Dream High - This is an absolute must. The music in the show itself will hook any viewer (some of the performances are catchy, some flashy, but my favorite ones are the ones filled with heart) The show also has tons of cute, due to Kim So Hyun, and the IU - Woohyun pairing (they're simply adorable!). It's the kind of show which takes you on a journey with the characters, in which you end up rooting for them along the way. The tears. The awkward moments. The laughter. The successes. You're Beautiful - Gender bender nonsense with an idol band twist! Total classic and great idol secondary leads. Jung Yong Hwa (CNBlue) and Lee Hong Ki (FTIsland) play bandmates that of course fall for the female lead (poor dudes will give ya double SLS if you suffer from that kind of thing). Uee (After School) also appears as the "girlfriend" of the male lead for extra idol intrigue.  - u/MerinoMedia

You're Beautiful - A beautiful soundtrack. Park Shin Hye is annoying at times, but mostly adorable. The second lead syndrome will keep you attached, and hopeful till the very end, and Lee Hong Ki will make you want to jump into the TV screen and hug him till he can't breathe. A hilarious show, full of heart, and highly relatable in terms of love. Makes you want to pull your hair out sometimes, but still worth it. Would recommend for the cuteness, and the moments which tug at your heartstrings. - u/ZobsInTheHouse

EXO Next Door -Chanyeol, DO, Baekhyun and Sehun from EXO start living in the house next to a shy and timid girl’s house and turn of events make her go to their house for housekeeping. Her shy and cute behavior makes two of these guys interested in her. Your typical cliché rom-com with some over-the-top-ness. Fun for a short and lighthearted watch.  - u/Fatooz

Starring: HIGHLIGHT's Yong Jun Hyung

Monstar - Cute. It's simply very cute. It's a show worth an insight into the lives of different teenagers, and the various problems they can face, as everything feels extreme during that age. However, that makes you root for the characters along the way, since they're very relatable, and the diversity of the cast adds to that too.They use music in order to express themselves, and cope with their negative situations, which is my favorite part since it shows the power of music which comes from ones soul.  - u/ZobsInTheHouse

Bring it On, Ghost - Cute and fun drama with 2PM's Taecyeon being all himbo on everyone (it's really a great look on him) and you know you love it. Ghosts are mostly only scary in the beginning, a very convincing bad guy, and Kim So Hyun doing a great job being cast opposite a guy that's actually way too old for her as always.  - u/MerinoMedia

Such great sets that really play up the based off a manga feeling, and you've got two idol leads here to make it even more fun! Sulli, formerly of f(x) may she rest in peace, plays the female lead and Minho (Shinee) plays the male lead. While it's probably not my favorite gender bender, it's definitely one of the most fun.  - u/MerinoMedia

Starring - IU, Baekhyun and Z. Hera. 

IU plays the character who supposedly time travels from 2016 to Goryeo in the body of this girl called Hae-Soo. Hae Soo’s life gets entangled with all the princes and even though she has a hate relationship with the ML who is the 4th prince, she can’t help but care for him and understand him. So (4th prince) despite his mean and cold demeanor starts falling for Soo since she is the only one who cares for him. It’s a fun lighthearted drama in the first half and a sob fest in the second half, but the ensemble cast and setting makes it an easy watch. Loved the chemistry between IU and literally every other actor.  - u/Fatooz

Follows a group of friends throughout their journey of adulthood with the background of Korea's pop culture. Heartfelt family moments with a lot of relatable scenes. Very few k-dramas can lift up idol's acting, the Reply series is definitely one of them.  - u/insertfakenames

Starring: Super Junior's Siwon

The King of Dramas A top drama PD falls from his position as the best and works to create a drama that will bring him back to greatness. Highlighting the adventures and pitfalls of the live-shoot drama system and the challenges of funding, it's a fun ride with a great cast. Siwon (Super Junior) is in the role he was made to play: narcissistic actor/idol who can't act but thinks he can. No one can convince me he's a great actor, but playing a bad actor is definitely something he excels at and is one of the best parts of the drama (particularly in the back half).  - u/MerinoMedia

