This drama started off good and progressed so beautifully. There wasn't a boring episode. The right mix of comedy and drama with a good story line. We even got some hints of romance.

Then it happened. There was a storm hit or an earthquake or some radiation leak or some kind of cosmic unconscious thing happened that some how messed with the brains of the writers that made them **** up (insert various curse words here) the drama at exactly episode 35. That is where the BS began. This drama went left. So left it fell of a cliff..ugh i'm so mad the writers messed the whole thing up.

The romance between the main characters Monghee and her love life totally was just turned upside down, punt in a blender, pureed, frozen and thrown out to sea. That's how bizarre her story was. Don't even get me started on the 180 half the characters made. The only saving grace for this drama is the story of the youngest brother. I can't put my finger on what exactly happened but if you are going to embark n this journey good luck.

I for one am not happy with the way it turned out. I don't think i have cursed so much at the ending of a drama and i saw When a Man Loves (that says a lot). That ending made me puke ugh I need the 50+ hrs i invested in this drama back.

In other words DON'T DO IT.

I have a love/hate relationship with this drama. The story is all over the place. I can't even begin to tell you how messed up it is. The GREAT scenes are with Hyun Tae and Mong Hyun's story line. I enjoyed it the most. Mong Hee's story line turns into a nightmare. ALL of the moms except Hyun Soo's mom are CRAZY and EVIL. How they ended it with them ticked me off. Hyun Joon's story line is just sad. I ended feeling like he struggled the most because some of his earlier actions were against his true character and because of his mom and wife. OOOOHHHH...Sung Eun gives me the creeps. Hyun Soo's story line is also strange. I won't go into how much I disliked how they handled some of it. I guess they thought a time jump was enough. I liked Yoona's character the most and she isn't even in it much. The grandmothers are boring as all get out and to tell the truth I ended up skipping most of their story line. I didn't miss anything by doing so. Mong Kui's story line is barely there, but it doesn't suck. I really like Yoona and Hyun Soo's mom interaction toward the end of the drama. I can't post spoilers or I could write all day about this drama. I can't say it was horrible, because there are some great and precious moments. I ended up with mixed emotions.

This cast is great. It is really too bad they ended up in this drama. I wasn't disappointed in the acting. Han Ji Hye is the main reason I watched this, because I loved her in May Queen. I think she did well playing two different characters as Mong Hee and Yoona. Then of course there is Yeon Jung Hoon as Hyun Soo, Lee Tae Sung (I loved him in Rooftop Prince) as Hyun Joon and Park Seo Joon and Hyun Tae. All very good looking men and excellent actors. Very yummy!!! Baek Jin Hee as Mong Hyun is too cute. All the veteran women actress also did well playing the crazy moms. I really disliked them and I think that is a huge credit to their acting abilities.

There is some good music in this.

I don't know if you could pay me to rewatch this.

I would not recommend this. It is only my second 50 episode family drama. It isn't so bad that I wish I had my time back, because I'm glad I got to see some of the actors and some of the cute story line. If I were you, I would read the recaps that people have written to find where the cute parts are and just watch those. :-)

This drama ruined my everything as far as watching family drama again any time soon...

the drama had so much potential to succeed and ended all so different, I don’t know when was the point where everything started to fall apart and instead of moving forward with the plot the writers chose to do nothing.
I'm sorry for the cast who chose to star in this drama, I hope for them it would only lead to other better things.

this was the first drama that i saw that the lead actress ended up alone and the villain got the better side of the deal, like WTF!?

This drama started out great. I really enjoyed the first 40 episodes and then it all went to CRAP!! They completely changed the direction of the storyline which made the last FORTY episodes a HUGE waste of my time! I am so disappointed in the writers that I can't bring myself to watch the last 4 episodes. I've never had a drama disappoint me so much. Would NOT recommend you try this drama. You'll only find yourself angry like the rest of us once you get to the last 10 episodes and when it's 50 episodes long, that's a lot of wasted time.

I'm surprised to see this drama got 7 rating. It started so well and promising but went downhill in the mid part of the story. In the last few episodes, the main character Mong Hee suddenly was out of the picture. I feel like she became the loser of them all at the end. The writers were at lost on how to untangle the tangled triangle romance they created. Also, even though this drama is not base from a real life, the legal issues of the crimes should have still been applied. All I can say is, this is a 50 EXCRUCIATING episodes with the worst ending ever in all dramas I've watched. It seems like they brainstormed this story over Soju or while they were at the karaoke bar. Now I can't decide which one is in my bottom list.. this drama or Her Legend. Both of these 2 dramas wasted my time.

The promise of the first 5 or so episodes has kept me going, but I've dropped the show twice already. The beginning of the show focused on the differences between the middle class and super rich, and the struggles common people face as they try to advance in a hierarchical society. It was a very interesting idea, well executed, and I would give the first few episodes a 9.

