as a victim why would i travel to another country for a court case that is irrelevant to me.I would want to heal…
Even if you are a victim sometimes its not worth your while to assert your claims because its costly, its emotionally draining, and justice is not always served. Ask rape victims where in the UK there is less that a 2% conviction rate.
Anyway as per your argument elsewhere the courts interpretation and the law is not always fair or reaches a just decision. Its not about being a coward, but about being efficient.

Having said all that I don't have a clue what the truth is, or the law in Korea, I also don't have a vested interest in hating this actor or arguing that he is guilty. I was incorrect in my assumptions and comments about this case and about the actor. I'm not arguing he is innocent but I am admitting that I was wrong to make any arguments here.

I hate bullies and hope they get what they deserve. If its the "victim" or "actor" then I hope they are punished

I mean nice theory on that but if it was consent driven it would have been better ✋🏻
lol - that is a mean spirited attack regards my knowledge and understanding. I find it hard to explain simple things to people who have limited intelligence on a particular subject as you demonstrated in your response.

I did philosophy at university but I even used AI in my work (despite having a Masters in my field). I wish I could also explain the concept of making assumptions to you

I dont have anything else to add.

You havent understood Aristotle and I cant explain it for you. But you are entitled to your subjective interpretation as am I.

Might i remind you that these are just works of fiction and fantasy. If you dont have a strong moral compass or a firm grasp on reality you too emotional about the morality of the characters and take it personally. DDS in not real life - its a work of fiction. In real life the police would be involved.

The ending of DDS was not a happy ending but there was beauty. We are all entitled to our interpretations and opinions about how we see things and they are not objective. We can all find different things beautiful. Im baffed that people dont understand this.

At least you know what you dont like. GMMtv produces bl /yaoi series that are more fluffy and that may be suitable for your taste. You dont have to enjoy or approve or watch more adult themed or toxic series.

sometimes i think there is beauty in tragedy. (not saying i enjoy tragedy or there is beauty in all tragedy)

(from AI to try to explain)
Aristotle viewed tragedy not merely as a depiction of suffering but as a truthful portrayal of the human condition, where beauty arises from the honest representation of life’s struggles. He argued that the beauty of a tragic work mirrors the beauty of a living being—flawed, complex, and ultimately meaningful through its form and structure.

DDS is all about noncon - a man is being violated and forced to accept life. Its not about intimacy. Do you think that I argued that noncon and rape is acceptable because you felt you had to explain that consent matters in moments of intimacy?

I dont think I even said that its pleasant to watch murder, violence, rape, noncon, or a sad tragic series but sometimes its part of the plot in a work of fiction. I watch series to entertain or experience something or to find meaning I dont watch FICTION FOR LESSONS IN MORALITY. You shouldn't either.

I never said that you condone murder.
There was murder in MANNER OF DEATH . Did you make any comments saying that those series would have been better if there wasnt a murder? Did you explain to people that THE GLORY would have been better if there was no bullying in the plot. That is my point. You didnt. But you made a comment about noncon. Their is a bias on your part in deciding to make a comment about noncon but not murder or bullying .

Why does consent matter in fiction?
We see murder, violence, mafia and we accept that without preaching morals and telling people that there shouldn't have been consent before the violence or murder?

What is worse is that he physically bullied other kids (and autistic child as well) at school and made no apology…
so if a baby hits you then you should beat it up?
You are a sick human being with no accountability.
There is a difference in strength level between a woman and man and a child. And if you are the more power you have more acocuntablity. If hope you experience what Rhianna did

And chris Brown he has beat up numerous woman - and you are still defending that scum? You are sick.

There is alot of greenflag series too though.
you are welcome to watch GMM tv for fluff. But others also like more adult bls that are toxic and have complicated characters.
There is more fluff being produced than more mature type bls.
Also, Im not saying this is a mature bl or a toxic one either as I havent watched all of it.

you really don't understand what a defamation/libel case is and that's fine because we can't all know everything.many…
thanks for explaining. I dont know him (but hate bullies) and based my opinion on the article. And I dont know anything about Korean law or the actual facts of the case.
If he is innocent i hope he gets justice.

Its crazy that a reputation can be so easily ruined by false statements. And the onus is on you to prove they are false instead of the person accusing you to prove they are true.

Respectfullyyyy.... I think its you who doesnt understand and is lacking many things. Nowhere does it state that…
i dont have a preference about this case or the actor - i dont know him.
I dislike bullies and find it strange that fans dont care about facts - and overlook existing evidence and balance of probabilities and blindly believe what they want to.

There are four people who have made allegations. Said actor could not disprove that the allegations made. To be fair I would be interested in knowing what facts the four alleged victims put forward and why he cant prove he was innocent or that they lied.

But this was not a win for him. It does not mean he is guilty or innocent. And even a court finds someone guilty/not guilty - well that just means that one party has better evidence. Justice and courts do not care for the truth.

i based my opinion on the article only and i dont know all the facts to conclude anything other then what was written. I withdraw any opinions I have about his guilt or innocence and will be neutral. If he is innocent - i hope he gets justice.

I have started reading manhwa/manhua series now as they are not afraid of being twisted and dark and toxic. And usually their is a psychological perspective as well which adds depth.

There is strong evidence that he is a bully otherwise he would not have lost this case.
Do people here not understand this ruling - are they lacking in logic and common sense?

He lost. He is not exonerated
There is strong evidence that he is a bully,