 SiWon is in SO many dramas (Posidon, Athena: Goddess of War, Oh! My Lady) but the one I watched was King of Dramas, which is about a Kdrama producer who loses his magic touch and regaining that confidence. It sorta has the the same vibes as the reporting storyline in Healer in that there's a girl aspiring to be a star in the field of the main guy, but this time its producing Korean dramas and the male lead has a more crass personality like the lead in Master's Sun. -  u/kyuopta

Shut Up Flower Boy Band High school underground rock band Eye Candy enter a battle of the bands and discover the strength in their friendships along the way. Infinite's L is one of the band members and probably the first drama to put him on my radar. - u/MerinoMedia

Shut Up: Flower Boy Band- LOVED this drama in high school but fairly certain I would still love it now. Its about a group of rebellious high schoolers trying to make it as a rock band and their fighting, making up, various romantic plots, and a very surprising twist at the beginning of the series that I always used to use to get people hooked. - u/kyopta

Starring: Infinite's L/Myungsoo

The Master's Sun A woman who sees ghosts attaches herself to a mall owner with ghosts of his own that he needs to overcome. Whenever she's with him the ghosts that bother her disappear. Lots of fun and some excellent wardrobe/costume design (particularly for So Ji Sub... he's got a very intense button allergy). Infinite's L plays the younger self of the mall owner (So Ji Sub). No, that's usually not a good reason to watch something, but it was probably a deciding factor in my watching this (besides So Ji Sub... who's always great in a comedic role).  - u/MerinoMedia

Master's Sun- Myungsoo plays the past version of the male lead. The premise of the drama is that the female lead sees and hears ghosts and it is a huge burden on her life - she meets a cold and intense CEO of a huge company who builds relationships purely based on his personal benefit. I remember this drama being really well made and enjoying the developments between the main couple. - u/kyuopta

One More Time: I watched this more recently and as it's pretty short. It's a good binge watch. Myungsoo plays an indie band singer (yet again lol) in a long-term relationship that feels stale. My First First Love- LOVED this drama, very slice of life and cute yet had me in tears at some point as well. One day, 3 friends move into the male lead's house for various personal reasons and the drama follows their experiences finding their own purpose in life, learning to live together, finding new and recognizing old romances - u/kyuopta

The Heirs -  Classic poor girl/rich guy trope with some of the best casting and costume/wardrobe design to be seen in a drama evar. Star studded cast that is clearly living their best life with this crazy drama of chaebols and servants below the stairs and enough hot people to make anyone swoon. f(x)'s Krystal and Kang Min Hyuk (CNBlue) play the cuterest side couple, Hyung Shik (ZE:A) playing the best BFF, and more than enough idol guest appearances to delight just about anyone. Cinderella and the Four Knights - Classic spunky pint sized girl who can kick ass has to deal with all these super hot idol chaebol cousins and live with them. Her life is so hard.  Lee Jung Shin (CNBlue) and Son Na Eun (APink) are the lead billed cast that meet this idol requirement. u/MerinoMedia

A fantasy crime romance drama where ML, SML and FL dream about future and try to help people and each other out in changing their futures and saving each other. More than the romance I loved the writing of the crime cases and the suspense aspect. Jung Hae-In stole the show and with his little screen time he will still make you fall for him. Marriage Contract Uee (After School) plays a struggling single mother diagnosed with terminal cancer who goes into a contract relationship with an older man to provide a future for her daughter after she dies. An old college romance where ML and FL are both in a music school, the ML is into western music while the FL is into traditional music or more so she is forced by her grandfather to partake in traditional music. It’s cute and clichéd for the most part but I quite liked the character development of the FL and it is a good take on how one can realize their dreams a bit later than the others and that if it is meant to be then the universe will make it happen for you!  - u/Fatooz

Starring: GOT7's Jin Young

A sci-fi crime thriller with minimal romance. Absolutely loved Jin-Young’s quirky and witty character, his chemistry with both the SML and FL was amazing. There were some plot twists that I enjoyed and though the drama starts off slow it picks up pace and keeps you on the edge of your seat for the most part. - u/Fatooz

It's a love story about two generations. In 1970's, In-Ha (Jang Keun-suk) is in love with Yoon-Hee (Yoona) but he couldn't get her at the end which it's a bad ended love story.

