I was just about to try to watch the rest of this drama and was looking for spoilers to remember where I left off when I saw this bs post.

You act like you're standing up for the platform and defending people's rights to rate shows fairly, but in reality you are part of the problem. People like you are just as bad as those supposed ones who you infer like to post misleading opinions. If people come on here to waste time doing dumb stuff like that then that's on them. It would be easy to spot those posts though because they usually have no basis for their opinions. But people like you who try to belittle others who have opinions which differ from your own are just as bad. Your response didn't address my post. It's like you didn't even read it but just went ahead attacking because the viewpoint was different from yours.

I'm truly disgusted right now. The inclination I had to go ahead and try watching the rest of this just went right out the window. I'd finally gotten in the headspace to put that aspect of the drama behind me so I could finally finish it but now the whole thing just put a bad taste in my mouth.

I had the very same issues with this drama. I made it to ep 26 eventually and just went back to try finish watching it a moment ago. Maybe I will someday. There was a lot to like about it but there started being more and more situations/occurrences that would just turn me off that I just kept stopping. It's been months now and I still haven't been able to finish.

It's frustrating though because there were aspects of the drama I liked a lot and it had been going really well for the most part (with some skipping of certain characters/storylines mixed in there)...

I'm only just seeing this ridiculous response. Absolutely ludicrous. At no point did I say he didn't have a right to be concerned about his sister. When did I ever say he should just leave her on her own to do her own thing? Yes, she's disabled. However, she is A FUNCTIONING ADULT. She has a right to make decisions about her own life and to not be LOCKED AWAY for simply wanting to be with someone. The man literally did NOTHING to present himself as being a threat. It's not like the brother couldn't try to get to know him better or to understand him. It's not like he didn't know the guy or couldn't have kept a close watch on their relationship and been there for her if there began to be signs of the relationship going bad. It's amazing to me how so many of you are defending this when you are the exact same ones who would say the parents are being controlling had it been a different drama.

You talk about me bashing the show? How? Be real. I'm bashing his ABUSIVE behavior in a specific episode. How does that translate to bashing the entire show and being some "some anti in disguise trying to harass this drama with negative & misleading opinions." Fan? Fan of WHAT? The show? An actor? Mislead who? For WHAT? I haven't even rated the show yet! LMAO!

Did I say the entire drama was crap? No. I said his actions in a specific aspect of the drama went too far. Do I have a right to that opinion - you're damn right I do.

Being disabled doesn't give him the right to take away her freedom or her rights. The fact that you choose to find this type of behavior acceptable is literally scary.

Your response is way over the top and uncalled for. For you to bring in all this other stuff and act like I bashed the entire drama based on a statement about a specific aspect of a single episode is such a damn joke. I also guarantee you know nothing about those situations you mention first hand but are quick to bring them up like you do. I literally see that type of behavior on a daily basis due to my career so wake up and grow up before you choose to come at someone with this crap.

The leads are an insanely cute and adorable couple.

All this typical forgiveness propaganda bullshit they're forever throwing into Chinese dramas and now here again is just pissing me the hell off.

First of all, the antagonists aren't nearly as a remorseful or repenting as the need to be, so that's bad enough already. The mother still wanted to believe she was in the right and that psycho chick who pressed the false charges still argued like her behavior was justifiable. They both disgusted me.

But honestly the only one who made any sense about why he chose not to cling to the resentment from the past was the ML. His reasoning was believable and understandable. The way they wrote all of the other "forgiveness" scenarios was absolute bull, which was extremely disappointing after how well so many complicated tropes had been handled previously throughout the drama. Plus the completely ignored the fact that the ML's father's life was ruined by that damn family as well.

I like that the FL didn't just give in easily though, once everything was out in the open. I also like that her father took the first step in bridging the gap between the two families.

Wow. That woman STILL had the gall to blame her son for her finally being forced to pay for her crimes. WOW.

My absolute favorite scene in this drama is the one where the FL's brother told off that annoying, stalker-like, pathetic girl and rejected her, thoroughly. Forget everything else. That right there gave me so much damn satisfaction that anything I didn't like previously went right out the window. Holy shit that was powerful. So well done!

