❤️ {Favourite} Actors/Actresses to watch
I'll take an interest in a show if it features any of these actors. And yes, there are more than a few ulzzangs in this list :)
If this actor was the lead in a drama that I wanted to watch. If I've put TBD under Best Role, it's probably because I feel I haven't seen enough of their work to make a fair judgement.

Doh Kyung Soo
South Korean
First Seen: Hello Monster. His role was short but it made such an impact on me. It grew my love of EXO and puts D.O. at this top of this list.
Best Role (in my opinion): Apart from Hello Monster, which was a gem, you can't look past the movie My Annoying Brother.
-
Kim Woo Bin
South Korean
First Seen: The Heirs
Best Role (in my opinion): Uncontrollably Fond. He played the unashamedly charming Idol so convincingly, and at the same time broke our hearts every time he fell sick.
-
Jung Hae In
South Korean
First Seen: Reply 1988
Best Role (in my opinion): Something In The Rain. Who didn't fall in love with Jung Hae In in this role? He was confidently charming and yet adorably shy. And every time he was angry or jealous, his eyes said everything.
-
Jo Jung Suk
South Korean
First Seen: King2Hearts stole my heart
Best Role (in my opinion): Jealousy Incarnate
-
Seo Kang Joon
South Korean
First Seen: Cheese in the Trap as Baek In Ho. Even though I didn't have second lead syndrome, like a lot of other viewers, you know he still made an impression on me because I remember his character name.
Best Role (in my opinion): Are You Human, Too. He plays a robot (with truely subtle expressions) as well as the spoilt chaebol. I actually don't think he is human.
-
Ji Chang Wook
South Korean
First Seen: Healer
Best Role (in my opinion): Healer... although Empress Ki is a very close second. Both roles demonstrate his acting range, from the bumbling idiot by day, competent spy by night in Healer , to the spoilt prince you can't help but empathise with in Empress Ki.
Claims my personal award for Has Chemistry with Every Female.
-
Park Jin Young
South Korean
First Seen: as an idol from GOT7 in various reality shows like Stray Kids. The first acting role I saw him in was Legend of the Blue Sea.
Best Role (in my opinion): He is Psychometric is his first fleshed out character, although I haven't seen When My Love Blooms.
-
Jang Ki Yong
South Korean
First Seen: Go Back Couple. I didn't finish watching this show (just wasn't my cup of tea), but I still remember his scenes.
Best Role (in my opinion): TBD. I enjoyed his role in WWW:Search but admittedly haven't seen him in his other main roles so will reserve my judgement.

-
Jung So Min
South Korean
First Seen: Twenty
Best Role (in my opinion): Hmmm, it's a tossup between The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and Because This Is My First Life.
-
Lai Kuan Lin
Taiwanese
First Seen: A Little Thing Called First Love.
Best Role (in my opinion): TBD. He's only really done the one role, A Little Thing Called First Love.
Lai Guanlin got me into Wanna One (albeit too late) and from there you realise how much of a carefree innocent kid he is, always laughing and willing to give anything a try.
-
-
Kim Go Eun
South Korean
First Seen: Cheese In The Trap. I was so impressed by her acting manerisms.
Best Role (in my opinion): Goblin. Her character as a naive highschooler was so well portrayed that it made me disapprove of the romantic storyline (the highschooler was too child-like, how can it not feel like the man with hundreds of years of experience was taking advantage?)
-
Son Ye Jin
South Korean
First Seen: A Moment To Remember
Best Role (in my opinion): A Moment To Remember
Such a graceful beauty, and for most people, gets the award for Best Eye Smile (Female)
-
Yoo Seung Ho
South Korean
First Seen: I'm Not A Robot
Best Role (in my opinion): I'm Not A Robot... but there are so many other shows of his that I haven't yet seen.
-
Lee Won Keun
South Korean
First Seen: Wild Chives and Soybean Soup: 12 Years Promise
Best Role (in my opinion): Sassy Go Go. His only role with a bit of depth and to be honest, his smile did most of the work. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Gets my personal award for Best Eye Smile (Male).

Up Next: The Wolf (2020), The Last Wish (2019)
-
Jing Bo Ran
Chinese
First Seen: One Smile is Very Alluring (Movie 2016)
Best Role (in my opinion): TBD. Us and Them was really heartbreaking, but he has plenty of historical dramas I haven’t seen. -
Gong Jun
Chinese
First Seen: The Love Equations (2020)
Best Role (in my opinion): TBD. He's still has a lot to grow into in terms of acting abilities so I'm sure his best is yet to come.
Want To See Next: Begin Again (2020)
I recommend you avoid his earlier works. He gets by with his puppy eyes but definitely still growing as an actor :)
