To be honest, I didn't start watching this series with high expectations and at first I put it at a 7 star rating JUST because of how IMPRESSED I was was the actors ability to finish this show without having a cringe stroke. Like, it was a very hard watch, but if I were an actor I wouldn't be able to pull this off without dying of laughter at every line. Therefore, this is the only thing that actually deserves a good rating.Moving on to plot. There is no plot :))))) ( ok, there is SOME try hard to be interesting and dramatic plot, but you don't go into this series for it :))))) ). Although, I give them a big highfive on actually doing extended research on the omegaverse. This could be called a documentary rather than "a series", cause they really explain things a lot :))))
P.S.; can we actually beg the actors to take on shows with LESS "se*ual activity"? It gets to a point in both of their series :))) And I feel like they truly waste their potential.

It just kept getting worse
Every episode was worst than the last. And there was a solid 5-10 minutes in every single episode that was completely unnecessary. Nakhin gave the same speech about Ongsa 6 times. the divorce scene was unnecessary, the mother's talking was unnecessary. one second they said Phatsa was strong with good instincts and the next he was weak and whiny. They clearly relied heavily on shock factor with this series. The show had potential, but instead they released trash. and so much of it seemed stiff. mflow needs better workshops. rewatch value is actual 0Was this review helpful to you?
A mess
At first I thought it was a weird script. Then weird editing. But no, this show was just a mess from beginning to end. It felt like a class project rather than a professional TV show. Awkward blocking, clunky dialogue, random characters appearing and vanishing. The "plot" was less than paper thin. Repeated conversations that went on and on. A wide angle lens for every shot whether it needed one or not. I wish Boat & Oat a sparkling career, but everyone who had decision-making power on this show and went "well, that's as good as it's going to be" and let it go to air needs to seriously reconsider their profession.Was this review helpful to you?
Catastrophe of the year
What in the nonsense Omegaverse was that? The first episode was so good, but it went downhill right after Nakhun bit Phat. How are you going to bite someone like that and then use the excuse "I couldn't control myself"? What about Phat? They stuffed the show with so much unnecessary filler that the plot completely disappeared. Alphas were out here hand-to-hand fighting without using their pheromones and running away from people with guns... like, WHAT? Isn't this supposed to be an Omegaverse? Nakhun was ready to choke out that doctor with his pheromones, but where was that energy when he was fighting actual enemies? (Pure nonsense 😂). It pisses me off because I had high expectations and was so ready to love it. NC scenes cannot save a bad script without a real plot, those scenes weren’t even enjoyable especially the main couple NC(at least not for me).Was this review helpful to you?
Such a good BL and ABO series
Even though only the first episode is out, I already love it so much. I could rewatch it without getting tired. I'd say this is a good series if you like ABO/Omegaverse. I always loved ABO/Omegaverse and this just meets my expectations so well. The actors make it look really realistic and the setting for the scenes are really well chosen. Two main characters have strong chemistry which makes it even better. Theres nothing bad to say. In the bl community ive seen some of the most terrible bl in my seven years of watching. I AM TELLING YOU this series was complete horse radish, It was terrible, and I had high expectations for this series. Dont get me wrong I love me some BoatOat but imo their acting did not suit the style of this show. Now im no hater I love seeing actors I enjoy watching take on different styles of acting but gosh damn this was not it. I want to really say that the ending of this damn show really pissed me off because everything was left incomplete, plus why was so much happening in this story but nothing at all at the same time? Anyways back to the ending it was so incomplete, Patsa and Nakhun found out they were pregnant, so wheres the belly? The child? like tf??? Plus Ongsa and Nakhins story felt was also left incomplete. And please dont get me started on sangnuea and Naphitch story bruh. I feel like the part where Naphitch marked Sangnuea was so pointless. That whole episode was pointless tbh. è una serie BELLA? Forse no, ma aspettavo i martdì come se fosse Natale durante questo periodo.
