Oh uh..
You know, this season was hard to watch. I'm only giving this score because of TinCan (we are not gonna talk about those kiss scenes, let's be honest, not the best we've ever seen), but development of their characters is pretty good. But why, like why would you put 6 eps of recap. About Ae and Pete, uh, that's something else. Actually I wish this season was not even a thing. I didn't hate scenes with Ae crying, drinking etc, but it kinda got boring, cuz it lasted like how many eps? 3? 4? Also changing the part where Tin and Can don't know each other, but there we have Ae and Pete who broke up.This review is such a mess, like the series. Just finished and I don't really know how I feel about it. Like should I like it kinda, but also kinda hate it.
At the end of the day, it wasn't that bad (it was, but you know, let's not be too harsh). I just hope, like really hope we get a 3rd season. I would love to see Perth and Saint work together again.

It's rape, sexual assault, and incest my friends, not love.
Why does a story where men love men have to have so much sh*t in it. It couldn't be any sh*ttier honestly. Someone was RAPED and they make it a LOVE STORY. F*CK NO. Queer stories already have so much going against them, so WHY? And every relationship is toxic here. In addition to one relationship based on a rape, one relationship is incest, and the main relationship is abusive. In the main relationship, guy A often kisses guy B without his consent and after he's been told not to. That is sexual assault my friends, and if you're going to say "well, he wouldn't have gotten to kiss B any other way," then YES, GOOD. If the only way some one can kiss you is by doing it against your will, you should probably slap them, and if it continues, press assault charges. And the rest of their relationship is abusive in that guy A gets everything he wants out of guy B through manipulation and threats. It is not ok to break someone's phone to get their number, or any of the many manipulative things he does. Finally, guy A's actor is Homophobic. I don't know if they knew that when they cast him, but they certainly could figure it out as they put him in ...kissing scenes with another man. And you can tell. His acting at times seems fine, but other times, you feel kind of sick watching him. Almost if you can feel the feelings he's trying to suppress coming out when he's acting...gay.
I'm so disappointed. I want to say something like it could have been better, but not this. The very premise is based on sexual, assault, rape, and incest, do just write a new story please.

Lots of BL fans are disappointed I guarantee, this series is still worth watching
A lot of viewers are disappointed to what really happened to the second season of LBC, especially the first few episodes since they're going to retell the story of TinCan from the very beginning. Well, I'm one of them, but this step is a great move since Pete (Saint) is not included in the series, which is a big part on TinCan's relationship. I guarantee, this series will still give us something that's worth watching.P.S: I'm already done stating my opinion but this website requires 500 characters to make a review so the next part is nonsense, don't mind it and thank you for reading my review.

I thought it was OK, but not terrific. Lots of bad writing, editing, and directing.
Dislikes:I didn't like how they rehashed things so much in the beginning. And it wasn't even just filling in the blanks of their story from the first series, it was like an entirely different timeline. So it was repetitive. a bit boring, and at the same time confusing. Like I sorta have seen this before, but not really.
I wonder why they couldn't they have broke this into two parts. For the first 2-3 episodes they could have kept the same basic storyline from the first series, filled in a lot of backstory and even some new content about that time. They could have even used some footage from the first series. Then for the remainder of the 10 or so episodes, bring Ae back into the story, tell about the breakup, and move forward from there. It would have made more sense than the way this actually happened.
And there was just too much crying from Ae, I get he was heartbroken, but 11 or more episodes of him sobbing was a bit much. Poor Perth must have been dehydrated from all the crying! Again, this is mostly due to the way they altered the timeline. If they would have stuck to him being dumped starting in episode 3-4, it would have made more sense.
The Tum and Tar story didn't make sense either, they butchered that timeline as well. Poor Earth deserved a much larger part, he is such a good actor. I don't know why he agreed to do this series, I am not sure I would have if I was him. And such a weird ending to that story. We are supposed to ignore their other series now? Or did something happen in between times? This would have been a great way to "burn up" some time by filling us in here.
Likes:
The side couples were great! The Tul and Hin story was terrific! This couple and their story carried the show and I hope we get more from them in the future. Yacht and Sammy are always nice to see, they should have had a larger role. Same with the other side couples, liked seeing them, and they could have expanded their roles too.
I thought that Mean and Plan did a good job with their roles. Some have described them as stiff or maybe sort of awkward between each other. I thought that kind of fit the story though, Can was confused about things in the first series so I can see how he might be awkward (at least at first) with Tin hitting on him and being new to being loved by a boy and all that.
Conclusion:
If this would have been titled something else (not LBC2) it would have been a good story. But as a sequel, it did not quite fit with part one. And I think that is what makes this bad. The scriptwriter or the original author (not sure which) just did not do a good job tying these series together or creating a sequel. The director or editor could have done a much better job with the timeline and pacing of the story.
Overall it was just sort of sloppy and not well thought out. I did like watching it (I am a sucker for any Thai BL series), but it is one of those throwaway series that was good filler more than anything else. There was nothing remarkable either way about it, except the TulHin plot. If you can ignore the whole first series, I would have probably given this a 8.5. But as part 2, it is nowhere near that good.

