He seems like such an honorable man...Seems like he didn't even try to take the easy or cushy road during his military service. What an incredibly tough and stressful position for all of those soldiers to be in. Best of luck to Hyun Bin and all the men stationed on the front line for that matter...

He needs to come home safe so we can all watch him kick butt in his next movie or drama!

I hope North Korea will spare all of them. That particular conflict is just insane.
As for Hyun Bin, I'm not even in the mood to comment. Of course, once you're a soldier it doesn't matter what you were as a civilian, nevertheless, I wish he had chosen the easy way, as many celebrities do. More power to him for his principles.

I see someone finally created a thread on HB. Rita's intro thread was getting pretty full with comments about HB.

I hope he comes back safe and sound but I really want to comment on the fact that he looks just as good with his hair cut short. Many actors, when they get their hair cut, for some reason don't look as good, but he's working it.

He stands out because he is so tall, compared to everyone else. I have so much respect for him. He did not go into the army and skate in the "entertainment" part of it. He went to the Marines and requested to be treated like everyone else. Between him and Won Bin, who served his time in the DMZ, I have a new found respect for these two actors.