As the show goes on, all the interesting plotlines disappear, and the show's sole focus becomes petty family arguments. The reason I have dropped the show twice is because the way this show portrays women has made me uncomfortable and angry. All of the "good" characters are totally spineless women who will subject themselves to all manner of abuse at the hands of men and in-laws without any resistance at all. All of the show's villains are cunning, mischievous women. Even when men do horrible things in the show, it is revealed that their evil women pushed them to behave that way.

The second half is about to start, so I am hoping that it resumes focus on something other than poorly-written cat fighting. However, you should know that the first half, and especially episodes 10-24 can be really hard to stomach.

This show was truly infuriating! It started out with promise and I was enjoying it but my gosh, like others have said, the showing made a 180 in the plot (btw, sorry for the long review. I don't have anyone else to discuss with, lol).
By the end, I felt so bad for Monghee. Though she became successful as a designer, she still seems pitiful and very lonely. I must say though that I actually like that they didn't put her with Hyun Soo and allowed him to reconcile with his wife. It made me angry though that she kept being a doormat for everyone!
Monghee's mother was among the most disgusting characters for me. To say she started out so humble but became a total monster toward the end was unbelievable. Her attitude toward Monghee was mind-blowing. To try and brush off the contribution that she willingly made to that family was hurtful to me. It was okay for Monghee to sell on the street but too good for her son? Wowwwwoowowowow! But yet she says she loves her like she was her own daughter? Absolutely not true. Then she had the nerve to judge Mong Kyu's girlfriend off the bat like she doesn't remember that she too married against her mother in law's wishes and had a trash background. How cruel of her to judge that girl because she was raised in an orphanage! Especially when you see how kind and eager to please she was. To be so openly disapproving of her like she was in a position to judge! She must have totally forgotten the mess she got her family into when she married her daughter off to a rich family, then she turned right back around and tried to marry above her means for the son as well! And what made me the angriest is that no one really gave her a major check about her behavior. Did she ever really realize the err of her ways?
The stepmother is another one who infuriated me. She is just a home-wrecking wh#(@ who stuck around for years but has the nastiest attitude and somehow thinks her son deserves the world over all his other kids. How could the father have not put his foot down regarding her when he saw how sneaky she was? I wanted to like him but then, ugh. Her scheming and conniving ways should have had a bigger consequence for her. I also didn't think the Sung Eun deserved a happy ending either.
I hated that they allowed the nastiest characters to have a happy ending. They all deserved to suffer in unimaginable ways. The little taste of anguish that they got was not enough.
I would not watch this show again. To have to sit through 50 episodes of this to be left with this horrible ending was almost cruel.

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! I should have listened to all the comments, but i wondered and said "no, haha how bad can something end", OH MY LORD, WAT CRAAAPPPP!!!!!!!, If they wanted such an ending They would have started it from ep 32, OH how will i get back those wasted hours, someone give me a time machine PLZZZ ANYONE!!!, 50 eps?, oh! thank god i skipped scenes.spoilers ahead....

-Even with such a great cast and good acting, this Drama sucked, seriously it could have been summed up in three eps, I mean why go through all that necessary romance, this drama had no point
-did i forget to say ,the mainlead was changed hahaha :(, should i smile,or get angry?? this writer sucks.....
Actually this Drama would have been fine had they written it with care, its like the writer passed out at around ep 42 then woke up and continued a totally different drama, with similar names and a slightly similar story, because suddenly it rained love and people realised they loved each other. if not someone explain how this could happen , and here i thought fashion king had the worst end

Ew...

This drama is the definition of scam. I would rather be robbed and slapped on the face in broad daylight! The viewers, the characters, the production team and staff all were scammed blatantly by the writer. The writer did an identical move of the exact scam with her other drama "A Good Supper (2021)". Seems to have a good track record in scamming. The drama in general was scuffed including the earlier parts. The stinkiness began as early as episode 3. I hope Han Ji Hye can pick up better projects in the future. The last project she did that was actually good was "Sweet 18 (2004)" from 19 years ago!

I actually really liked the first 40 episodes but then it felt like the writers all quit and they had people off the street start to write the scripts. Every character started acting completly different and it just felt horrible having to sit through an episode. If it had ended at 40 I would have given this drama and 8 or 9 overall but because of the awfull last episodes I give it a 4. I am actually dropping it at 48 episodes since there is nothing they can do to make this show end all right. The end SUCKS.

OK- MBS is competing for worst females possible! This show pulls the nails out on MiL & families from hell. 3 kids with three different baby mamas living under this alien looking pseudo-mom who is cultivating an evil plan for domination of hellhouse/mansion. All the while a middleclass wanna-be sold her youngest for bragging rights status, simultaneously snipping her mans goodies! The painful part is seeing the ever sexy-brooding YJH role as a beaten down shell of man - the male CW from 100YR. I started this series hesitantly looking at 50 ep- eek. The theme reminds me of SubPrincess- sadly it lost my interest with a cast of whinney characters & weak acting. I can only hope, does not loose me along the way while watching evil females competing for 2013WHYIGOTTABESOMEMEAN award - dang lots of competition in Kdrama land.
Look for more of my comments and thanks for reading, hope this helps!
