I wasn’t that interested in watching this just because I wasn’t that familiar with the cast. However the premise sounded like it might make for a fun drama…

Story: Most of the plot is just the main female character trying to get this cold CEO to fall for her and marry. It would have been more dramatic if the fight over the hotel happened during instead of at the end. Also, the romance between the 1st main couple is slowly built with most of the relationship (falling in love, breakup/angst all happening towards the last few episodes. In between though there is a revenge arc going on to keep you interested because you will want to find out the details. I actually liked the romance between the 2nd leads more because their messy relationship pulled me in making me root for them. The ending brings a welcomed twist for one of the characters.

Acting/Cast: The 4 leads did a great job actingwise. However, the actress that played Hong Mi Mi really made her character stand out more than the other female lead. She made me hate her character at times but also feel sympathetic for her at other times. I also feel like she had the most character development. For the actress that played the main female character, while she was great, I feel like anyone could have played her part and probably better. Same goes for the second male lead. When it comes to the main male lead, I wish the writers had started his character development a little sooner because it made it hard to like him for most of the drama. The supporting cast did a super job of making their characters stand out and made a lot of the scenes so enjoyable.

Music- It wasn’t that memorable but I can think of one song I liked (they repeated it over and over again in the latter half) enough to listen to outside of the show.

Rewatch- While not a must watch again, I liked the story enough to watch sometime in the future.

Overall, Can Love Become Money is not perfect and probably won’t appeal to the masses but it has a lot of things that hardcore drama lovers like myself would find enjoyable.

I'll be honest, I watched this because of Yeon Jung Hoon, since he's an incredible actor and I thought that he'd make any drama worth watching. Was I right? Let's see...

The story is nothing unusual, although it's not taken in typical naivety of hurdling obvious scenes in a linear row, just to latch the main pairing to one another. In fact, the order is jumbled so it mostly wasn't annoying to watch.

Acting was really good, it felt very realistic to watch, but the crying scenes were done too excessively at times, though nothing too terrible.

Music isn't anything memorable for me here, but I have to admit that the opening song is damn good. I've enjoyed it every episode, so it felt weird not to skip the opening sequences like usually.

I don't think I would rewatch this, because there's but a few moments I might find interesting, and a mmv would suffice enough.

Why a seven? Despite the great acting, good atmosphere and somewhat comical scenes in the second half, it was just too long. The beginning took a lot from the rating of this drama, because first few episodes you'll drag through and when it finally becomes interesting enough, most of it will be done and you'll be left with a couple of episodes to watch. And that makes me angry, because this is a good drama and it should've been planned out a bit more carefully.

The first episode sets you up with the obvious twist on the heroine’s perception and you can just see what is going to happen next. Following the form of the Perils of Pauline, our heroine is threatened and pursued by the evil debt collector and soon finds herself entering a contract to get close to the CEO and marry him. Where the plot may be obvious the ride to get there is not. The main characters and the supporting characters add to a drama that has enough twists and complications to keep your interest. And you wonder how the relationships that are built on deception can survive and will all that was born of the past be resolved? And what then?

This is a good drama. The first few episodes are heavy on the comedy but then you start getting to know the characters, at first you can’t wait to see what will happen next, then you are in dread of what will happen next and finally how will it all turn out? All I can say after saying so much yet really nothing is Watch it, Enjoy it, it will leave a smile on your face.

So what did i think about can love become money?

In the beginning the drama didn't seem so good but it is kind of drama that more you watch more you find yourself enjoying watching it .

What really annoyed me in the beginning was the lead actress she was just not natural she was exagerating too much but the lead actor was just incredible and it is because of him that i didn't give up and i didn't regret it, the story was really beautiful:

A man that only trusted money accepted for the first time in his life to open his heart to two women . He acts all rough but he is really warm deep inside, he will learn that money is not everything in the world and no love cannot be bought by money .he was just an incredible actor and the sorty was beautiful ,the music was not that incredible but it was good.