Nowadays Yoon-Hee has a daughter named Ha-Na (Yoona) who is a cheerfull girl studying in Japan. And In-Ha has a son named Joon (Jang Keun-suk) which he is a photographer and a totall playboy. They bump each other in Japan and this starts all the drama from 1970's to this day. - u/ApollonNike

A coming-of-age high school drama where literally every character has immense growth. A drama that feels like a warm hug in tough times. Ong Seong-Woo’s character was like a hot cup of coffee in a cold night, his shy, introverted yet strong character was the highlight of the drama. The cinematography and soundtrack were just as warm as the drama was. Definitely one of my favourite high school dramas. - u/Fatooz

I Picked Up a Star on the Road/I Picked Up a Celebrity on the Street - Strong start, wackadoodle finish (I heard rumors the production company exec ran off with the money half way through), but let's be honest the concept of kidnapping Sung Hoon (technically an idol but known so much more for his print and film/TV media that I have a hard time counting him as an idol) so he doesn't reveal that you accidentally tried to kill him is pretty wackadoodle to begin with. After School's Lizzy has a strong role as the girlfriend shamelessly using Sung Hoon's fame to improve her own career.  -u/MerinoMedia

A Korean Odyssey/Hwayugi - Lee Hong Ki (FTIsland) has a great scene stealing role in this. Hard carried a lot of the ending for me and his adorably sad side couple. Bora (Sistar) is also a fantastic scene stealer as a male god in a woman's body. Does a FANTASTIC job with the role. - u/MerinoMedia

Oh My Venus A delightful drama about an overweight woman who wants to lose some weight and gain back some self confidence along the way. With So Ji Sub as the excellent trainer to make that happen. Orange Marmalade Kim Seol Hyun (AOA) plays a vampire that just wants to live a normal life and have a crush on a human boy in this part modern day, part sageuk drama. Lee Jong Hyun (CNBlue) also appears as the brooding vampire that thinks vamps should stick to their own kind (aka him). Kinda weird, not the greatest, but I had a pretty good time regardless. Prime Minister and I Yoona (Girl's Generation/SNSD) plays a reporter that ends up in a contract marriage with the prime minister because... reasons... It's great fun and has some of the best Subway PPL I've ever seen. - u/MerinoMedia

Radiant Office - A down on her luck girl just trying to get a job in this tough economy lands a job at a furniture company working for the man that didn't hire her at another company. Infinite's Hoya plays another new hire with a sweet heart that just needs a little more confidence. Lots of fun as they struggle to prove that they are worth hiring and have lots of personal growth along the way. - u/MerinoMedia

Radio Romance - A young assistant writer gets the chance at her own radio program, but only if she can manage the difficult talent they have slated for the DJ role. Doo Joon (HIGHLIGHT/BEAST) plays said difficult DJ. Cute and light fun where Kim So Hyun is again cast opposite a guy that is actually way too old for her but doing a great job otherwise. Yes I know most people know him from the Let's Eat series, but this is where I fell in love with him. I love me a good tsundere. - u/MerinoMedia

Sassy Go Go/Cheer Up! -  Competitive school that values academics before everything enlists the lower grade achievers to create a cheer team to build up the specs of the top students. Jung Eun Ji (APink) plays female lead, and N (VIXX) plays her BFF. Great performances by both of them in a classic high school drama.- u/MerinoMedia

