This “Nation’s Little Brother” got smoking HOT out of the blue... I am loving the new looks. He looks so unbelievably more mature now. Even his screen presence is no joke... Leo Wu used to be a tad too skinny. I used to say “Please, put that shirt back whenever he was shirtless in Fights Break Sphere...”
I badly badly badly want a Fights Break Sphere season 2. However, after the fiasco of Ever Night season 2; I am terrified of all potential seasons 2. Even though, I would love for Leo Wu to come back in season 2; I am still satisfied with the possible replacement, Liu Hao Ran. Nonetheless, there is still a possible scenario where the director and producer completely mess it up as was the scenario for Ever Night 2.
Ok the way u said idol actor make them look like they have no skills and only got what they have today purely…
Well, as a fervent fan of his as you have stated; I will let you be the judge when it comes to his musical achievements and scandals. For which I have no clue since these types of music and whatever detriments that comes with it are not my forte. On the other hand, we can surely debate the acting part. Who am I to say that he is a C-actor? I am one of the wide-world’s audiences who has witnessed his beginning since Noble Aspirations. His portfolio consist of about 6 items; it is barely a portfolio. What makes him a C-actor because he is not yet a B-actor. He does not yet have the chops, the experience, the aptitude or the inner talent.
Nevertheless, all these early assessments do not automatically typecast him as a C-actor for all eternity. He is young; therefore, there is plenty of rooms and years for improvement.
Although the three shows follow the same story they are based on, they are produced by different companies and…
Dude or dudette, Don’t get your panties in a bunch... My post was purely hypothetical that is why I used words like “imagine” and “would have made.” Therefore, slow your roll... you overzealous one...
And yes, one was produced by Tencent and the other one was produced by QIYI; is that a crime to imagine them both combining together? What are you the anti-Chinese cinematography union?
As for the use of the pronoun “they” I was referring to the FILM INDUSTRY as a whole and not a specific ethnic group, culture, country, gender or whatnot... No seriously, you really need to slow your roll.
Ok the way u said idol actor make them look like they have no skills and only got what they have today purely…
I do understand these days; fans like yourself only value popularity with no basics over actually hard earned talent. However, is that what his true fans really want for him? A C-averaged actor who only gets lead roles through connections?
That is an awfully sad thing to say about a favorite entertainer... And by the way, thins’t his first acting job. Are you certain that you are one of his fans?

Roy and Karry pretty much started their stardoms together both in music and in films. And it is obvious that the difference in talent is abundantly substantial. Roy might have “developed SOME feelings for the career” however, that does not automatically make him a perfect fit for that career... Currently at his level, he is only suited to play supporting casts. He needs to spend a whole lot more time on working harder if he wants to really own “a leading role.”
Fights Break Sphere season 2 has become Princess Agent season 2. They are never going to happen... They rather spend a ridiculous amount of money on The Great Ruler with an obviously unfavorable casts instead on continuing with Fights Break Sphere season 2.
Just imagine: Take this well detailed and well polished CGIs of TGR with the wonderful cast’s assembles from FBS season 1 then apply them into FBS season 2. That would have made a formidable Fights Break Sphere season 2.
Yh I agree with you, especially about the male lead. I don't mind teen dramas. There are many talented teens that…
Let me repeat myself once again: Here, we are talking about the TV ADAPTATION not and I repeat NOT the manga or the animation where everything is exaggerated on purpose. If we are going by what you are saying... Should the producer and director placate a pair of inhuman humongous eyes on Nana Ouyang’s character; just to replicate exactly the manga and the animation?

Is there a secret written rule that said the male lead of TGR has to be short and childlike? Our opinions are based solely on the tv adaptation from which we can clearly see the visual imbalances. Roy Wang’s childlike’s statue and demeanor, unless he is supposed to be a HOBBIT, most certainly does not fit the male lead role.
I can understand that your biased opinions must be based on either you are one of his fans or the manga and animation. Me, personally, I have nothing against the kid and I only lightly skimmed over the animation. However in this tv adaptation’s concept, we are only questioning his attributes.
I struggle with the missing leads thing, because sangsang does go away for a hefty number of chapters in the novel,…
Definitely Peter Jackson on top of that list. For such exaggerated, intricate and complex scope. He would have known how to unveil it in the most mind blowing manners.

I remember saying at the beginning of season 1 without knowing anything about the young male lead... How did they manage to gather, on one single set, this inexplicably larger than life group of actors of such calibers? After I found out about the famous producer then I thought... Ahhhh, it must have been due to extensive connections in the film industry.
After season 2, if I was them... I would stop any sort of friendship with AC’s father. Hahaha.

They better produce a sequel for Eagles and Youngsters with the original casts. If they don’t that would be definitely stupid and poor assessment on their part. Yes, if they wanted to use an IDOL for that project. Karry Wang would have been a way much better choice. I was pleasantly surprised by his acting skills. I remember watching him in Noble Aspirations... This kid has been discreetly learning his craft. You can definitely tell; he has been putting the work... I am very impressed by him.

Yes I believe so too. Even though I have yet completed Novoland: Eagle Flag, not because of him particularly but because I get always frustrated with the Novoland’s storylines. With a script like TGR, Liu Haoran would have definitely nailed it. For once, those tiger teeth of his would have been perfect for the role. They do make him look very candid.

- Roy Wang literally looks like a child ✅ (Check Mark) - His short height will always play against him ✅ (Check Mark) - His acting skills are still not mature enough for a leading role ✅ (Check Mark) - It is hard to take him seriously in fighting scenes and romantic scenes ✅ (Check Mark)
It’s like watching Harry Potter with an excessively less talented casts... This drama could have had a much better success if the casting team had selected a better group of actors as potential lead male, such as: Leo Wu Arthur Chen Karry Wang Liu Haoran Wayne Song
It was delivered with perfect fluidity.