Am i gonna watch it again ? no it is a good drama , with a beautiful and nice story and you will not regret watching it but it is just not that great and the potential of the script was not completely used a different leading actress would have made it better , she is not that bad but.....
Anyway watch it and you will understand what i am saying

Enjoy it :D

Super, super funny! Every scene with the dog was hysterical. This is definitely a comedy but in usual KDrama fashion, the inject the serious from time to time. After watching Yun Jung Hoon in Vampire Prosecutor, I was pleasantly surprised to see him in a comedic role. His cold, cool character was so strait-laced and neurotic, it was just fun to watch. Uhm Ji Won, I had seen and loved in The Woman Who Cannot Get Married and enjoyed in this role too. The ending was okay. This is definitely worth watching.

I think that this drama was worth watching.I think it was funny, it had me laughing and sometimes teary eyed. the only thing I can complain about is the music I didn't like it. The actors did a good job portraying their characters. Yun Jung hoon is the best, I liked him in vampire Prosecutor and he did well in this one. Him and Uhm Ji Won had a good chemistry in my opinion. I think who ever watches this would like it.

I would watch again.

first off, it is finally subtitled...few! that took forever O.O

I actually loved the plot. The lead actress quickly grew on me and became more beautiful as the story progressed. I loved, loved the In Tak character, lol, our leading man was a fun hot mess. Also his secretary was great fun.
I did watch it faithfully and enjoyed most of the episodes but I got pretty bored about episode 17 and skipped to episode 20...hence, my 7.

So if you want to see the Vampire Prosecutor in a different light, watch this.

P.S. the answer is no, and yes. :)

So much heart!

This is not a blockbuster by any stretch, in fact when I got to episode 4 I seriously considered dropping it, but I was compelled to keep watching; I think the combination of just the right mix of comedy, melodrama, romance and a generous touch of realistic human stories grabbed my attention, I watched to the end and was touched in the process.

The story is not groundbreaking ( birth secrets, corporate intrigues, revenge, impostors) but it's told in such a touching human way; a lot of the success of this drama is due to the actors / cast. The lead actor Yeon Jung Hoon is so good in this, he's consistent throughout and really played his character to perfection. The other cast members do hold their own, I especially enjoyed Chief Ha played by Shim Eun Jin, she is hilarious!

The romance is a slow burn so it feels very realistic, I just found it so sweet and sincere.

This drama is for sure under-rated and in my opinion deserves at least an 8 rating on MDL. Watch it if you want a warm, steady, logical viewing experience, no cliffhangers but a lot of heart.

I liked the song by As One: I'm Still In Love, its's catchy.

Overall 8 out of 10

I watched this drama for the first time just a little over a year ago. It was my second kdrama after Full House, and when I was watching it I just thought it was amazing
This is undoubtedly the most popular Korean drama of all time and I really don't know how many are going to agree with me, but this one's a classic
My rewatch value for this show is a solid 10 because I don't even remember the number of times I have rewtached it (lol). Love it. One of my favorites.

Okay...

Absolutely nothing special or new here, pure fluff but you would keep watching for the leads. Yeon Jung Hoon did a great job embodying his character and so did Uhm Ji Won . Speaking of the leads, why do they always kiss side ways? Too awkward.

Uhm Ji Won and Yeon Jung Hoon! What a couple, what a chemistry!

This is a classic, light, funny drama with a great roles of Uhm Ji Won and Yeon Jung Hoon. They create a special and amazing bond from the very first scene and the whole story is about them. They have sparkling dialogs, extravagant personalities, sweet scenes together.

The plot is a little bit complicated, there are a lot of cliché and tropes such a fake identity, cold and jerk male protagonist, revenge, intrigue to obtain the money… but leads play beside the plot and above the script. Her character is written as a dumb and irritating girl and his character as a selfish tyrant and jerk, BUT both of actors were able to make their characters lovable, funny and charming.
For the most part of drama (17 episodes) there is no clear romance but at the same time we are deeply engaged in their sweet relationship.

It was a pleasure to watch Uhm Ji Won and Yeon Jung Hoon. They have amazing skills. I highly recommend this drama, although some phones and outfits went already out of fashion.

Yeon Jung Hoon.. sigh.. je ne sais quoi !
This is a pleasant watch. I realized this was a re-watch for me 1/4 of the way in but it was good enough to continue for a second time. I happen to really like the male Yeon Jung Hoon lead in everything he does so I guess that played a factor as well. It's definitely not a boring watch. And as much as it's you're typical hardcore CEO vs hardluck Secretary RD they tried to put a different spin on the typical happy ending. You'll either like it or you won't. The ending isn't my favorite but it didn't detract from the drama at all.
