2 Moons - The O.G.
The acting was fine, but I'm again still wondering why so many BL writers have to put in scenes in their novels, which belittle the serious topic of rape. In this adaption, I counted at least 3 to 5 scenes, in which the topic of rape was used in a joke to the Wayo character. I also found it particular how Wayo's attractiveness was stated in a way, that made it seem necessary that his "cuteness" was another way to point out his manliness was somehow different from Phana.I liked how supportive Wayo and Phana's friends were in their encouragement of their relationship.

1) Handsome guys alert !!! This series is full of variety of handsome guys... all the cast is really good looking. Actually both male and female.
If we're to talk about MC's: Phana is the quintessence of good looking, fit, smart, rich and loyal man...
Wayo looks gentle and more on the feminine side but his character is not exactly so. He can't speak softly and he's very stubborn, he has a hard time expressing himself and so a lot of complications show on the way to their "relationship".
I love all the relationships and ships here and what I actually love the most are friendship goals! Wayo & Ming, Phana&Kit&Beam all of them support and cheer for each other while trying to deal with their own love "problems".
2) This series concentrate mainly on Phana&Wayo, you'll have a little bit of other couples but actually mostly in the last few episodes. But this doesn't mean it's a bad thing. On the other hand we have more time to understand out MC's, their perspectives and their feelings. We get to know their stories more in-depth with flashbacks that will explain many things along the way. Plus they're are so sweet...
Their story is more sweet than serious. It's like a blooming flower of the romance... it's just the beginning so do not expect any steamy situations... But the amount of sweetness and cutes and love will compensate everything!!! Their story is just to sweet.... I think i got some cavities now...
3) Scenography... this series must've had some good sponsoring... beautiful locations, nice cars, nice clothes... really there is some things to look at...
And yes of course we can always say" the could have do this or that...", "It's missing this or that".... True... I have a few things I wish I saw in this drama but it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the show! I actually loved it !!! Less doesn't necessary mean bad.

Unexpectedly Great!
When Bas first stepped on screen I was pretty thrown. I was like "what's up with the weird little 12 year old kid?" (I think at the time of filming, Bas was 17.)That went away almost immediately. Bas has some acting chops! In fact, of the two leads, God Itthipat is the one who is wooden. I'm not sure if God is in any other BL's, but he reads just a little uncomfortable with a couple of BL scenes. Though he was perfectly cute with Bas in other scenes, so maybe that's just the way the character Phana's temperament was written to be.
Regardless, the couple is adorable often enough that I much prefer this version of 2 Moons to the alt version, 2 moons 2. Kimmon does a great job as a best friend and wing man. He really brought such authenticity to the role that I could feel his character's platonic best friend love! Copter plays Kit just as brisk as Kit was ever meant to be. Tee was a very dependable and frankly funny Beam! And I gotta be real. Tae was much hotter than God and had a great chemistry with Bas. Tae acted Forth so perfectly you could just FEEL his interest in WaYo. And the dynamic between Kit and Beam was perfect!
The scene locations had a nice feel to them. Production values were solid! The scene dressing was very detailed, something I don't often comment on unless it was bad. Not so in this case. The music was cute.
The villainess was less awful than some, but wow, still just as awful as she needed to be. And the support characters were wonderful. The Fairy gang were splendid! And Bee Napat was just adorable!
This one wasn't deep or too terribly dramatic. It was kind of fun and had a predictable enough path that if you just needed a good time watch, this is THE thing to put on. It's very 'feel good' and tropy in a silly way that makes you giggle. It's too bad they never did a season 2 with this cast. I'd have eaten it right up!

You have to watch this at least once
There are people out there that didn't like this series or think its overdone, which maybe it is but personally I really enjoyed it, I think its actually rewatchable but here's my thoughts...Facility Moons & Stars - Personally ill any series that has to do with this troupe, I like seeing them go through the competition.
Pacing - I didn't mind the long drawn out scenes, I think it worked for this particular show, It showed us them going through the competition whilst seeing the two mains love flourish
Pha & Wayo - I thought there chemistry was good, they both played there characters well, Bas as Wayo was a good choice, I do think it was funny that Pha couldn't remember Wayo without glasses
Kit & Ming - I'm not a big fan of this couple, I like both Kit & Ming separately but I just didn't really care about them together, so much so on my second rewatch I skipped there parts
Beam & Fourth - I was kind of upset that we didn't get to see this couple because they teased it in the cut breaks but never showed us anything with these two,

The chemistry is great if I see them as bestfriends and slight bromance. umm! but romantically, it was kind of a little bit off [but I am not complaining bcz I don't prefer that much skinship].
P'pha's character is well portrayed too. He was kind of lost. I love the friend circle which made me stick to this drama tbh mostly.