Save Me - A girl's family gets drawn into a cult and the young boys she met in school try to help her escape the cult. Taecyeon (2PM) plays male lead in this thrilling adventure. Not my favorite performance of his, but definitely an interesting watch. - u/MerinoMedia

School 2017 - A young girl dreams of being a webtoon artist in a school that values grades over everything else. She and her friends grow and strengthen their friendships as they attempt to right the injustices of the school. Kim Se Jung (gugudan/IOI) plays female lead in this fun school drama. Terius Behind Me/My Secret Terius - The Pacifier, kdrama edition. So Ji Sub lives near a recent widow and becomes her nanny in an attempt to discover the link her husband's death may have to a crime syndicate. Cute and funny and just lots of fun, with Kim Sung Joo (UNIQ) playing part in the adorable side couple. Fantastic drama I can't say enough good things about it.  - u/MerinoMedia

The Liar and His Lover - A genius composer struggling with writers block meets a young woman (Red Velvet's Joy) who inspires him to face his past demons and write again. Kim Sung Joo (UNIQ) also stars as one of the band members and an adorable side couple. Not the best performance out of Joy, but Sung Joo is just fantastic. - u/MerinoMedia

Uncontrollably Fond Kim Woo Bin is dying of cancer and Bae Suzy (miss A) plays a former flame as they rekindle their relationship in his last days. Lots of melo makjang nonsense, and honestly she did the best she could with what the writing gave her. Decent winter drama to cuddle with some blankets and hot chocolate.  - u/MerinoMedia

Who are You: School 2015 OMG SUNGJAE (BTOB)!! WHY MUST KIM SO HYUN DO YOU WRONG LIKE THIS?! Crazy revenge drama with plenty of makjang birth secrets and horrible school bullying to have you shouting at the screen for hours. AND THE SLS! I never get SLS, EVER, but you bet your ass I did here. Sungjae plays the most wonderful second male lead that would do ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING for the female lead (Kim So Hyun). The male lead is a legitimate asshat, and yet she somehow turns the guy down. I'm still angry about how Sungjae was done wrong years later. Gimme a minute, I need to calm myself back down... - u/MerinoMedia

Dae Jang Geum is Watching - It's my favorite food show! First Kwon Yu Ri's name is Peaches, second there are many drool worthy restaurant scenes, third there's a cooking robot (not really a robot, but still), and fourth the little sister teaches you how to cook many delicious meals, mostly with cheese, out of convenience store food. - u/pvtshame

GoHo's Starry Night - It's a short time investment at 20 eps x 20 min, but it feels like a full complete story.  Go Ho works at an ad agency but in her spare time she writes a dating article for a webzine.  She has a tsundere boss and things get stirred up when that boss boots her to another team, led by a new employee who happens to be Go Ho's ex boyfriend.  It's super cute and an easy watch. - u/pvtshame

Wednesday 3:30pm - A girl enlists the help of her childhood BFF to win back her boyfriend who dumped her at the time of the week that women supposedly look their most haggard.  It's cute and small time investment at 15 eps x 15 min. - u/pvtshame

Starring - VIXX's N (supporting cast)

Familiar Wife - It came out around the same time as Go Back Couple, and it has a similar plot in that you have a couple (Ji Sung and Han Ji Min), who have a testy marriage and go back in time to when they first meet to make decisions that impact their future.  I actually really liked this one better than Go Back Couple because it really focused on the happiness that the couple derives from each other rather than focusing on their roles as parents.  You start out really hating Ji Sung's participation in their relationship, and their fights are pretty severe, but you really watch him grow up from Man Child to actual adult. - u/pvtshame

The Package - I LOVE this show, and not only because it's fully filmed in France and has gorgeous scenery.  What I love the most about this is that it is very character focused.  Each one of So So's tourists have their own backstory and as they unfold, it completely changes your first impressions of each of them. - u/pvtshame

