelmed by it.

Decent option but.....

This series will always be that comfort series for anyone who needs a break from series with overwhelming plot and twists. This drama is something I enjoy even if it's not really taking off or climbing up my ranks. Well at least this one is decent than Gen Y.

I understood now how producers ruined the main leads in Gen Y particularly Pha and Wayo. The cheesy romance was there and the chemistry. You know what, I enjoyed MingKit more than the two I've mentioned earlier. Kimmon really did that. His face exudes cuteness overload and quirkiness. I adore his presence so much ugghffgh. Literally he's an eye candy. Tee is damn eye candy too, cuteness overload too!! Love their romance with Copter over God and Bas. Ngl I found God and Bas's portrayal a bit bland that's why Kimmon and Copter are the stars of the show. Moving forward, I enjoy how uncomplicated the story was.

Ok so here we are in my negative side territory. I never demanded anything surprising but the series really did a trope that I fkin hate: hateful biatches! These bitches always gossip and stalk Pha, being flirtatious which is really dragging. As they get on the screen, my blood is boiling like hell! I disliked that trope so much. They just exist to make Yo jealous and to make my blood boil, that's it. Not surprised by enemy to lover type of shit, I can live with that. Another con is Tae's portrayal of Forth is awful. Tae looked lifeless everytime he's on the scene. It felt tiring to see him there just having this poker face like man do something. It felt that casting him as Forth is a bad choice bcuz I never really felt his presence even if it's him and Bas in one frame. Moreover, ForthBeam never really developed even in its few last eps. Another silly con is that scene when Pha got out of car in front of the condo then he escorted Yo to the pharmacy walking. I mean, yow you have that car and it's raining, why don't u just drive him there. It's like grabbing a ladder to display and not use it.

So, to conclude it all, it's an okay series. Didn't quite understand the hype I'm hearing about this. But for what it is, I pretty enjoyed it.
