Despite the negative comments, I enjoyed the drama. The FL is so composed but honest & true. The ML - well, let's just say he's not anything to write home about. It's not a blockbuster by any means, but it's quite endearing.
I tried to stick w/it because of all the hype about the chemistry 'tween the leads. It had its cute moments, but I didn't see anything to write home about. Frankly, I was เบื่อ (bored) through the majority of it.
I wonder if I will ever be able to watch Masu Junyang in another role w/out being prejudiced against him. He did a marvelous job w/the character "Joe" & even his looks fit the role perfectly. I'm sure this comment will offend many of his fans & for that I apologize. Still, I don't think I'll ever be able to separate him from this role (as I can't w/the ML in Talay Prae). lol As far as the FL goes, I know her character is suppose to be serene, calm & mature, but to me her interaction with Tor seems forced. Watching Tor & Dr. Dee was rather boring.
It worked for me just now. Make sure you allow the page to finish loading (which may take awhile). Click the episode you want & waaw tv should load. You'll have to click several times for the utube ad to finally play. After watching a few seconds of that, click skip & then you're set to go.
I watched this lakorn years ago, many years ago. I find it really hard to keep up w/what I've watched & the titles that I have no intention of re-watching. I think I remember liking this lakorn when I first watched it. Anyway, I re-watched & enjoyed it, believe it or not. It is such a mild lakorn in comparison to what I've been watching (Talay Prae) that I would recommend it. There are no emotional highs or lows, so your health is safe & you might just like it.
Not sure what took me so long to watch this, but I didn't skip one second of it. Everything about it was charming - no other word for it. Highly recommend it to those like me that need to get away from all the angst. Don't get me wrong, I love angst/melodramas/slap-kiss,, but every once in a while I need something to - for a better way to put it - cleanse my soul.
This drama has kind of been low-key & hard to find 'cept Ch8 YT channel. I don't speak Thai, but I watched every minute of it. I really enjoyed it. When the FL fell from the cliff, it was an accident & we see in the last episode that the guy really loved her. After her death, the guy changed & became down-right evil. Still, in the end I felt rather sorry for him.
Women empowerment! Great series that shows how women can rise above their circumstances. Taught a valuable lesson about husbands who don't appreciate or show respect for their wives.
ohsweethaven... but if you're easily offended or have western centric ideology i would encourage you to stay away
Personally, I enjoyed the drama. I took it w/a grain of salt. I watch/read a lot of things that could be offensive to some people. Actually, I get offended myself, but I try to take it in context of what I'm reading or watching. If I were to take offense at every little thing I don't like or approve of, I wouldn't be able to read or watch anything.
Yet, this show is rife with Western centric colonial supremacist themes-we do not have to wonder why.
Western centric colonial supremacist theme - can you say that 10 times real fast? I can't and neither can I define that statement. So...I will ignore it.
Now I know why I always skipped this lakorn. I wish I hadn't gotten bored & decided to watch it. What can I say? If you're into violence & an irredeemable ML - watch it. There is no way in holy h-- that I would ever have had anything to do w/him. Matter of fact, I would've reported him to the police the first time he hit me.
