ACTING/CAST: Shin Hye Sun - her acting was excellent, I liked her in Still 17 that was one of the reason I watched this show too. Kim Myung Soo - Well I am an INSPIRIT! So whatever drama they are going to come out I make sure I watched no matter what it is! Though I must confess Myung Soo-oppa's acting is very good, he is getting better and better at it. Keep up the good work!
MUSIC: Oh gosh, you guys had no idea but I had Oh my angel by Chai on repeat! The other OST's are very good too!
REWATCH VALUE: I will most definitely rewatch this drama!
OVERALL: 9/10 Great Story, great OST and Great CAST!

Idea for season 2.Hear me out its very cool
So how would it be if there is a sequel to this story.Yeon-soo gets pregnant of kim-dan's child(male/female) . The sequel will show the story for the child who will live as a human but gradually starts growing powers like wings. And the twist will be...a female/male angel will be sent for him as a mission. They will fall in love but the female/male angel would have no idea that the daughter/son of kim dan and yeon soo is actually born of an angel. The storyline would go more sideways as there could be drama like in the fisrt season. There can be cameos of kim dan and yeon soo being the father and mother.Unlike season 1 ,they can have a more happy ending where they could actually stay together as both are angels. This could a prize/an act of kindness from the deity to kimdan and yeon soo for their unconditional love .Reply and like if u agree.

After watching the first 4-5 double episodes I was thinking that Angel's Last Mission: Love is just a cheap imitation of Goblin. Many of the major themes in the show are essentially the same (reapers & angels are kind of the same too), which isn't bad, but the execution is worlds apart. I mean sure Shin Hye Sun's acting performance was out of this world good, but that was it. I was skipping scenes featuring sponsor board meetings(?) and I did not like all the stupid scheming and the asshole second lead character. I felt that L had the same acting teacher as Jinyoung and I don't mean that as a compliment. Many reviewers did not like the second part of the show, but to me the second half saved it. They've dialed down on the stupid Chaebol corporate bullshit and instead of meaningless scheming we proceeded with murder attempts that were a lot more interesting really. Also the second lead had much less screen time, which was a huge bonus. Even L's acting has improved, I felt genuinely touched at certain scenes. It was good romance, not much of a comedy though in the second half. At times I was even sitting at the edge of my seat. Sure the last 5 minutes did not make any sense, it is the same ending as Goblin's, but the context is different. "The Deity is cruel" should've been the main theme of the show, it makes very little sense that the Deity would change his mind like that, then again I'm a sucker for happy endings & a sloppy happy ending like this is still better than tragedy with the conclusion that love is not eternal, the person that survived should move on & forget everything.
(If I were the writer I would have went with exAngel asshole guy sacrificing himself to keep the balance for a more reasonable happy ending.. :P)
The OST does not have too many tracks, but 2-3 of them were really memorable. It's way way above average.
The cinematography was good, though the cinematographer really likes the composition form called "the tilt".
TLDR: Out of all the 50+ kdramas I've watched this is the most similar to Goblin, it's nowhere near on the same level, but it's well deserving of a watch & perhaps a rewatch .. (Shin Hye Sun should get an award..)

The series has the same story flow of "You who came from the stars" if you already watched the said series and liked it, it may turn up that you'll also going to love this one. As a new Kdrama lover, this plot may be unique for me since it involves mysterious beings being involve in a lovestory. I like how the story progresses which some of the reviews has said that the drama progress really slow. The first half of the series was all about comedy and being cute while the second half of the series turned into a tearjerker and intense which I really love. Aside from the main characters the supporting roles delivered such a wonderful effect for the drama. I would rate 10/10 when it comes to its music because it has that chill vibe. Overall 10/10!!