My Only Love Song - Song Soo Jung is haughty actress filming a sageuk.  Things blow up in the press regarding her personal life and somehow she gets transported to the past in a quirky van with its own personality.  She meets dummy On Dal and they try to save a princess and her mute body guard from a situation.  It's hilarious.  It has so many inside jokes from Gong Seung Yeon's and Lee Jong Hyun's stint on We Got Married, but you don't have to have watched that appreciate the humor in the show. - u/pvtshame

Starring - Lee Jong Hyun from CNBLUE and Bona from Cosmic Girls

Girl's Generation 1979 - It's set in a time when there was serious crackdown on students who dissent against the government, just prior to the Gwangju Uprising.  The story surrounding the main characters, a girl who has a crush on a boy who likes another girl and another guy who likes the first girl, is interesting enough, and well played, but I was more engaged with the side story.  Hye Joo is the pretty new girl from Seoul and she gets involved with the town's pariah, the handsome, ex gangster, handyman who actually has a big heart.  Everyone would see this about him if they actually gave him a chance, but only Hye Joo is brave enough to interact with him.  Hye Joo's backstory unfolds in turn with the growing discontent with the government. - u/pvtshame

Misaeng - One of the most honest portrayals of the struggles young South Koreans have in trying to acquire a job out of school.  Jang Geu Rae especially has to prove himself since he is not a college grad.  Your heartstrings are pulled as he gets trampled on over and over, but still rises from those situations. - u/pvtshame

Starring - Im Shi Wan from ZE:A

Strangers From Hell - Im Si Wan plays this kid who moves from the country to Seoul after his military service. His college friend gets him an internship at his company and he moves into this crappy but affordable goshiwon. The people who live in that building are weird, particularly Lee Dong Wook the creepy-eyed dentist, and Im Si Wan does an exceptional job portraying his fear, anxiety, and anger as he deals with so many frustrating people. - u/pvtshame

My Father is Strange - One of the best family dramas ever.  Lee Joon plays an actor with daddy issues.  Kim Yeong Cheol plays the kind, but slightly mysterious, patriarch of a very happy, but middle class family.  Things get stirred when these two worlds interact.  It has one of my favorite female characters ever, one of the daughters, Hye Young, played by Lee Yoo Ri.  She's a sassy, smart, and smartly dressed lawyer, who is so clever has she has to interact with her boyfriend's annoying mother. - u/pvtshame

It's Okay, That's Love - Jang Jae Yeol is a famous author, Ji Hae Soo is a psychiatrist who lives in a house with another psychiatrist and one of their patients.  D.O. plays a kid that frequently hangs out with Jang Jae Yeol.  Stuff happens and Jang Jae Yeol ends up moving into that house.  I feel like it's one of the rare dramas that treats mental health delicately and it's really beautiful watching them all deal with their own issues. IU plays the character of Lee Ji-An who is a broken soul with betrayals and a big scar from her past. She is now a heartbroken person who likes to do evil for the satisfaction. Lee Sun-Kyun plays Park Dong-Hoon who is yet another broken soul suffering but he satisfies his heart and finds peace by doing good. Two opposites work together in the same office, meet and get involved with each other and end up changing each other's lives. Absolutely loved IU's performance and it seemed as though she was just perfect for the role. She portrayed the emotions of a broken soul perfectly and her performance will definitely make you want to cry your heart out. There's hope throughout the drama and it's one hell of a masterpiece. - u/Fatooz

Starring - Girl's Days' Lee Hyeri

Hyeri plays the character of Lee Dam, a history student who is fascinated by historical monuments, etc. Jang Ki-Yong is a 999-year-old gumiho who wants to turn into a human. Turn of events lead to both the main leads meeting each other and ending up in a contract live-in situation. It's a cute rom-com that maintains a good balance between mature and cute. I absolutely loved and adored the relationship between Kang Han-Na and Jang Ki-Yong, their love-hate friendship was lovely. I also was super invested in the relationship between the second leads, they were cute! Overall it's a less cringe-y and matured rom-com and entertaining for the most part. - u/Fatooz