Vi devo dire, stavo per darle anche 10, poi mi sono contenuta. è una BELLA serie? Forse no, ma mi è piaciuto ogni singolo minuto, quindi darò il voto che voglio. Se volete una recensione forse un po' più oggettiva della questione, probabilmente dovrete cercare altrove, ma vi devo dire che questa serie mi è piaciuta perché è esattamente quello che cercavo: un A/B/O. Partiamo con un presupposto, tange alla mia persona più o meno zero le critiche che vengono poste al genere, quindi se voglio apprezzare una serie A/B/O lo faccio. C'è un mondo da dire sul genere? Forse. Lo voglio fare? No. E quindi la questione si chiude. Vi devo dire che dopo la prima prova con PitBaba, dove siam onesti, nella seconda stagione l'A/B/O era praticamente zero e nella prima invece era estremamente blando, e con A/B/O Desire, dove c'erano gli Enigma (che verosimilmente ci sarà anche qua, ma almeno è ancora un embrione per ora) e la parte di A e O in senso stretto era estremamente ridotta, devo dire che finalmente ho avuto una seria dove si vede dell'A/B/O un po' come i vecchi tempi (o le vecchie FF che leggevo, adesso siamo anche qui nel mondo della fantasia). Con i feromoni, i beta che hanno le paranoie e un evil omega che anche lui ha le paranoie. L'unica cosa che non capisco è come sia possibile che Patsha non sapesse nulla della questione (e da qui il 9,5 invece che il 10): io avrei usato un altro device narrativo, tipo dirgli che era un Beta e poi cucù si scopre essere un Pure Omega, ma a parte questo vi devo dire che il tutto mi è proprio piaciuto. I'm Knot lovin it
It feels off for some reason, like super awkward in most scenes. I can't pinpoint exactly what, screenplay/direction/editing, something is not working.So I wrote that for the 1st episode, now I found out why. Apparently it's all AI slop. I knew the subtitles were AI & they sucked ass. The script too had zero flow/pace or anything for that matter.
There are glaringly obvious issues with the plot. The acting is bad, partially probably due to bad direction as well. Most of the scenes are just super awkward, like the actors don't know what they are supposed to do. The dialogue delivery is off, it's visible even to a non Thai person. The acting is bad for everyone. The leads have chemistry, but the NC scenes in the beginning were uncomfortable, it does get better in the newer episodes.
I was looking forward to a series that included all aspects of omegaverse, but this is just a pathetic execution.

Just doesn't make any sense
First of all... I don't understand how Oats character seems to be the only one unaware about omegaverse existence. Even the reasons "explained" by his father later on doesn't make any real sense. In reality could only worsened, since his dad not only hide the truth about his mom, but all the truth of a universe he is supposed to live in. I mean, he "thought" that Phatsa could be an Alpha but didn't even care to explain to him what could possibly happen if he byte an omega?Then of course his secondary gender never affected him until he started to think about it.
Their acting is stiff and the attraction between Pure A/ Pure O must be really strong, but here we are, watching wierd NC where the leads are glued to e/o (with a really bad acting) and then part ways.. I read omegaverse novel so i know how it works.. nothing like that
I really prefer in this mess the second couple, because they seem more at ease even if one is a True A and the other one a Beta.
Never imagine an omegaverse plot like this, expecially for a thai BL. ABO desire has gained another standard after watching this.

I really enjoyed this show. I hope there are more episodes since there were so many open ends. I hope we at least get a special episode or something. Saying a Lot Without Actually Saying Anything
My Stubborn is my absolute guilty pleasure and was completely carried by Boat and Oat’s chemistry and dedication to their roles. Yes, there were many side characters and sideplots, but you could clearly see the “red thread”: Jun and Sorn’s journey from Friends with Benefits to a real couple. I started Knot with similar expectations: good chemistry, great NC scenes, an okay story, and solid entertainment with every episode.I’m still a newbie to the Omegaverse. The dark-romance aspects of the genre aren't really my cup of tea. But ABO Desire was a fantastic introduction (thanks to Hua Yong, who is now one of my favorite BL characters 😁), and I managed to dive deeper into the lore through a German Omegaverse book series.
The first three episodes of Knot were genuinely good. Oat was so on point with Phat’s emotions, and Boat is made to play an Alpha. I loved the themes the plot introduced—the bond between an Alpha and his Omega alongside the soulmate bond, which feels like a pre-determined fate for Phat’s life. I was so excited to watch Phat and Nakhun navigate this together and eventually fall in love, much like in My Stubborn.
