It is really impossible to write a review for this drama without getting my blood pressure up. The people that waited week after week for this drama will truly understand my pain.

All the writers of this drama need to be under some kind of witness protection program because they have succeeded in angering so many people including myself that had to sit through 20 eps of this BS. This drama was written under the influence of some serious narcotics.

The acting gets a 9 because they did a good job of conveying the foolishness the writers were spilling out.

Trying not to give away any spoilers, I'm a strong believer of the saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you". Well in this drama there's a lot of biting and chewing and an attempt to amputate the hand that was doing the feeding.

In this drama you get to witness ungratefulness at it's max and decisions that make you question the way some men think.

The drama was good and cute up until about episode 10 when the writers decided to play "how far can we piss off the viewers". In all honesty, the drama could have been done in 16 episodes or better still 10 episodes.

We could have done without all the crap from ep 11 to 19 and 20.
The only take a way is the OST. There are some really good songs in this drama....The drama had some good potential that was played with.

If you want to sit through this be my guest but make sure to drop by for an "I TOLD YOU SO".

Writing this without spoilers was seriously challenging....off to take my blood pressure meds

This drama started off good and progressed so beautifully. There wasn't a boring episode. The right mix of comedy and drama with a good story line. We even got some hints of romance.

Then it happened. There was a storm hit or an earthquake or some radiation leak or some kind of cosmic unconscious thing happened that some how messed with the brains of the writers that made them **** up (insert various curse words here) the drama at exactly episode 35. That is where the BS began. This drama went left. So left it fell of a cliff..ugh i'm so mad the writers messed the whole thing up.

The romance between the main characters Monghee and her love life totally was just turned upside down, punt in a blender, pureed, frozen and thrown out to sea. That's how bizarre her story was. Don't even get me started on the 180 half the characters made. The only saving grace for this drama is the story of the youngest brother. I can't put my finger on what exactly happened but if you are going to embark n this journey good luck.

I for one am not happy with the way it turned out. I don't think i have cursed so much at the ending of a drama and i saw When a Man Loves (that says a lot). That ending made me puke ugh I need the 50+ hrs i invested in this drama back.

In other words DON'T DO IT.

This is one drama i could watch over and over again. Loved it from the beginning to the end. Each episode has a way of making you crave the next one. The OST ughhh mega love especially the one by nell. Definitely one for the playlist.

Not big on the romance because it seems like it was put in as kind of an after thought, regardless of that fact i enjoyed every moment of it. The main story is about the dad and his daughter. Prepare yourself for some cuteness and some fighting.

Overall this was a good drama Lee Jun Ki did it again in my book. Definitely recommend this. The ending was not perfect but it was satisfying.

This drama , this drama, this drama...i really do not know where to start without giving away spoilers. I laughed, cried, got angry, laughed some more and had a good ending with this one. It was a fun ride.

I was expecting it to follow the Japanese version which would have pissed me off but the twist in this Korean version worked out perfectly. The revenge part was so deliciously good.

Have you ever had one of those dramas where you feel like the writers are in your head and the characters are doing what you want them to do and better?? Well this was it for me. 20 eps i throughly enjoyed.

The actors did and awesome job especially the kids talk about cuteness overload. I don't remember the last review i wrote praising a drama, very rare occurrence. This one definitely was a great run. Hope you have as much fun as i did watching it. The OST is one for the playlist too.

I will rewatch this again. Probably use it to get a friend hooked on dramas.

I love LJK to death but this foine man could not save this drama. At the final episode all i could do was breathe a sigh of relief. The story was lost somewhere in the middle and ended up being dragged to nowhere. If you already started it and are stuck in the middle you might as well skip to the last 2 eps and save yourself the torture.

JUST DON'T DO IT. First of all they made the very big mistake of airing this along side Kill Me, Heal Me (brilliant drama btw). Secondly the writing made absolutely no sense what to ever. 85% of the drama was spent chasing a freaking criminal that could have been caught by ep 4 then you factor in the very annoying a female lead that pisses you off with every move she makes. then the other 15% was just pure bullshitry for the lack of a better word.

The drama was doomed to fail from the beginning. As it progressed the episodes got harder and harder to sit through and by episode 15 i was at my wits end with it. The 2 characters being played by Hyun Bin were annoying too. I don't think there was a likable character in this drama.

The acting made me want shed tears. It was that horrible ugh.
writing= 0
acting = -2
characters= -10
waste of time= PRICELESS (I WANT MY TIME BACK)

Final thought is that this is yet another drama that was a complete waste of time....And im a fan or Hyun Bin

So after sitting through all 20 episodes and waiting each week for new eps all i have to say is wow. The ending was funny to me but at the same time i kinda got it.