Starring - BTOB's Yook Sung Jae

Sung-Jae plays the character of a person who as soon as touches someone they start talking about their life problems and grudges. Hwang Jung-Eum plays the role of Weol-Ju who has a grudge in her heart and carries resentment and hate, she is given a task to resolve 100,000 grudges of other people in a month's time. She and the ML who has come to help her take help of Sung-Jae and collectively look for people to resolve their issues. I loved the dynamics between the three main characters and their bonding was amazing. The acting was also really nice and I highly recommend this for all the Sung-Jae lovers.  - u/Fatooz

Starring - ZE:A’s Im Si-Wan and Girls’ Generation’s Choi Soo-Young. 

Si-Wan plays the role of Ki Seon-Gyeom, a shy and introverted athlete who is unaware of the social life because of how he was brought up. Soo-Young plays the role of Seo Dan-Ah, a chaebol who wants to take over her father's company but it's a challenge considering she is a girl. I loved the relationship between Seon-Gyeom and Mi-Joo (Shin Se-Kyung), they were two opposites that get attracted to each other despite their completely opposite personalities. It was amazing to watch their relationship and character growth through each other. Dan-Ah and Young-Hwa (Kang Tae-Oh) have sort of a noona relationship since Dan-Ah is older to Young-Hwa. Their relationship was also pretty different from the usual norm. The cinematography and soundtrack was a bonus. This drama will surely make you fall in love with Im Si-Wan, he was the cutest!  - u/Fatooz

Starring - Red Velvet’s Joy. 

Joy plays the character of Eun Tae-Hee, an architect student who currently doesn't want to get in a relationship and only focus on her studies and career. Woo Do-Hwan, Moon Ga-Young and Kim Min-Jae play characters of spoiled rich chaebols who play with those people's lives who have in anyway hurt or messed with them. Turn of events lead them to take revenge on another character by playing with Tae-Hee's life. Shi-Hyun (Woo Do-Hwan) gets involved in a relationship with Tae-Hee and they fall in love. However all along Shi-Hyun fears what if Tae-Hee finds out about the big game they played with her. Loved the acting of Ga-Young and Do-Hwan. I know people are skeptical about Joy's acting but I felt she grew a lot as an actor and I actually got quite emotional in her crying scenes. Loved the chemistry between all the actors and unpopular opinion but Joy and Woo Do-Hwan's cute relationship and moments were my happy pill throughout the drama. - u/Fatooz

Starring - Cross Gene’s Shin Won-Ho in a supporting role and Got7’s Jin-Young as teenage ML. 

This is a fantasy rom-com where Jun Ji-Hyun is a mermaid who first time comes on land and falls in love with this conman played by Lee Min-Ho and instantly decides to make him the love of her life. Loved the romance and chemistry and comic timing between both the main actors. Shin Won-Ho is part of the conman team and is a hacker, his quiet and cute character makes him adorable and lovable for the audience. Loved the dynamics between the three guys and the conman heists were so funny! Jin-Young plays the teenage ML and his portrayal of the complex teenage emotions were great. In that little screen time he will make you fall in love with him. Highly recommend this for the cast, story and chemistry.  - u/Fatooz

A high school rom-com and a remake of the Chinese Drama about this girl who has a crush on her childhood buddy and has bluntly confessed of her feelings to the ML a number of times. It’s short and handles many things nicely, pretty much all characters are lovely and it’s a warm wholesome drama.  - u/Fatooz

Starring - Shinee’s Onew in a supporting role. 

