I have the same problem! If you haven't seen them, I recommend:

- City Hunter (cool female lead who dreams of being a body guard)

- Bridal Mask (I didn't like the female lead so much, but she's definitely badass and not stupid)

- Descendants of the Sun (she's a doctor)

- Cruel City (gotta love the Lee "Madam")

- Faith (another smart doctor)

- It's Okay That's Love

- King2Hearts (badass soldier)

- Strongest Deliveryman

- Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

I recommend these Taiwanese dramas ... Attention Love (high school to college romance drama), Fabulous 30 (drama about 3 women), Bad Girl (High school movie), Pleasantly Surprised (drama with romance in a kitchen setting), and Perfect Match (similar to previous one). All of them have strong female MCs for the most part.