An Enjoyable Watch
I put this one on hold for quite a while after reading all the bad comments and reviews, and now I can say that I regret it.I don't understand why people are complaining so much. Although "Love By Chance" is definitely better, "A Chance To Love" is good too.
I'm not sure why P'New decided to treat the second season just like "2 Moons", but it wasn't bad. If you have watched "2 Moons 2", you know that the first episodes is a recap of the first season and then it develops to what the viewers haven't seen. They did it because the whole cast changed. In this case, I guess P'New decided to do the same since Saint wasn't part of the cast but idk. However it wasn't bad because all what happened between TinCan in the first season is shown in the first 6 episodes of the second season. And to be fair, TinCan didn't have enough screen time in the first season, so their story was able to fit in those episodes and we even got a little more details.
The series starts with a cut that shows the continuation of the ending of the first season, and then they go back 3 months where they show you TinCan's story again. Their story is the only one that is having a recap, the others continue from the ending point of the first season. It can be a little confusing since they mixed the timelines, but you just have to imagine that you have never seen "LBC" and then all is good.
TinCan isn't a couple with a lot of troubles. The main problem was Tin not being able to trust people because of what his brother did, but that's it. Once he got over it, everything is set to go smooth and that's exactly what happened. We had enough of TinCan in my opinion, and I'm happy with it.
So basically you have to watch this second season as if everything is new. It's better if you forget about the first season, about the storylines, and everything in between while watching it. You don't really need to watch the first season in order to enjoy the second one, since they give you enough background information to know what happened with AePete and KlaTechno. The only confusing couple would be TumTar which, to be fair, I'm surprised of how the things ended up between them. This couple is the only one that has no background information and, if you don't know their story, you will probably feel lost. For the rest, you don't need to know anything beforehand.
P.S: Best kiss scene goes to TulHin. I wish they showed more about them.
Obviously I'm not able to praise the whole thing, because there is some stuff that I didn't like and that's why I consider "LBC" still better than "LBC2". So once I'm done with the praise, let's look at the complains.
DOWNSIDES:
- Ae's screen time is too much. His story was told in the first season, he should be a side character in this one. Yes, we know that he misses Pete but we don't need to see him sad for the whole thing. I would have preferred if they used half of Ae's screen time to get deeper into Tul and Hin's story. How did they meet, how did they fall in love, who confessed first, etc.
- The product placement is over the top. All Thai BLs have product placements, yes, but they don't spend 2 or 3 minutes talking about it and praising the "benefits". It's like you are watching a commercial instead of a series, so I ended up skipping the product placement parts.
- The fact that the actor portraying Tul is taller than Mean doesn't make him older. In fact, the actor who plays Tul has such a baby face that Tin looks like the older brother (and in real life, the actor is a year younger than Mean). I understand that they needed a young actor since he has his own love story and this is targeted to a young audience, but they could have picked someone who doesn't have such a baby face. Not complaining about his acting though, just the looks.
- I missed seeing Pond and ChaAim. Although her name is mentioned once letting us know that they are still dating, I would have loved to see a few scenes of them together.
- Can used to be an adorable, innocent, childish, and naive character. In this season he is more mature and smarter. He is still cute, but that adorableness from the first season is barely shown. I don't know if it was Plan's own decision or it was P'New, but that lovely charm that Can used to have is hard to find in this one. But I still liked his character, so it's not really complaining just... a little bit disappointed.
- They toned down KlaTechno's story A LOT. I don't care how they pretended to treat that incident, it was RAPE. And the way they addressed the whole thing + the development... ugh! It's a big no for me.
- Not sure what happened with TumTar. I'm still confused. As someone who has watched their story in "LBC" and "TharnType", I would have never expected that ending. I'm quite disappointed to be honest. And besides that, they only have like 5 minutes of screen time together in 13 episodes.
As you can see it has quite a lot of downsides, but I still think is not fair the amount of complains people are giving to it. It's not the staff's fault if you were expecting something different, it's your fault for setting those expectations. We all wanted to see the development of TinCan, and they gave us exactly what we wanted. If you think 7 episodes aren't enough, then maybe you don't really understand those characters. They never had ex-girlfriends, toxic parents, confused sexual orientation, nor all those other problems from other BLs. Their characters are simple, so they don't need many episodes to showcase their love story.
The acting was okay just like in the first season. None of them excelled but it wasn't bad. A couple actors were honestly horrible, but the rest did a decent job.
I loved to hear part of the OST from the first season and the new version of the theme song. It brings back memories.
I don't know if I will rewatch it again, but it's a possibility. I thought I wouldn't like TulHin's story since we all know what Tul did to Tin, yet I ended up wanting more about them. It's not gonna happen but I would love to see a spin-off of their story.

