I'm very lenient when it comes to watching/judging lakorns. This is one of the worst I've seen. Besides the subject matter, the acting is not very good. Perhaps my opinion is influenced by the actions of the ML. His character is so bland & uninteresting that I have a hard time figuring out what the 2 fighting females found so attractive about him. I recommend watching it during naptime.
As far as the leads go, the chemistry was great & acting was spot on. But I don't consider it a happy ending - FL forgave the jerk & lived happily ever after? After all he & his mother had done to her? I mean his mother tried to make her miscarry, he always took his mother's side...and now that he's alone he wants his son & her back? Initially, she wanted to forget him (who wouldn't), but her family pushed them back together. Of all the lakorns I've watched, this one was ridiculous. Hate I wasted my time.
Did she get back together with her ex player husband ? I mean is it a happy satisfactory ending ? Thank u
Did his feelings for her change...well, really only after everyone else dumped him or used him. Then he was left alone, so I don't trust his change of feelings. His grandfather, though...loved him to death.

It's kind of left open, but it's obvious they will. I would never take him back - let him suffer - lol. I'm vindictive when it comes to cheating and man, he's the worst I've seen.
I watched it, actually forced myself through it. Would I recommend it? Only if you're bored & can't find anything else to watch. It took 14 episodes for the ML to use his brain and even though the FL was likable, she was rather dim-witted when it came to the ML. Thank goodness I finished it, only because I wanted to see if it got any better. It could have been a great drama, if it had been tweaked here & there. 6 out of 10 for me.
I really enjoyed this lakorn. Even though I couldn't stand the ML - and I mean I found him utterly despicable w/absolutely no redeeming qualities - I watched every episode. The FL was not a doormat - loved how she went from being silent to speaking her mind. Glad she didn't end up w/Non & his horrible family. They would've made her life h*ll!
ML had a possessive mother & a suicidal girlfriend. Can't really sympathize w/the ML because he's so indecisive. I watched all 5 episodes & was left w/the thought- What did I just watch? A serious waste of my time.
TBH, this was one of my fav dramas...in the beginning. I'm not sure where it all went downhill, but - It could be because of the wait between episodes. All the dramas I was enjoying were 2 episodes a week but sometimes you'd get only 1 or none at all. Consequently, other than Penthouse, they've all lost momentum to me.
I've watched some really bad dramas over the years and a lot of "just so-so" ones. Sometimes I luck upon one that so overwhelms me that I have to quit watching just to pull myself together. I expected so much more from this one because of the cast. I don't blame the cast at all but the script, the directing, etc. Like the old saying goes: "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear."
ML is not human. He is some mutant freek who has been trained by the king to be his devoted servant and instrument…
Wonderful explanation! I'm re-watching the last few episodes again & this time around I can definitely appreciate it more. The M&FLs fit these roles perfectly. Darren Wang is absolutely marvelous in this role - no one else could have carried it off.
Goddess of Revenge, Kairos, Penthouse, Cheat on Me if You Can -all currently airing Korean dramas & I'm hooked on each & every one. Even if I have to wait days to get the next episode. I'm still hooked. Highly recommend them.
Finished w/out subs. I will say this...Darren Wang. I already liked Li Qin from R to H, but Darren Wang. He's not a pretty boy but...I won't spoil the drama except...in the last episode - when he was running to the FL. Every little thing, from riding horseback to jumping up the castle walls - my heart. His facial expressions were so on point...
Bad girl from Love to the End & good guy from Sweet Enemy - that is enough to get me started on it. Add to that, the original Phoenix was great, though I would threaten to drop it after every episode.
Sorry, I had to get up off the floor.
