I am so happy I have someone to watch with he gets extra kisses. (Personally I think this is his main motivation.)

That's so sweet Jeanie I'm glad you can share the experience with D bless him whatever his motivation is at least hes giving dramas a go...

& K2H is a very good drama the only annoying thing was HJW's ayego lol that irked me no end but other than that its fab :D

well done my girl not one but TWO recruits I'm thinking maybe I should "steamroller" some of my family/friends as well hehehe

So we were watching episode 7 tonight and during the part where Jae Shin is singing to Si Kyung, D turns to me and says... "I know how that guy feels. I kinda felt like that when you and I started dating." "Awww sweetness...you did?" "Yeah, sure. I mean, your singing is total crap but you were still pretty cute." "so romantic." *arm punch* "That's me babe...Hey, go back...we just missed a chunk while we were talking." I'm so going to force him to watch more with me in the future!

Oh also...He really hates the English speaking non-Asian actors. He practically cringes at the bad acting.

awww..Jeanie-ssi i'm enjoying your story more than K2H..*chuckles* and uggghhh, those non asian actors!!..i can feel his pain..i cringe every single time i see them..and my goodness me, they are there EVERYWHERE..in almost every friggin' drama!!!! :D

Yes I am happy! It's wonderful! I was so worried they wouldn't get any recognition at all, considering the ratings and all the competition. But too bad if rooftop prince got all the rest. Lee Seung Ki must be very disappointed. And his performance was stellar, much improved from the past. But I think he should take the outstanding korean drama award as a good sign. I liked the white actoers in this one. They weren't that bad for amateurs, at least their English was fine. and I thought the witch chick was actually very good, very convicing in the way she agonized one of the characters, she did well! It;s true they somehow didn't harmonise with the whole drama, but...nothing really cringeworthy there..just a needed element- and not particularly major, either.

This thread was a lot of fun to read for me. I read it whilst I was watching the drama (stopping before I reached episodes that I hadn't watched in order to avoid the spoilers!) and I have to say that I agreed with all of you. This was one of the best Korean dramas I have watched so far (only 11 for me as yet) and I am so, so glad that I chose to watch it. Everything for me was perfect and I will certainly recommend it as much as possible. I hope they make more dramas like this in the future!
