Thai GL film Uranus 2324 was released into domestic cinemas today (July 4th; after an advance screening a few days ago). No word yet on an international streaming release, but the odds are looking good.

Oh wow, the posters and trailer look so good and intense. I added it to my watchlist right away. <3 

Right now I'm enjoying The Secret of Us and thinking about watching GAP next. ^^

Japanese GL drama "Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko" (sometimes abbreviated to "AyaHiro") premiered yesterday (July 4th), with streaming on TVer (domestic) and GagaOOLala (international) starting  today!

It is produced and broadcasted by MBS (My Beautiful Man; Senpai This Can't Be Love; My Strawberry Film) and screenwritten by Shimo Ayumi (Shanai Marriage Honey; Our Dining Table; Tsuiraku JK to Haijin Kyoshi; Takara's Treasure).

It stars Kato Shiho (Re:Mind; Dasada; Streaming Starts Now) and Mori Kanna (Promise Cinderella; Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo; Cheer Dan) as two coworkers with mutual secret crushes on each other.

That alone makes it a must watch for me. I love Tsuiraku JK. Already added the drama to my Upcoming Dramas custom list and now will add to my PTW. ^^

Superb start! What a neat & clean first episode! Acting and direction is on point. Casting is top notch, justice done to the manga. Hiroko san is so bewitching, I can totally see why Ayaka is head over heels for her, I would be like that too ?
Renewed my Gagaoolala subscription to watch this, support should be shown towards the project by watching it on legit platform. The first episode is free, so check it out folks.
Personally I give high praises for a show which provides a meaningful outro and this one has an amazing outro, a good outro is language of love for viewers from creators.
9.5/10 for episode 1, 0.5 deducted only because it's not 1 hr long episode, haha.

Also a lot more currently filming: Mom Pet Sawan, Pluto, I'm Your Moon, Affair and Petrichor. I believe at least half of these will air this year (but hopefully all of them)

We really won't have to wait several months for more GL content ever again, what a time to be alive

I believe that Mom Pet Sawan should air around the end of the year, if not the beginning of next year. Pluto should be out by the end of the year as well (Sing also said that about Us by I honestly really doubt that though) then there's also Affair in September and Apple due for October! And who knows what else ;))

In unfortunate news, it looks like Mii My Girls probably won't happen. The instagram page they'd made for it has disappeared and so is the announcement photo from the director, P'Champ. The company H8 seems to be looking to cast a female lead in her mid to late twenties for a GL so I'm assuming that Som dropped out since she's just had a baby because May was just recently in 1000 Years Old.