Better than expected
After reading so many negative reviews, I got really scared of watching and avoided this season for months. I watched LBC 1 while it was airing and it was an amazing experience. I truly think it was revolutionary when it comes to Thai BL shows. Therefore, I was super scared this season would ruin my positive opinion about this show. But to be honest, I didn't think it was as bad as people make it out to be.Let me start off by saying that there were definitely way too many ads (and consequently, many useless scenes) and the whole retelling thing was very weird since it was only done for TinCan and not the other characters.
I think Season 2 tackles many important issues and deals with sensitive topics quite well. It seems like a more mature plot and development of characters and relationships, which was nice.
Also, I noticed Tin was much more... calm? polite? in this season but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing at all. The other characters didn't seem much different from the first season. The characters they added in this season were all good, in my opinion. I loved getting to know Tul and his story, even if it was a love-hate relationship LOL but he's so fine... ugh couldn't they have casted a less angelic person to play his role?? Meen became my new addiction hahaha... please send help.
I like the main couple's chemistry but their kiss scenes were deplorable. I skipped most of them because it was awkward to watch. But surprisingly, there were other intimate moments apart from the kiss scenes that I really enjoyed! The "boyfriends being supportive" scenes were really well done. I don't think they're awkward with each other all that much.
I really enjoy Mean as an actor but sometimes I felt he was being way too seductive all the time haha but that's probably the directing and screen writing's fault. Plan is just... so bad... I'm so sorry to say this and no hate towards him but I don't see him as an actor AT ALL. So awkward... I feel like other actors have improved from season 1 but he just stayed bad. His character is already cringy and immature as it is but his acting just made it unpleasant to watch in most scenes, specially when Can was upset or crying. But I did like his acting when Can would stand up for Tin.
I saw many comments complaining about Ae's "useless" appearances but they were some of my favourite parts of the show. I even liked Ae's desperate scenes!! Perth is as amazing actor so I felt every emotion he was feeling. I feel like as I was watching LBC1 I took him and Saint for granted after the first two thirds of the show and was more interested in the other couples. But this season made me realise how important they were to the story and the universe of LBC. Their chemistry and acting are unbeatable.I love AePete so much hahaha my heart was broken yet warm throughout the season.
I liked the new songs! They reminded me a lot of season 1's ost but were different so that was nice.
Now, I will get into some SPOILERS!! SKIP THIS IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPOILERS.
Lots of things about the plot were confusing (Tum and Tar's relationship????what happened???move on????why????). But I liked Tum's friend! He was cute and nice LOL. And then Techno and Kengkla didn't have the screen time they should have had to make their relationship believable. I can accept the fact that P'No forgave Kengkla (it's his choice after all) but their scenes were too vague for me. What I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I did was Tul and Hin's story! I was invested until the end. I really liked the beach scene in the last episode with the three of them hugging. However, I wish Tin and Tul had talked things out in a serious conversation and officially made up and screamed at each other and then hugged or came to a more concrete conclusion but oh well, I guess I can never have everything.
P.S: I don't mind Saint not being in it all that much because AePete's story was closed in a satisfying way. And I understand Saint's situation ):
Summing up, I was glad I went into it with very low expectations because I ended up liking it more than I probably would have had had I watched it thinking it would be a perfect sequel. It wasn't but I had fun and discovered new characters and actors. I wish there was a season 3!

Wasn´t Good. It looks like there is a season 3......(maybe)
2/10 dropped, disappointed.Negative:
1. I've been waiting all this time for them to finally kiss and fall into each other's arms...but every time I was disappointed. This already started in the 1st season......This has disappointed me very much.
2. That the maincouple(AexPete) from season1 is no longer together in the second season...which I can't understand at all. They belonged together. You don't separate a couple like that! Never!
It's terrible when someone has to suffer so much.
3. The Hairstyles of TinxCan are not the same as in the first season. There it looked more fitting.
4. Can just doesn't dare to kiss Tin. That was really annoying. It's a pity that they didn't kiss each other this season. And every time Tin kisses Can, Can says: Are you crazy. It was so annoying. It was very disappointing.
5. That Tin's brother interferes in Tin and Pete's relationship and wants to break them up. The brother of ? is really a devil. It was unbearable to watch!
Positive:
1. It's nice that Can believes his friend more than his friend's brother.
2. Acting was good.

