PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE VOTING!!!

Which OSTs are your favorite this year? I am holding this poll to see which OST tracks are everyone’s picks from 2017’s dramas!

The songs you selected must be from a drama that BEGAN airing this year and FINISHED airing this year (sorry, but all OST from dramas that started in 2016 but ended in 2017 don't count)

That sound reasonable!!! I am lowkey struggling to think of J-drama OSTs (but a few movie soundtracks have popped into my head) I also haven't done a good job of keeping up with J-dramas this year which may be partially to blame:P

I actually struggled to cut my list down to only 5, and that's only for the dramas that i watched. I think there were a lot of good drama ost this year. I included MVs if anyones interested

in no particular order. I'd rather include "Mindful Hue" instead of "Second Sun" for Code Blue drama, but since it's from a previous season (and not included in the season 3 ost CD) i didn't.

Edit : I just wanted to add that, as much as I understand the necessity of putting limits (beginning and end of 2017 year), it bothers me a little bit, in the way that some dramas could never fit any challenge. I mean, dramas that start at the end of a year and finish the next year are never able to be nominated. Hence, Hoshino Gen's song, "Koi", well-known ending song of Nigeru wa Haji da ga, Yaku ni tatsu, can never be submitted. The drama could not make last year best of 2016 poll (and will probably not make this year's too), and so would the song, although we are all well aware that this song was one of the most appreciated one and contributed a lot to the success of the drama. I was personnally really surprised to see during August, that in the Shibuya's Tower Records'shop, the "Koi" single was still put on the front, even if we were months after the end of the drama and the release of the single, at a time when Hoshino was even promoting his new single "Family song" (which was everywhere on the tv screens at the time).
Sorry for the rant, and i'm pretty aware that there is no solution that would satisfy everybody. There are probably many other dramas concerned, it's just that the case of "Koi" appeared to me while reflecting on the songs that touched me since the beginning of the year.

Anyway, thanks a lot for taking the time to make the poll, and i'm looking forward to the vote and the results. Reading everybody's propositions is already pretty interesting. If you need some help, do not hesitate to ask for it!

Yeah I was wondering about Hanabi myself is it on the Sound track for season 3?

and I did add movies as a possible option

Also, in answer to your question ... Per dramawiki, Hanabi is the Theme Song of Season Three as well. It seems like Japanese Dramas keep often keep themes from season to season.
