After working as a junior model for the fashion magazine "Pichi Lemon", she made her debut as an actor in the drama "Gift" (Fuji TV series) in 1997. In 1999, Kato starred in the drama "Best Friend" (TV Asahi) for the first time. Around 2000, she appeared in numerous commercials such as Kanebo Cosmetics "Review" and "ALLIE", and Takeda Food Industry "C1000 Takeda". Since then, she has appeared in numerous movies and dramas.
On November 14, 2013, Kato announced that she had married a non-celebrity. They registered their marriage on November 22. On September 14, 2015, she revealed that she gave birth to her first child, a girl, in America. On June 13, 2018, she announced the birth of her second child. Edit Biography
