Son Seung Won is a South Korean former musical actor and singer. He graduated from Kaywon Arts High School and later obtained an associate's degree in Acting from Seoul Arts University.

He made his debut in 2009 with a role in the musical "Spring Awakening". He had a steady career in musicals and stage plays, and aside from a support role in the 2011 film "Glove", he focused on theater. He made his TV debut in 2014 with a role in "KBS Drama Special 2014: We All Cry Differently" and won a substantial fanbase after his appearances in the 2016 drama "Hello, My Twenties!" and the 2018 drama "Welcome to Waikiki".

However, alcoholism began derailing his career when he was arrested in December 2018 for driving under the influence and causing an accident. It was revealed that this was his third known incident, and as a result, his license was revoked. Then, in April 2019, he was sentenced to one year and half in jail for another drunk driving incident. He was released in mid-2020, but by then, he was blacklisted by all major networks, effectively ending his career.

In June 2026, he was arrested once again and taken into custody after being sentenced to one year in prison for his fifth drunk driving offense and evidence tampering attempt.
