lmao that conversation/scene when Ohm made the teacher's wallet disappear instead of the apple! I laugh whenever…
This is a suuuuuuuuper late reply, but in terms of changing the opening music for ep 4, I think it was just a small little special detail since that was Claire’s episode. She took charge and “changed” the theme music, so to speak, because she’s the princess of her own kingdom. Kind of like how Christmas episodes (in the west at least) will sometimes use a more Christmas-y theme song for Christmas episodes. Hopefully that make sense!
If you're watching this serie on another channel that is not the official one, please stop, do it on the official…
Oh nooo have the producers said anything about cancelling?? That’d be terrible! Now I want to go back and re-watch everything again and again. I wish the producers would copyright strike those other channels.
Yeah...I certainly understand why they did what they did for eps 9 and 10 (even more so now that I know they paid…
Again, agree very much and appreciate your thoughts! I’ll only add that I think another contribution to the problem is that as long as a majority of viewers accept something without critique (or glossing over something that should be critiqued/making excuses for it simply because it’s BL and we don’t get a lot so we should be grateful for what we get*), there’s no motivation for the directors and screenwriters to improve. They’ll keep putting out the same stuff because they know people will eat it up without question. We have to critique and call out disappointments so that the shows can (hopefully!) improve. It’s good to see viewers doing that, though, and hope it’s happening elsewhere than just here.
*NOT saying this specifically applies to WRU, because I see it with many series (and actually with other things as well, like the Sims haha), just in general.
Same. I'm dropping this one after how bad Tossarra was. On top of that I'm a novel reader, and I hate Vee's character…
Ughh yeah I haven't read the book (only what others have summarized) but with how Gun's creepiness and quite frankly toxicity was portrayed as romantic in TOSSARA, I can already see how this one's going to go. Really interested in the third one too (that one was always my favorite story-line) so I'm hoping that it doesn't let me down!
I don’t know why it took me so long to watch the OST MV but I finally did and omg it’s so good. But of course it’s good! I’m not even surprised. GMM—what is this brilliant sorcery you have that allowed you to create this gem that is 2gether!! I could totally see Bright and Win doing more series together even just as bromance because their chemistry is so good.
Gosh Folk looks so much like Gun and Chimon to me that it throws me off every time hahaThe bookstore scene...ughhh…
Ok, I think I’ve figured it out. It’s definitely the acting and lack of chemistry between the leads that’s killing the romance for me. I’m watching My Engineer right now and it’s basically the same situation between the leads there, but the difference is in the better chemistry, portrayal of emotions, and less stalker/manipulative tendencies between the mains, and maybe overall tone, writing, and direction as well. Sorry to bring in another drama, but the comparison struck me and it seemed apt.
I love how Duen is taking his flower duty so seriously haha. And I loved how Bohn was looking (read: gazing lovingly) at him in the flower shop and becomes such a lovestruck puppy when picking a color. He’s so whipped. And their interactions in part 4 (starting with the apron) are really setting my expectations high for the inevitable kiss scene!
Really enjoyed the rest of the episode (big improvement from last week for me), especially getting introduced more to the side couples, both of which look so cute. And the humor and silliness continues to make me laugh.

The bookstore scene...ughhh I don’t know man. If I was Bar, I’d just straight up and leave, deuces to Gun and Mark who are just having a pissing contest and just want to claim their “property” with no regard to what the object of their affection wants. He looked so over it anyway, and too robotic (I still don’t believe him when he says he likes Gun. He shows more positivity and affection towards his friends than his supposed lover. Like, he’s smiling while taking to his friends and immediately frowns and turns sour when Gun starts texting him. Yeah, true love right there. I need something more than the all-of-a-sudden, out-of-the-blue complete 180 flash that came too late—where was that before??).
Also not a fan of this mentality from Bar’s friends (and maybe Gun) that Gun is entitled to date Bar because he bought him so much stuff, ESPECIALLY when Bar did not ask for any of those things.
I’m sorry to be so negative. I know some are really enjoying this show and that’s great!! I’m not trying to take away your enjoyment of it. But for me it just highlights too many toxic things and lacks the.....something, I don’t know, finesse? Strong writing? Charismatic leads who have actual chemistry together? Some inclination of desire and interest other than mere recitation of script coming from the one being pursued?....to pull it off. We’ve definitely seen similar, questionable things on other BLs, but I feel like it’s really put to an extreme and magnified here and is not sending the right message.

Very good points. I like your way of looking at it!
I also do wonder how episodes 9 and 10 would have been received had the director and whoever else just said up front what the situation was. It may have softened the blow. Maybe they thought it would be more well-received so they didn’t think it was necessary. I do find it interesting and think it maybe says something about the direction of the series, though, that there was so much pre-filmed footage of FighTor that they could make two full episodes out of it, and the same can’t be said for SaiZon. Who knows, though. There could be many reasons for that, especially since filming wasn’t complete, but this is just me thinking out loud.
Before saying anything else, I'll just say that I dropped this series twice before coming back to it... because…
Yeah...I certainly understand why they did what they did for eps 9 and 10 (even more so now that I know they paid for the TV spots already and would lose money by not putting up something), but it still doesn’t change the first 8 episodes and the directing, scriptwriting, and other production choices, which I think is perfectly fair to comment on and critique. (Controversial argument warning: I also think it’s fair to comment and critique episodes 9 and 10 as well. After all, it was production’s decision to begin airing before they finished filming, so it’s fair game for commentary, but that they ran into such a huge, course-altering pandemic can definitely be considered as a mitigating factor as well!).
Anyhoo, just a long-winded way of saying I feel ya and I too think it would be nice if they could take a break and then come back with something that ties up everything nicely.
Basically the same thing, just slight additional info I think. One other thing to point out is that they already paid for the air time, so they couldn’t do a hiatus or something similar, hence the mashup of footage.

New eps come out on Saturday ^-^