But then episode 4 released, followed by episode 5… and I just couldn’t defend the series anymore. I’m usually able to ignore certain flaws in BL dramas, but I was genuinely hyped for Knot. Plus, with so many exceptional BLs airing this year, the drop in quality stands out even more.
I’m intentionally comparing Knot to My Stubborn because they share the same director, production team, and largely the same cast.
The production of Knot is surprisingly weak, and a low budget isn't an excuse, as other series have proven. The camera angles, sound, and editing were terribly lacking in this one. It feels like the entire budget went into the location and outfits. Now, My Stubborn almost feels like a high-budget production by comparison.
What negative-impressed me was how many lines some characters had—without conveying any actual substance. Phat and Nakhun talked constantly, yet rarely with each other. Then there was Folk (Sangnuea) with his massive villain monologue and the repetitive plot points (like the land purchase or the dad 😬). It was a classic case of saying a lot without actually saying anything. In contrast, Jame (Naphitch) had barely any lines in his few scenes.
The writers completely missed the chance to show the actual development of Phat and Nakhun’s relationship. After the first few episodes, the two barely spent any meaningful time together to actually get to know each other.
Instead, the production focused on a hundred other things. I tried to list all the sideplots:
- The bonding between Nakhun and Phat
- Phat learning about the Omegaverse
- The brothers trying to buy the land
- Amintra trying to stop the purchase
- Amintra being in love with her bodyguard (??)
- Tim’s bar
- Naphitch being the half-brother
- Someone trying to frame Naphitch
- Tim and Sangnuea’s story
- The father searching for the Pure Omega
Did I miss anything? 😁
Most of these storylines were barely addressed or glossed over (especially the anticlimactic end to the Pure Omega search 😅). Most of the supporting characters lacked any real purpose. I would have loved to see more of Amintra and Nakhin’s friendship or learn why Nakhin and Ongsa’s relationship isn’t accepted (I know the general reasons, but it deserved to be explored further). Naphitch and Sangnuea’s storyline felt particularly wasted. The build-up had so much potential, but it badly needed more screentime and better scriptwriting.
I get that MFlow wanted to showcase their actors for future projects, but the production team should have recognized when enough was enough.
The most disappointing part for me, however, was the execution of Nakhun and Phat’s dynamic. Boat and Oat have incredible chemistry—both on and off screen—and you can tell they gave their all for these roles. Yet something was missing. I loved their dynamic in My Stubborn because Boat and Oat brought so much life to Jun and Sorn. It was fun, endearing, and felt organic. Knot had its cute moments too, but because the characters skipped a proper getting-to-know-you phase, their chemistry couldn't shine through as well. If Boat had been allowed to do more with his role than just play the typical stern, serious Alpha, Nakhun could have been much more layered.
I suppose I was hoping for more Alpha-brother power dynamics or subtle mafia vibes—basically, more show, don’t tell.
On the other hand, the NC scenes somehow ended up feeling way too long, even if they actually weren't in terms of screen time. The first ones (especially that very first one 😳) were top-notch as always with Boat and Oat. But later on, simply implying them might have worked much better to keep the momentum going 😉
On a positive note: whoever styled Boat absolutely nailed it! He looks incredible as Nakhun (no beard this time 😉). Overall, the styling for the entire cast was top-notch—the styling team clearly had a blast.
Honestly, I think Boat and Oat could thrive even more under a different production company with better scripts. But at the same time, I realize how competitive the Thai BL industry is and why actors prefer staying with an agency that offers them steady work.
Maybe MFlow’s next projects will be more like My Stubborn in terms of production. I’m still looking forward to them, just with slightly lower expectations 😉

Waste of time
I was really looking forward to the series but then I started watching it from episode 1 to 10 and I was really hoping that it would get better but it didn't.I really wanted to give this series a chance so I watched episode 11 and 12 and I should have stopped at episode 10 if I wanted to watch a bad bl drama.
I should have watched Eye contact which is much better than this and Eye contact was also a bad drama but better than this.
I'm just so disappointed because I watched My Stubborn and I grew to love Oat and Boat, and their acting. This show was supposed to cement their acting skills but it did not. Their skills were overshadowed by the lack of a comprehensive script.
I remember watching the trailer and the pilot and I was so engaged and I was interested in the first two episodes then it just with downhill from there.
I was really looking forward to this drama but I was just so disappointed. I hope the cast members get better scripts in the future.
