Indeed…Zhou Yi Wei’s acting skills are simply incredible. He just needs to widen his portfolio; internationally…
Hmm🤔… I can only half-agree with you. According to you and your research that I am assuming; you have done… - There are no records of him, interacting in English. - There are also no records of him, saying that he can not interact in English, neither.
Usually… I never, ever rewatch any movie, any televised drama or any televised productions (As the matter of fact) that I did not fully enjoy the first time around… Some examples of the ones that I have rewatched countless times: - Nirvana in Fire 1 - Jumong - Kingdom of the Winds - Six Flying Dragons - Healer - Taxi Driver - The General and I - Goblin - Voice 1 - Joy of Life 1 - Ever Night 1 - Signal (Kdrama) - Happiness And of course, the list goes on… *With one exceptional exception - Hwarang. I honestly and initially did not like Hwarang, the first time around. Which felt very peculiar to me because I love a good historical piece, I love a good Sageuk and I have always enjoyed both Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik’s acting skills. Therefore just to confirm my initial dislike for that Sageuk; for the first time, I rewatched something that I originally did not care for. Then to my stupefaction, I absolutely loved it the second time around. To this day, I have no idea why I utterly hated Hwarang, initially. Hmmmmmmm🤔
Among all the female characters whom Pan Qi Wen has encountered so far… My favorite one is the owner of the beauty salon, Wang Xiao Ai. (Although, her character became less smart, more reckless and a bit annoyingly more clingy… midway through the drama). My least favorite one is the dimwitted-useless wife. (Her character stayed unlikable from beginning until end).
*Did I mention how much I love Zhou Yi Wei’s acting skills…? Indeed, I have always enjoyed watching him acting. I am completely immersed in his performance in this thriller/mystery drama; even though, most of the entire plot is utterly improbable. The plastic surgery techniques and the incredibly super-fast recoveries and healings are downright out of this world😳🤨.
Since Yang Yang has been having all sorts of success with his tv dramas, recently… I really hope that “My Fireworks on Earth” will also be one of them.
Because it is confirmed that Chinese tv productions are unable to make a decent firefighting/rescuing thriller drama that is of the same caliber as (Kdrama Productions) “Jirisan” and “Forest.” The last produced ones were simply not good: - “Lan Yan Tu Ji” - “The Flaming Heart”
I concur. That actress is beyond boring. She is so gloomy, emotionless and rigid. I wish that new tech girl was Allen Ren’s female love interest… Not that old Miss “Forever Gloomy Face” whatever the hell her character’s name was again…
Alright… It is confirmed that Chinese tv productions are unable to make a decent firefighting/rescuing thriller drama. Because of Allen Ren, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. However, “Lan Yan Tu Ji” is just as bad as “The Flaming Heart.”
*I was expecting a good firefighting/rescuing thriller drama of the same caliber as (Kdrama Productions) “Jirisan” and “Forest.”What I got… It is an immature subpar romcom… Badly written… Badly directed… Badly edited…
Zhang Zhe Han! Fighting! “Once you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up.”
Personally for me, there seems to be an entire maze of subterranean rock bottoms below my initial rock bottom… You are an inspiration to all of us out there… Who are still down below. Your international friends will forever support you, no matter what.
Wow… Finally… It took them like forever for this second part. They could have been in part 5, by now. Sadly, it is not a reprise of the original cast. Hopefully, it is as good as the first part.

Where did you get the info about Zhou Yi Wei, not being proficient in English?

Not that old Miss “Forever Gloomy Face” whatever the hell her character’s name was again…
I will check it out.
I am as happy to have dropped this; as I did for “The Flaming Heart.”
Not that I cared about any of the characters… And I mean, ANY…
But still.
Dang!
I tried, tried and tried…
Until, I got seriously enough.
This is a drop.

Enough already… With the darned comedy, impulsive and immature act.
My expectations were way too high on that one🥺.
Since, it was Allen Ren…
Well, I was expecting our well-versed Allen Ren…