An action rom-com with the ML being a South Korean soldier and the FL being a doctor. A chance encounter leads them to get attracted to each other however their professions act as barriers between them and they break up. Turn of events lead them to meeting again in a different country and they slowly slowly learn to respect each other’s professions while accepting the risks that come along. Loved the chemistry between the two leads and the second couple was amazing as well! Pretty much all characters were lovely and I enjoyed it, it’s one of my all-time favs!  - u/Fatooz

Jang Man-Wol is a desperate soul filled with resentment and hate and is ready to take revenge on the one who betrayed her but is tied down by a deity in a mysterious establishment called Hotel Del Luna. Man-Wol can find peace only when she gets rid of her resentment and let go off her hatred. A fantasy romance drama with slice-of-life aspects, one of Hong Sister’s well-known works. IU as Jang Man-Wol was outstanding and portrayed the complex emotions very nicely. It’s worth the watch for the acting and the cinematography and costumes. - u/Fatooz

A historical rom-com with minimal palace politics and cute humor. I enjoyed watching all the characters and the bromance was spot on. The chemistry between KYJ and PBG was amazing and the dynamics between pretty much all characters was enjoyable. If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted historical drama with little politics then this one’s for you. - u/Fatooz

Wok of Love - A star chef and a rich heiress have their lives turned upside-down and end up in the company of a loan shark to open a restaurant and work their way back up. This drama is feel-good and fluffy, with friendships, bromances, and a liberal amount of skinship. It also showcased amazingly delicious food, and Junho had a wonderful range of emotions that made me fall even more deeply in love with him!  - u/craftsycandymonster

Confession - A man who believes his father was framed for murder becomes a defense lawyer while re-investigating his father's case on the side. There was an interesting plot with multiple threads weaved together, the protagonists had excellent relationships and communication, and Junho's acting was gripping and expressive!  - u/craftsycandymonster

Vincenzo - A Mafia consigliere teams up with a sharp lawyer to strike back against a corrupt corporation, fighting fire with fire to give the antagonists a taste of their own medicine. Taecyeon plays an important supporting role here with talented acting, and the drama has a mix of campy humor and dark crime that was fun and exciting. - u/craftsycandymonster

Mr. Queen - 30-something year old modern man falls into coma, wakes up in the body of Joseon-era Queen. Amazing ensemble, a couple of adult romance along comedy. Youngjae was only a side character but he played some of the best comic scenes. - u/insertfakenames

Starring: Yoon Eunhye (Baby VOX)

Princess Hours: Yoon Eunhye is one of the best idol-turned-actress there is and honestly I want to recommend a few more of her acting works but my personal favorite is 2006's Goong or Princess Hours. Based on a manga of the same name, Eunhye plays the character of Shin Chae-kyung, an average-looking commoner betrothed to the fictional Crown Prince of Korea played by actor Joo Ji-hoon (fun fact he also played the Crown Prince in Netflix's Kingdom). She embodied Shin Chae-kyung so damn well that I couldn't imagine a better cast. - u/insertfakenames

Dali and the Cocky Prince - A quirky love story between a rich, uncultured, but pragmatic owner of a restaurant chain and a quietly intelligent, sophisticated, and (suddenly) poor art gallery owner. Dali and Moo-hak are complete opposites in every way and should be oil and water, but when they’re together, you can see why the relationship works. - u/TVAddict4

She Would Never Know - A co-workers to lovers story, Rowoon is excellent as the junior coworker who falls HARD for his sunbae. The romance is a bit of a slow burn, but when it heats up, it’s worth the wait. - u/TVAddict4

Starring: U-Kiss’s Jun, T-Ara’s Jiyeon, & ATEEZ’s Yunho

Imitation -The ultimate idol showcase, this show is about…well, idols lol. The drama highlights three K-pop groups, 2 male and 1 female, at varying stages of their careers. Almost all of the lead roles are played by current or former idols, and you can definitely tell, especially when you see how they nail that choreography. The weak link in this is the FL, who is neither a former idol nor a talented dancer (even though she is supposed to be)…and it shows. But other than that, the drama has an interesting premise, catchy songs, and a plot that’s surprisingly not just “let’s throw a bunch of songs together and call it a show.” - u/TVAddict4