This drama started off slow and corny but it was cute and i stuck with it then around the 5th ep it picked up and wow. It got so good that i couldn't wait for the next week to come around to see the new eps. The acting was really good and the cinematography was excellent.

I have to commend No Min Woo's acting in this drama. Now my love for him is no secret but his acting here made me second guess my love on a serious note. Talk about evil, psychotic and delusional. He was all of that and then some. When an actor can make you love and hate them that's an A+.

So should you watch this drama?? Yes if you like dramas with a barely there romance plot, greed and revenge because the story made sense and the OST is good too. The story makes you come back for more but the ending is open ended.

I think the writers want the viewers to fill in the rest on their own. So to some the ending might not give that closure and for some people might be that "Oh.... Okay????" ending.

Nonetheless i liked the drama but will not be re watching it because it is one of those dramas that you can only watch once and move on.

I want my money and time back.. This was a total waste of my time. The lead female actress killed my vibe with a dull knife. Her acting was the most irritating one ever and i saw "When a man's i love".

The story lost meaning after episode 4, then we went through the whole process of shipping what would be an awesome couple just to end it on some foolish nonsensical note. Am i mad...the hell i am. The writers and casting directors need serious psychiatric evaluation.

I should have listened to my gut and dropped it when i had the chance. I held on for hope...... well that was a bust UGH

Okay, so you know how when you are watching some dramas and there are so many parts that you skip through and at the end you are like okay i should have stopped at episode 5 and skipped to the end???

Well this is so not it. I swear i watched every last second of this drama because it was so good. You forget that these are men in their 40's and you just fall in love with all of them and the whole cast. It was so funny and at the same time there were some serious parts too. While watching this i dont know what it is but you feel the emotions of all the characters. May be i was too invested in it or it was just that good. I would definitely re-watch this and if i can i totally have to own a copy of it.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? WATCH IT.......IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. BEST DRAMA CHOICE I MADE THIS WEE. (and yes i am yelling cos it's that good....lol)

I just wish this drama didn't have to end. The perfection that is this drama cannot be expressed in words. Every emotion the characters go through is felt by the viewer and you just can't stop with one ep. All the laughter and tears and anger and the friendships.........all i can say is WATCH THE DAMN DRAMA.

From the OST to the actors.. this drama delivered life everlasting.

This writer has forever messed with my life and i say thank you very gamsa to them. This is one you will not regret watching

I really dont know how i went so long without seeing this drama. I can honestly say i have a different attitude now towards k-dramas. This drama has managed to work it's way into my soul.

It's so deep that i cannot find the words to describe it. After avoiding it for months because it was too long. I kept thinking 28 episodes really?? how on earth am i supposed to keep watching all of that when i can barely make it though 16 episodes. The only other drama that kept me hooked was A Gentleman's Dignity. All the episodes are so captivating and interesting and ou keep wanting to findout what happens next.

So back to GAKSITAL, my friend told me to watch it and i finally gave in. I f you are thinking of watching it go for it. It will stay with you for a while. And you'll just fall in love with the lead.

Best decision drama wise. Have fun

From the casting, to the acting , to the story...... I can honestly say i fell in love with this from the very beginning. The actors really conveyed the emotions of each character so well i almost forgot they were fictional characters. There were fun and airy parts and then there were serious parts that reming you that it's a melodrama.

Best couple pairing ever in my drama history. There weren't any dull moments in this show. Definitely have to watch it again. The ost is pretty goot too if you are into the slow mood music. (loved it)

Okay this is the best Saeguk i have seen since princess man and i'm not a fan of historical dramas. From the plot to the acting to the music to the everything...Oh Lord have i ever loved a drama more.

Now there are some people that do not like Jang Ok Jung but i for one love her to bits and all her actions in this drama have been justified and if i were in her shoes i would have done worse. Just Saying.

All the actors are doing a good job from the annoying ones to the ones we love oh so much.

Yoo Ah In is one awesome king. The authority he exudes is beyond comprehension. He makes being a king look good. Even if he were a bad king i wouldn't be mad at him.

Queen In Hyun well can't say much about her because i cant stand her big head ughhh she annoys me.

Ok Jung and the King ...the way the eps are progressing Daebak. The only problem i have with this drama is that everything was nice up until ep 20 after that i started seeing red. Why couldn't the writers lie to me, and make the story all fluffy and extra awesome.

Still a good drama just wouldn't watch it again. Too many feels

So far the drama has been good and awesome and funny as hell. The main guy has cried so much i thing it;s more than i have in my life time. The story line is just okay. The ending??? just not hoping for the best so far. I would recommend this cos it's really funny. I didn't expect the comedic level at all. It's so good i got my sister to start watching it with me and she doesn't do k dramas.

So, if you are going to watch this drama i'd suggest you stop at episode 13 or 14 just for the comedy and the fun parts because after that you'd be pissed.