I've only been watching Thai BLs for a short time and some are wonderful and others are most definitely not, this is one of those. They love cashing in on their sequels or placing the same actor couples in multiple films and their sledgehammer product placements and I get all that, its a business, they are ultimately their to make money. But.... but... just because the first one was popular isn't a good enough reason to make another especially if the script sucks and the main actor has no desire to be in it I only recently was made aware of the public battle of the managers of Saint and Perth and how this totally unprofessional what seems like p***ing match destroyed the future of this franchise. But honestly this film should definitely not have been made... its an insulting disaster to any fan of the original. Dumping the Saint (main actor) because of petty squabbles and have Perth's character moan and weep and be a douche in every episode did not help the actor one iota, no wonder he wants out of the BL universe. But the worst sin was to rewrite the Can/Tin storyline, I mean that was unforgivable. I never believed in them as a couple, they don't work in my opinion. Honestly only watch this if you are desperate or else just forget it ever existed in the first place and enjoy the first series as a standalone. Was this review helpful to you?

Happy Ending to everyone, beside that the season 1 & 2 not related
Amazing! Season 1 and 2 are not related. But I really LOVE it, finally Tin&Can happy together uwuAnd finally Ae happy again, because Pete is back T.T
And the music. Plus point because of the muusic. I am in love with the music. awww The opening music was just perfect omg!
BTW i don't know why some people don't like this season, personally I love it.
We finally know what happening everyone in this series.
An plus pont to the series because it's happy ending. and who hates happy ending (; am I right?
Story: Mame wanted to make Tin a bit soft towards Can because Tin in the season 1 was really heartless.
Also Mame wanted to show the story of Tul too, regarding Kengla and Techno, Kengla had Techno's consent during their "intercourse" He was awake during that whole time.
In my opinion its okay if Mame did this. Tul&Kengla also deserve the love and Tin&Can too.
The actors performed really well. Though Ae was crying for quite a lot and he was sad about Pete, but you'll see he will be fine finally, just watch it carefully.
The actor who has Tin character, he alsoalso had bit problem with performing at the first, but after when he solve it, after then everything was perfect.
Rewatch value: Why not? I am hundred percent going to watch it again. I loved this series as much as love by chance 1.
Overall review: Amazing. I really enjoyable. Please guys don't listen to those who say it was bad . just go and watch!
I am sure you won't regret it. I nearly didn't watch because all of those comments but I am glad I did because this is a really good show. (One more time season 1 and 2 are not related, Mame rewrote everything.)
And at the last thing is what I want to say I just want to say thank you for the directors and to the cast and to the stuff, thank you for working hard <3

A LITTLE BIT DISAPPOINTING
Alright so im just going to say it. It's an average drama for 2nd SEASON. I mean the first season is amazing but us fans are complaining because we didn't get enough TinCan couple and New granted our wish but unfortunately i feel like something is missing in this drama. I feel like Can lost it's personality and Tin open up to Can too fast and too much. I feel like Can was suppose to be in denial about his feelings with Tin just like in 1st season but however Can quickly realised that he fell for Tin and i feel like "Aw, Can wasn't suppose to be a softie tho". And yes, they spend half of the episodes to just recap stupid shit. And i feel like they include Aae as a pity part eventhough it's not necessary but they include him.BUT THE KISS SCENE IS LEGIT UGHHHJHH. But i feel like Can just got bought by Tin because everytime TIn buy him food, he is ready to spread his legs for Tin HUHUUHUHUHUH <3 . Well anyway, the acting is marvelous. Mean ( Tin) is so good at acting and i feel like his acting is a new level of them, he could play a lot of roles, one moment he is a cheerful, friendly puppy, the second he is a cold hearted motherfucker. The nsfw scene is all good tho it's just that i feel like they mainly focusing on TinCan until i have no fucking idea what happened to other couples. XD.
Overall, i think this drama is not that awful. just a little bit disappointing. but still good tho. I only watch them because of Mean. LMAO.

Not sure why a lot of people are being so critical of Means performance I think the character was acted the same way as the first season. I didn't particularly like that the story between Tin and Can was retold. It really takes away from how impactful the shower scene was in the first season considering the reason he was crying was completely different. I'm not really sure why they decided to retell the story instead of picking up where S1 left off. I also did not like the amount of screen time that was given AE because all he did the whole season was mope around.
