´Sweet cliches but Cant help getting annoyed by the OST..
This is just such a sweet cliche fest... Sweet, fun, well paced and actually pretty interesting story with gorgeous scenery! This is probably the first time the OST actually made me remove stars from the drama, if you looooove Elvis it may add points, the title of the drama should probably have tipped me off so there is no one to blame but myself. I am pretty neutral towards Elvis and did not have anything against "I can´t help falling in love with you" but after hearing this song play for the 99999 time in less than 2 hrs I felt like muting it all... So be where.
Things I enjoyed, the chemistry, the fluff, the scenery and the slight well made presence of trans representation (very short but good) as well as the relationships, friendships and the way they showed different ways of controlling a person in a relationship without using physical violence.
The male lead is such a sweetheart, and though he did marry the fl while she was drunk he is actually pretty good with grasping the whole notion of consent thing and is very thoughtful.
The female lead is fun, bubbly, distressed and considering her situation she could have easily annoyed me but no, I could completely follow her thought process as well as her struggles with her situation.
So all in all a pretty decent movie.

Amazing movie to watch easily again and again!!!
This is the second movie from Philippines I have ever seen and I loved it too! This movie dealt with some serious issues such as controlling parents and partners and life-threatening sickness but in a brilliant way. It was a simple and cute movie when I chose to watch it, but it was a great one after I finished it.The movie shows how important it is to live your life for yourself and not the life others want you to live, because you never know when the end will come. Many times people try to protect us by controlling us, but they forget that everyone learns through their mistakes, so it is allowed to make some. We should live life without regrets, so mistakes are in the plan too.
Female lead was confused about which path she should take, but in the end she found her answer. The weird thing is that, while she was trying to get rid of her unwanted marriage, she was planning her real wedding with the help of the unwanted husband. If you think about it, it is weird, but this made her live the experiences other brides would have with their husbands-to-be, that she otherwise wouldn't have, because her husband-to-be was away. These experiences made them come closer and helped her see what her future with this man would seem like. I liked the way she fought for her freedom of choice at the end.
I would totally recommend this movie to everyone. It is appropriate for all ages too.

Live Your Life, Live Your Dreams!
This is the fourth Filipino film that I've now seen, and they're quickly winning me over and desiring more! I'm only concerned that I'll run out via Netflix, leaving me wondering how I'm going to watch some more."Crazy Beautiful You" was my first foray and with the same two delightful leads in Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. There's no denying their chemistry, which probably makes things much easier for them as they are a real-life couple. Their charm and obvious feelings permeate the screen. I also love the fact that neither one of them is afraid to show genuine emotion.
This go-around sees Gab, who has been with her boyfriend for 6 years. Finally, he proposes to her. Except that Gab has a problem: she's already married! To her dismay, she finds that after a drunken night, she has married Dos, a young man she met at the club.
Unlike America, where people can get divorces and/or annulments fairly easily, it is not so easy to do in the Phillippines. Gab finds herself having to track Dos down and get him to agree to a divorce. He agrees, as hilarity ensues as Gab tries to play out various "divorce reasons" to satisfy the court. Everything from impotence, insanity, homosexuality, etc. These will have you laughing out loud.
However, as one may predict, Gab and Dos start falling for each other as they attempt to track down the one witness they need to satisfy the divorce criteria. While the initial format is predictable, the way things play out is not. There are a couple of twists that I'm not sure anyone will see coming.
I was also pleased that the writer didn't fall for the overly-used "big climactic ending" that is so commonplace that they're actually boring. Instead, we get a true, legitimate ending that satisfies the story, the characters, and the viewer. And while I loved "Crazy Beautiful You," the ending of this film is done much better, in my opinion.
Another thing I love about these movies is that they have poignant messages. This film dares one to live your dream. Live your own life. No one, not even parents, have the right to control your life and tell you how to live it. And you can't be afraid to make mistakes. How else does one learn? How else does one realize what works and what doesn't work without mistakes?
Mary Tyler Moore once said, "Someone who has had nothing but perfect and wonderful experiences isn't very brave." It takes adversity to truly strengthen a person.
Parents and partners alike have one job: empower your children and empower your partner. Give them the space and freedom to be who they are. Control is never the answer. Control is about allowing someone else to live your life for you. Freedom is about allowing someone to live their own life. This movie dares you to do the latter.

for you romantic Junkie
need to fill the C letter in my 2024 Alphabet Movie Challenge. So I choose this. Haha.... Turn out to be one of the best romantic movie that I've watch this year...Story about Gabriela Benedictos Dela Cuesta (Gab). If MDL describe her as "close to perfect girl", my word is a woman who try to be the perfect one, perfect daughter for her mom, perfect girl for her boyfriend. That's make her have some hidden desire. One day Gab met Jose Ibarra Garcia Gonzales Jr. (Dos) in a friend wedding. They end up going to the after party & because of drunk, they get married.
That's when everything kinda not make sense. I don't know about Philippine law regarding married, but this marriage is even more chaotic than every Hollywood drunk married, cause Gab or Dos not even go to church or court house to make their marriage official. So I completely don't understand how they're legally married in the first place.
But anyhow...
Skip to 1 year later, since their married accident. Gab get proposed by her 6-year boyfriend & she accepted it. (But from the look at Gab face, we actually already know how that will end up.... Haha...) The next day Gab get a letter from the courthouse that stated that she's married to Dos. Gab try to dig her mind to remember the event. & thankfully Gab still have Dos number, so Gab contacted Dos to annul their married.
Now about Dos...
Dos falling in love at the first sight with Gab. But when Gab contacted him about their marriage he also shock. But regardless Dos agreed to meet Gab to talk about their married. Upon their meeting, Dos get to remember how pretty Gab is & he fall in love again with her. But anyhow, Gab still insisted that their marriage should be annul cause Gab want to married her boyfriend.
But of course this still a romantic movie right. So, with Gab & Dos start to be connected. That's evoke the hidden feeling in their heart. Gab also be awaken about the problem with her own relationship. But how this will end up in the end...? Will Gab receive Dos hand in marriage or will she free herself from all the relationship...?
That's pretty much about the movie. Now let's talk about what I like and don't.
What I like:
+ As usual, Kathryn Bernardo & Daniel Padilla chemistry never can go wrong
+ How to be honest with urself
What I don't like:
- To make everything romantic regardless any logic. Like the marriage of Gab & Dos
Overall this one of the perfect romance movie for you who are romance junkie