EP 33: Okay. Seeing her STILL hesitate to leave and disobey her mother despite knowing he's been waiting so long for her in the cold (it's snowing for God's sake!) really pissed me off. It's the first time the FL has genuinely ticked me off with her bs.

My GOD I do not like that girl that's always trying to get close to the FL's brother! I'm on ep 29 now and she's honestly the only character in the drama that's really bothered me and just rubs me wrong thus far. Not even the FL's parents irk me as much as that girl does. I'm finding great satisfaction in how cold the brother continues to be towards her.

Ooooh! I said it and the very next scene was her explaining to the brother how trainers groom animals. She hit the nail on the head. She saw exactly what he was doing. I'm so glad she called him out on it.

Also, the brother...he's definitely picked up some of his mother's bad behavior. He loves his sister but he too wants to keep her in a cage just like those butterflies on his desk.

Made it to ep 11 and I'm definitely sucked in now. That mother...she is the very definition of CONDITIONAL love. I blame the father equally for allowing her to behave the way she has all along towards those kids and everyone around her. The man is a coward and weak. He pretends to be a good person but he sees everything that's happening and does nothing. She wants dolls or robots, not people for kids.

Nope. Not a single one.

I realize this is 2 years late but I'm responding in case anyone else had the same question.

I'm right there with you. Giving a happy ending to the cheaters didn't earn this any points either.

And don't take me to heart right now. I'm in a shit mood today so it may come across in my tone.

I wasn't in a bad mood when I first posted about this yesterday though. Don't get me wrong. Those were my sincere feelings and deep frustration especially because I hate that Yang Yang is working with a subpar script.

But today if I seem snippy it's not at all because of this. I'm just having a truly crap day. So I'm apologizing in advance if my tone is off and I come across offensively.

They showed the wheels turning, which is why I mentioned the hand break. That's what I mean about paying attention to details.

Survival instincts kick in when you're in near death situations. Do you really think you wouldn't automatically try to go out the passenger side if your door wouldn't open??

You just don't see this kind of sloppiness in kdramas. I man, you do every now and then but it's not the norm. With Chinese dramas one of the biggest most consistent flaws is their failure to pay attention to the details - both from their writers and from their directors.

I enjoy Chinese dramas but I'm just sick of seeing this level of sloppiness in their work. Especially when they've got high quality actors like Yang Yang taking the roles. It just frustrates me that they don't get to work with better.

"Should be" criminal doesn't mean it is though. I believe that's the first commenter's point - that he hadn't actually committed crimes (other than what was specified). Was his behavior immoral and unjust, sure.

I haven't watched it yet. I'm just reading the comments to see if I'd be interested but based on both of your comments it sounds like he doesn't actually do anything that would get him locked up.

The more I watch this scene the more disgusted I'm getting. The car is rolling forward but she doesn't think to pull the hand break? Like who tf writes this bs! The writers and directors should be ashamed of themselves for airing this crap.

EP 3 - the flooded tunnel scene...ummmm....it's not like the car has only one door. She can't open her driver's side door, okay - although I have no clue how a rear-end impact suddenly led to a damaged driver's side door but whatever - but she doesn't think to simply open the passenger side door and get out that way instead??? Seriously???

Chinese dramas piss me off with this stupid shit. Even if the writer is too lazy to pay attention to the details shouldn't the director have seen the gigantic issue and done something to address it? Had this been a kdrama netizens would have had a field day.

That right there is a big red flag for me in terms of my expectations for the rest of the drama.

I was already getting antsy. There's enough chemistry happening between the leads for it to come to a head already, but I've seen from the comments that it takes 3/4 of the drama before they finally reconcile and get back together. That tells me there's a whole lot of crap that's about to be thrown in just to drag this out, which just seems like overkill since there's already such a huge chasm for them to overcome in the first place.

So I told myself maybe my usual binge method of watching won't work for this so I should break it up a bit and watch in spurts...but then I get to this stupid flooded tunnel scene and I just.....UGH!