It took my heart away
You can this is a best romance drama ever, it's worth saying that.I watched this drama long ago but still I can remember the all feelings that I felt when I was watching this drama. Actually a fantasy romance exist in this drama, between a Angle and a human.
Story in Brief,
It's all start with the Angle who was supposed to do his last mission, There is a rule that an Angle shouldn't interface with human life , But somehow he interface with a girl's life and saved her life from an accident out of sad that he felt for her which he couldn't ignore. Then all started. His last mission was decided,
The funny fact is that the last mission was to make her love with a man, As you all know , You know all dramas following the same script when it comes to that kind of scenario, The angle fall in love with her when he was trying to fall for a man.
Then that's it, But the story keep going , You would say what a lame storyline, we will get really boring if we watch this, NOPE, you won't ger boring cause the story will take along with story line, how was them falling in love with each other, and the comedy scenes . But it'll get more and more interesting when it reaches to the end of the drama.
You'll have to get tissues to wipe out your tears,
TRAGIC ENDING?
No way in hell, if their was a tragic ending I'm not writing this review, it's too sad but they got their happy end what they should get.
So I really love the storyline, But It make me so sad at the last episodes but since it's a happy end, I moved on...
I REALLY HOPE YOU'LL WATCH THIS DRAMA...

If you are thinking whether you want to watch it or not. This one is for you.
Although I gave it a 10 /10 if I can provide it with my score, then it would be 1000000000000000000000000/10.I have watched many shows but this is the first review I have ever written and I want to say that "Angel Last Mission" holds a very special place in my heart. I watched it many times and it always moves my heart and the chemistry between the two main leads and the second male lead.
When it comes to the acting all of the cast members did a great job. But my favorite one would be Shin Hye Sun (the main female lead) who portrays Lee Yeon Seo. In the beginning, she acts as a blind person, but she does a great job expressing the feelings of the woman who went blind and lost her family. When she cried, not just my eyes and heart were crying that is just how much I was moved by her acting. Oooh let me jsut say how beautiful she is and I actually went on and watched a couple of her series.
Moving to the male main lead Kim Myng Soo, is portrayed as an Angel. This was the first series I watched him as a main lead and he became one of my fav main leads. I almost went on and bench-watched all of his series.
Why should you watch this ?
Beautiful acting ✔️
Beautiful love story ✔️
Beautiful OSTs ✔️ (i still listen to these OSTs )
Great direction and storytelling ✔️✔️
I almost forgot the outfits and styling is just 🥰🥰✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️
Emotion 😭😭✔️✔️
So what are you still doing here goo on watching the beautiful love story?

This drama is totally worth the watch! I enjoyed all the episodes! Lee Yunseo’s acting is literally professional, during one of the last few episodes where she was going to take those pills as a way to save Kim Dan, got me acting upppp!!! Because of how good the crying scene was, it felt so real and you can really tell they love eachother! Even though her character is strict and cocky I really believe that Kim Dan is the one for her, he changed her and made her realize how strong she really is, the plot of the story was very smart and I really enjoyed how Kim Dan did not make the wrong decision and let Lee Yunseo kill herself Was this review helpful to you?

This could have been the best drama of 2019. The first episodes were mind blowing: great acting, lovable characters (even Yeonseo) who had an interesting background, exciting plot (especially since angels are my favorite supernatural creature) and an amazing soundtrack. Unfortunately, the only thing that held up until the end of the drama was the amazing soundtrack. I liked every single one of the songs that played throughout the show. The rest of the elements simply didn't correspond to the expectations I had created during the first few episodes. However, I remained excited until the end though, wishing there was some kind of redemption and the plot they were wasting with Director Ji and Nina, those strange whispers that were always following the oldest sister and the crazy teacher would eventually have some space in the show. Not only were those stories wasted, the main story ended with more than 7 plot holes (that I noticed/could count). I'll give some examples: they didn't explain Dan's life as an angel (if he died when he was little, when he became an angel was he already a grown man? Did he simply wake up as an angel?); why did the Archangel and the elder man suffer God's punishment (as well as the director who lost his lover) but not the main couple?; Dan said that maybe his relationship with Yeonseo would also help the director somehow but ??? His goal in life was to put up a good Giselle performance?????; is the director immortal?; Why did the Archangel kill that man? HIS POWERS CAN DO ANYTHING!!!! HE COULD HAVE JUST LEFT HIM UNCONSCIOUS!etc etc
I honestly thought the sister was possessed or was a dark angel or something. And I also though the Director had more importance to the story other than to give some information that wasn't even that useful since they used the "Only God knows why" card every time.I was very disappointed.
And some characters were so lovable at first but then they lost a bit of their magic. I mean, do you want me to believe Dan, a literal angel, who saved abandoned dogs and protected a child from getting hit by a car, who is very smart and knows there are other ways to punish people, would try to kill someone??????????????????? Knowing that she was already being investigated?????????? Try again.
Never thought I'd say this but my favorite characters ended up being Butler Jung. At first her personality wasn't that good but in the end she proved she was like an older sister to Yeonseo.
So this is why I don't give this show a higher rating. But 8 stars isn't a bad rating at all then why am I even giving it such a good score when I pointed all the flaws in it? Well... the visuals were great...