A promising BL series hindered by lackluster lead performances
This series falls short of its potential, primarily due to lackluster lead performances that fail to ignite the necessary sparks. It fails to deliver a compelling portrayal of the central relationship and struggles to engage on an emotional level. The series follows the lives of 4 college students, each with their own unique personalities and aspirations. At its core, 2 Moons focuses on the evolving relationship between Wayo and Phana. Their journey is filled with ups and downs and you are taken on an emotional rollercoaster as they navigate the challenges of love, acceptance and personal growth.
Bas's portrayal of Wayo is disappointing and lacks depth and often comes across as wooden and unconvincing. His limited range of expressions fails to capture the nuances of Wayo's growth, resulting in lack of believability and emotional resonance.
Similarly Thanit's depiction of Phana fails to make a lasting impact. Due to lack of required intensity, he is unable to to show the character's internal conflicts and evolving feelings. And the most egregious part being that their walk-off the scene is always awkward like they are struggling to put one step ahead of the other. Also there is an utter lack of chemistry between the 2 leads making their interactions seem forced and the romance unbelievable.
While this series may have had the potential in terms of its storyline and supporting cast, the weak lead performances significantly hinder its overall quality. The result is a series that falls flat, struggling to engage viewers and leaving them longing for more compelling performances.

It was my baptismal Thai BL Drama and I didn't expect a lot from it but it left a special mark in my heart. :)
Story: The plot is not too complicated. Some people might find it difficult to get through some episodes because sometimes the pacing is too slow. It lacked in substance and it does not have major plot twist but the lightness, cuteness, and the fun aspect made up for it.
Acting: Other people might say that the actors were very awkward and stiff. Yes, I agree on some points but I think their awkwardness and stiffness brought something to the table making some scenes sweeter and cuter. The chemistry between Bas (Wayo) and God (Phana) was not really that hyped but it was enough.
Music: To be honest, the background music was all over the place. Like every scene had it even though sometimes it felt like it was not needed. However, their osts: แค่ได้เป็นคนสุดท้ายที่เธอคิดถึง by PAUSE, นับหนึ่งกันไหม by PCHY, and 1 2 3 4 5 I Love You by GIMME 5 are great and can give you a major LSS.
Rewatch Value: I would probably rewatch this series if I have more time.
Overall: If you want a not too dramatic, light, cute, and sweet Thai BL Drama then I recommend you this.
Just like what I told you, this was my first Thai BL Drama and I think it is definitely a good starter for anyone who is not familiar with the genre. I can also say that 2moons paved the way for Thai BL Drama to be recognized for wider audiences.
Now, order a pink milk and start watching this. :)

Super fun story to watch!
This is my first time writing a review here, so bear with me.A lot of the lower scoring reviews I read were comparing this to other BL dramas. Considering this is only the second BL I've ever finished, (the first one being 1000 stars) I don't have much to compare this to. I really enjoyed it. I thought the first episode started off pretty shaky, but I was completely hooked in by episode 3. While this didn't make me want to binge the same way 1000 stars did (I watched that whole series in one sitting), I found myself always looking forward to the next episode, and I often chose to watch it instead of doing any school work.
It might be my inexperience with BL dramas so far, but I thought the acting was fine. I found all the characters to be believable in every moment. The only big complaint I have is when a question would be asked, and there would be at least a 5 second delay where the characters just stared at each other before an answer was given, if an answer was even given at all (because sometimes there wasn't). But aside from that, I'm sure I'll rewatch this at some point in the future. If anything to see if this opinion still holds up after I've watched the BLs other reviewers have compared this to

I also really love this version of 2 Moons because it's just so to the T of the book, you know? Every scene I wanted to see from the book is here, and that's another reason I like this so much. I also love the actors who play P'Kit and Ming~
Everyone's so cute, and I hate them tbh XD
Honestly, though? If you get past the awkward dialogue at points (they really talked like that in the novel too, by the way; it's not just the show. I think they're just awkward people in general lol) and a mild amount of cheese, which is always good for the soul, this show is wonderful~
