Add a friend

Probably stared at the answer many times.  How do I add my friend Sally Bee to my friends list?
I have no idea how I got the 5 friends that I have.

Hi MoonShyne,
To add a user as your friend you search for their username using the search at the top. You change "titles' to "users". Then you search for Sally Bee.

Then you click on your friends profile: http://mydramalist.com/profile/cheers2you . Then you press "Send Friend Request".
