That was pretty funny,

Ep. 9 was pretty uneventful. Seemed like a filler episode. I did like the fights, but the one against the humans lasted too long.

Who else thinks reaper guy might be related to LJK's character?

yea it does give off that feeling, tho there seem to be this mysterious link bwt everything and everyone that still needs to be uncovered
I knew they were related!! I knew it!! Grim reaper is Eun Oh's uncle!! But one thing.... Eun Oh got his powers from an illness which opened it or from his previously heaven fairy mother? One question answered but anther question comes up!!! The mystery is killing me!! Plus Eun Oh needs to eat!!!! I loved the emperor's look this episode...was super cuuute and he looked more natural and like my Seung Ho :') ahaha

I know that the episode is good and all but next time you want to talk about a plot twist, could you please write in white and say it's a spoiler, please? There are people who comment on this thread who are just starting the drama, so please consider them. Thanks :D
Yeah no problem I usually do put it in white but it doesn't work on my phone and it had been subbed for a while so I just assumed it would spoil it Never mind will do next time :)

Me too!! The first 8 episodes IMHO were just introductions of what/when/how their lives got entangled like that!! You are right, those hats are stupid! Specially the one that Lord Choi uses... What the heck is that? With those pointy thingys? Is he an antenna or something? A satellite that fell down from space and landed in his head? Coz, that thing is hideous!!!!

Actually I think you are wrong... Spoiler Alert!!!

*the "demon" who eats souls, IS Grim Reaper's sister, who was a heavenly fairy. She needed Eun Oh's Mom (body and soul) so she (Grim Reaper's sister) be alive. Remember the whole body & souls disappearance started 400 years ago, and Eun Oh's mom, is like 50 years old. "Demon Lady" needs souls to feed and stay alive, and bodies, so she can hide from the gods, and be undetected. But I think that her bodies, decays easily, that is why, she needs a new one, every leap month *Well that is what I understand.

You've got a point but *I was think more on the lines of Eun Oh's mother being the Demon Lady rather than having her body taken by her...their family background is just too much of a coincidence for that I think. She had a brother that was killed by a certain "him", the Grim Reaper had a sister who now is Eun Oh's mother/Demon Lady....Eun Oh has power that the Grim Reaper dont understand like when he fought off the demons and vanquished them...Grim Reaper said only heavenly being or whatnot can do so....plus Eun Oh's fan...* while your point makes a lot of sense and I believe you'reright...but still...questions aha!
Possible spoilers, but mostly thoughts and theories***I am the supporter of the body possession theory, as the 'thing' that is being talked about by the Gods has been hunting in human world for 400 years, and we can be more or less sure the woman that was shown in the beginning is the mother of EunOh, so I think the ex-fairy is inside her, BUT, I am not saying she was not evil herself, I think her crazy ideas of revenge has played a great role for the fairy to choose that specific body.
So the last time she changed her body was 3 years ago, when EunOh's mom disappeared... that raises a question in me... remember in the beginning... JooWal's ring, he is looking for a pure soul, and I really can't understand how is EunOh's mom a pure soul, she was obsessed with revenge ideas and had a son from a married person... why EunOh's mom's body?

Whatever song that was, playing while the magistrate was fighting the hired thugs? ...I love it!
The music has been getting pretty random and un-sageuk-like. I don't know what's going on here... I felt like nothing much happened in this episode either.

I think we are at a slow build for these two episodes. I won't mind the slowness if... in the next few episodes little events that happened in the slow episodes end up having meaning. There are certain TV shows, that if they can pull it off correctly, make insignificant happenings end up meaning more than you thought later. (BTVS and Angel, LOST and some other TV shows did that really well.) So I am hoping for the best with this show because I like the way it is written and how things are playing out so far. If it continues to be slow and meandering it will be such a waste of a potentially great show.

As for the music... maybe I don't know enough to be more picky or discerning about the genre of music? The music isn't bothering me. I actually really like it. Maybe because I enjoyed Chuno so much and they threw in a lot of un-sauguk like music that I enjoyed a lot? That's my theory anyway. LOL

I hope that's what they are doing. They did great job getting my attention with the last few episodes when they focused on the mysteries and the plot and laid off the slapstick scenes.

Yeah... I liked the fighting scene, but was totally bewildered when the song started playing. I glared at the TV and went "WTFF?!?!?!" (<--- Yes, I meant to add 2 Fs...lol) And then the scene felt eternal.
