No, I am upset with it, I will give me time to relax until tonight XD
Besides, I have a test like in 2 hours and I should be studying :D
Deleted scene! Too cute ^^
Just finished it! I loved it but I didn't like the end :/

Yeah, I wasn't crazy about it either.
By golly, DC's subs are killing me. TT___TT Is there any other site where the subs are not that Konglish? I'm at Ep 16 so far and he story is running really great but oh *grief* these subs!
I finished watching Ojakgyo Brothers yesterday and except for a handful of episodes I really enjoyed it. For once there were no death or terminal illnesses in sight! I'm such an emotional person so this was a great relief for me. The comedy had me stitches. I loved the brothers and the whole family. I had a few gripes, however. I'll start with Tae Boem and Su Young's relationship. Starting out they were my favourite couple, but as the show progressed they became my least favourite because of how their story developed. This may be a cultural issue, but I disliked the way in which Su Young used the pregnancy to trap Tae Boem into marriage. Though she probably would have faced some social stigma I'm sure her family's wealth could have spared her from the brunt of it. Basically she manipulated the situation for her personal gain just because she loved Tae Buem and wanted him for herself. But what am I complaining about? I'm glad they ended up together so it didn't take me long to forgive her. And it's not like this isn't something many women do. Later on though she lost even more points from me again. I think she and her family blackmailed and forced Tae Boem into loving her rather than allowing the feeling to develop organically. I would have loved to see more tender moments between them and Tae Boem slowly realizing that this was a good woman and growing to love her out of his own accord. I also disliked how Su Young acted like a big baby throughout the show depending on her parents to take care of her like she's still 12. After they married I really wanted to punch Tae Buem in the face for just being okay with sponging off his in-laws. When finally decided to grow a pair and wanted to move out I was really happy, only to be disappointed when they changed their minds. I actually loved the in-laws. They provided a lot of laughs and crazy as that woman was I knew she's overbearing because of love for her family. Nevertheless I like seeing men being men and providing for their own families. I liked him better at the beginning when he was a bit more assertive in telling mom-in-law to butt out of his family business.
By the way, just to make one thing clear I'm not taking away Tae Bom's responsibility to his kid ... I just didn't like how the writers went about getting them together.

have you seen this? they cut the morning scene during Tae Hui's Jae Eun's honeymoon.

OK, when I saw this I went like .... BO?!
I didn't seen that scene! Did I miss an episode without realizing? In which episode did that morning after the wedding night cuddle between Tae Hei and Ja Eun happen?
Becca256 wrote: Just finished episode 57 and I've gotta admit I feel a little disappointed right now. Ja Eun is acting pretty stupidly getting married like that, throwing away something that it's important to her. I've liked her character so far because she's sweet and cute, but also strong and independent. Now she's just giving up her identity. I hope Ahjumma really stops them.

I actually feel the opposite. I don't think its stupid. Somehow I knew they'd find a way to work it out because I remember Tae Hei saying earlier that he wanted to quit his job as a policeman to go aboard to study. When this opportunity came for Ja Eun I immediately thought perfect ... now their lives are really going in the same direction. I was very shocked and mad at Ajumma for what she said at the wedding, but luckily she put a good spin it. And it all worked out Ja Eun and Tae Hei just like I suspected it would! :) Also love is important too. Love is fragile and easily broken if not tended to carefully. A lot can happen in a year to tear a couple a part, even if they're very much in love. Personally, I'm glad she made the choice she did.
I'm gonna try my bestest to stay awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay from those tempting spoilers.

I just need to post here to avoid putting more spoilers on my and Shelley T's profile.

Lately I've grown irritated of Tae Bum and Soo Young <-- especially her just because she went from professional and sophisticated to selfish and insecure. I'm at Episode 38 and the words coming out of her mouth are unbelievable. What? After asking Tae Bum to quit his anchor program (just because she's insecure that the writer of the program is HHR and she couldn't stand it), she suddenly blurts out to her parents and in-laws that he has the right to meet HHR because they only have a contract marriage?

What does that make him? Thanks to that, she now looks like a pathetic woman desperately trying to cling to the father of her child and Tae Bum looks like a S.O.B. who took advantage of her. What the hell happened to that ambitious career woman in the earlier episodes? Did she leave her pride somewhere?

