Choi Jung Woo was a South Korean actor. He made his debut in 1975 with a role in the stage play "A Certain Actor's Life". He then worked several years for the Shinsi Theater Company before debuting as a voice actor for Dongyang Broadcasting in 1980. He then went on to appear in supporting roles for many dramas and remained active in theater.

On May 27, 2025, his agency Bless Entertainment (블레스이엔티) confirmed his death at the age of 68. He suffered from anxiety, panic disorder and depression, but the exact cause of death has not been revealed. The funeral service was held a few days later, followed by burial at Suwon Crematorium.
