seriously - everywhere where the main leads are not the main focus seems to be fast forwarded to the level i had to stop and 3x check if i did not forget to turn off fast speed :-O

NC would be the vibrator. The cut they made suggested it was off screen NC, i don't consider much of what we were presented NC, but ok. In my head, even done painfully, it makes sense for omegaverse.

IDK how it was written. I just know that I, as a writer, often struggle with these things because I cannot put logic value first over entertainment value. If everything was logical, it would be incredibly boring to read. At the same time, if we as humankind did things only logically, we would avoid many mistakes, but our lives would be incredibly dull and, highly probably, far more predictable than we would like them to be.
I can imagine thousands of reasons why the introduction would be postponed and pushed to where it was. I just think they did not do it smoothly enough, and that stood out to me too. It did not look natural in the material that we received. But I would say it had much more to do with how it was done rather than with the logic itself. Logic can be established before or after; not always is one preferable to the other.
I know which scene it is, and I'm not sure I now remember everything that was leading to it, so I'm going to omit the details. But I can imagine, from how you describe it right now, that the introduction would be postponed because one of the characters had to work something out in the meantime. He was figuring out whether this would be a suitable arrangement. He had other things and plans in mind, so he only introduced his bodyguard to his new husband once he had made up his mind that this was going to go like this.
Or, whereas he wanted to do the introduction at the beginning, someone called him or something happened that he had to attend to first, so he had to do it only after a certain event was sorted out.
Another reason might be that he didn't want to be so transparent with his husband right away, and he knew there were going to be some protests over this. So he first let him experience it, and only then informed him, "This is how I plan for things to work from now on."
So I can imagine instances where this could work. I just don't think it was done smoothly enough in the series itself.

also... ppl seem to be confused. I don't think it was meant to be nc scenes, ep 2 - i think it was meant to be humping and a portrayal of them being out of their mind for their conditions yet not knowing each other well enough, for an nc scene it would be too soon - too unforgivable - too much - too fast - and then what? - i would still give them time for that
All that dry humping was crazy to watch, especially on 1.25x speed. It even made me laugh, which is unfortunate,…
i don't hold it against you, but next time try the opposite. instead of adjusting the speed to yourself, adjust yourself to the speed. many things will get better afterwards