This drama is a beautiful fantasy romance genre. Shin Hye Sun was amazing, how she portrayed at first what seemed arrogance, then sweetness sadness depression. She was really great at doing desperate Giselle. Kim Myung Soo was doing good too. The special effects were very beautiful, the soundtrack heartbreaking while it had to be. Keum Ru Na and Jin Su were frightning hh, the Hu Sunbae very funny. What bothered me was the religious part, I didn't like seeing God described as they did in the drama. Writing dramas then attributing, even if everybody knows it's just a drama, attributing facts to God, it made me unconfortable,
Happy about the end a 9.5 drama for me...

The premise is intriguing. But it's unclear who would want to stick with this. If you are a ballet lover, there's actually very little exposure to the craft and 'behind the scenes' of ballet. If you like family dramas with evil relatives, the 'villains' are exposed in the first few episodes and do not change their strategies or motivations some 20 episodes later. If you are intrigued by the the fantasy/supernatural elements, this world is not fully developed, explained or exposed.
What kept me watching is the angel's struggles with being human, and the lead ballerinas struggles getting back into ballet. But, this resolves some 20 episodes in - and then there was nothing left to keep watching. Indeed, the plot was being dragged on without exposing any new complexities in either plot or character development.
The acting of the two main leads is endearing and competent. Music has its atmospheric moments, but neither can make up for the plot.
The big philosophy questions of our existence are of course, why do bad things happen to innocent/good people? What causes a person to harm their friends, family and community? But 20 episodes in, I couldn't trust the writers to answer these questions in a way that I'd be happy with. I thought best to drop it, while I still have some fond memories of the earlier parts.

indeed a tearjerker!
it’s been a long time since I watched such an emotional tear-jerking drama. this drama was really heart-touching. let’s break down the aspects one by one & how it could have improved too:STORY: the story is very good. although no major modifications are needed in the story, I do think a few more elements should have been added to make it more entertaining. I loved the drama overall, but I would not deny and say that I didn’t force myself to get through a few episodes because of how boring it was getting. the starting was good, the ending was awesome, especially the last 3 episodes. I think the idea of them falling in love with each-other *gradually* wasn’t really well executed. it just happened suddenly, kind of. also, the genre also includes comedy, which was very little to zero. at first it did have funny stuff going on, which only lasted up until episode 5, I guess. overall the drama was good, though it should not be characterized as a rom-com because they really forgot to put the “com” here. the “rom” was satisfactory though. I personally liked the story.
ACTING: I have no words. shin hyesun has never not served and I never think twice before giving her a 10/10 for acting. kim myungsoo, despite being a kpop idol (as idols have a history of sucking at acting, exceptions excluded), acted so well. supporting actors were all good, no real complaints about acting.
SOUNDTRACK: the soundtrack was very good, some of the songs are on their way to become evergreen in my playlists.
OVERALL REVIEW: good, you should watch it if you’re into tearjerkers. and sacrificial love. and tongue kisses. personally I’m into all three of these so I liked the drama.
