Classic C-Drama Masterpieces:

• Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (2000) – absolutely beautiful cinematography + gripping and tragic story + amazing and fantasy-like martial arts stunts by both male and female characters

• Farewell My Concubine (1993) – saw this as a child and can't remember much about the story other than a boy who had his sixth finger chopped off and something about crab apples, although, I do remember that it had beautiful colours and imagery, and the cinematography was wonderful. It is definitely a classic masterpiece, judging by the various comments and reviews I have seen about the film :)

More recent C-Drama Films:

• Duckweed (2017) – Hilarious twists in the storyline, a light-hearted and heartwarming story about friendship and the relationship between a father and son. Something that'll really crack you up!!(^‿^)

• Hear Me (2009) – Adorable love story, comedy and drama involving characters with a hearing impairment. Has that 2000s aesthetic and there's a hilarious twist at the end which I think is definitely worth watching for!!