Omo, the only thing that's making this drama so cute now is Tae Hee and Ja Eun! <3 <3 <3

Man, Soo Young tried my last damn nerve when she pulled that stunt. But it gets worse. Just wait and see. I just did not like the way their story played out at all. I'm not letting off Tae Bom off the hook, but he actually did not deserve Soo Young turning into a psycho *****. She totally misjudged the situation and thought the worse of Tae Bom because of her insecurities. That's why I hate misunderstanding as a plot device. It was totally messed up and it ruined what was one of my favourite couples on the show. When she asked Tae Bom if he loved her right after he's just had to deal with seeing his first love again and having his feelings all messed up all over again, I just wanted to kick her. I mean what did she expect him to say really??? Under the circumstances there was no way he was gonna say yes and she should have seen that coming if she had any sense at all. I'm so pissed at the character you wouldn't believe. Thank heavens for Tae Hee and Ja Eun. I even got to like dumbass Tae Sik even more than them. Such a pity because I'm a real fan of Ryu Soo Young (guy who plays Tae Bom). I really don't know what the heck the writers were thinking when they created Soo Young's character. I really loved her in the beginning and hated Tae Bom for not wanting to be with her, but after a while I lost all respect for her and I wanted her and Tae Bom to divorce! As the show progressed I even started to dislike Tae Bom too. You'll see what I mean as you watch further. Grrrrr....

omg everything you said is so true. I watched that at 4am in the morning and I was asking 'why ask that stupid question?' where did she get the right to ask that? She couldn't even see straight like their parents. The part where Tae Bum wanted to compete with the Department Head was downplayed and all I could see was Soo Young getting jealous of HHR without seeing Tae Bum's desire to level up at work. What a mess! I'm dreading the next episodes!

lmfao Tae Sik! He's picking up the pieces now. I'm just glad he and Guk Su are doing fine at least for now. Not sure where Tae Pil and Yeo Wol are going with their relationship though.

Joo Won acting out Tae Hee as a 30-yr-old virgin/inexperienced man is so--hilarious! kekekekekekke He's so gruff and cute. Tae Hee and Ja Eun both are.

Honestly Tae Sik face alone had me laughing my a** off most times during this drama. The actor was so brilliant in playing the constant screw-up and his facial expression when he's surprised at something or when he gets in trouble with his family is priceless! HAHA ... the scene in ep35 when Guk Su suddenly appears before the family and his father went ballistic on him was hilarious. It really was culturally shocking to see that a grown man pushing 40 still has to be submissive to his parents like that. I wonder if that's how it really is in Korea? Also having to seek your parents explicit permission to marry (and break up with your love if they don't approve) ... wow! Do you think that's truly how it is over there or just artistic liberties being taken by the filmmakers? I don't know, but it's all very fascinating to consider.

I won't comment on Tae Pil and Yeo Wol because to do so might spoil it for you. I do like Yeo Wol, I think she's sweet and the actress brings a certain vulnerability to the character that makes you really sympathize with her. I'm not sure, however, if Tae Pil is the man for her. I'll explain what I mean later.

Tae Hee and Ja Eun, after the writers totally messed up Tae Bom and Su Young's relationship, were the saving grace for me. They're sooooo cute together. And yes, the tough but relationship-wise inexperienced Tae Hee is beyond adorable. I love how he expresses his love for Ja Eun. I don't want to mention certain things in case you haven't seen them but ... sigh ... those two are really good together. And Ja Eun is really cute. She's like one of those Anime characters with her big, dark eyes and button mouth. I only wish they had more passionate kisses between them. I really hate these stiff, just standing there like a log type of kisses that's so prevalent in K-dramas. Why, oh why can't the directors ask the actors to kiss like normal people in love? I swear to God when I go to Korea I'm going to personally visit these TV stations, as fellow filmmaking professional, and file a formal complaint! :) lol

Tae Bom and Su Young .... sigh. Let's get back to them once you've gotten a bit further in the show. For me, their relationship is damaged beyond repair. I want them to divorce. I think Tae Bom deserves a real woman, not a spoiled, whiny 12 yr old who depends on her parents for literally EVERYTHING passing off as an adult. Aigoo ... just thinking about that relationship, and esp Su Young, makes me mad as heck.
