To bad it was boring despite having interesting message to deliver. The movie assumed viewers already familiar with the event and Shinsengumi characters.

It wasn't upto my liking.. 

It felt like a low budget project of a university film/movie making  club.. 

I think it reminded me of the movie project in the anime  kindaichi case files episode silver-screen satsujin jiken.. 

The lead actor carried the whole movie and I was expecting so much more from a big name actress like Kimura who played saeko..

I absolutely love it; with a low budget it is but they still make outstanding cinematography.

Yep, I just saw That GOJIRA movie, too, along with everyone else cheep. Was pretty good. Ending was pretty meh but I figured those guys just couldn't let things be.
