Ahhh well, crap. I never did finish it. I legit forgot that I hadn't finished this one until right this second. Oops!

It's not because it was bad though! I got to episode 24 and needed to take a break only because I'd tried binge watching this all at once and it just turned out to be too much for that. So I took a break...but then forgot to go back to it! LOL! It had been going really, really well though. Like everything about it was so well done!

I want to say the finally got together in episode 20?? 19-20 ish, about then. Everything about the drama was great so far. The romance...crap, I can't remember! It was building up well but because each character had their own separate goals and motivations driving them and the story, the romance had been somewhat secondary???. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well. There were more than enough sweet moments between the leads for it to not feel like the romance was lacking, but the actual romance (sweet moments, skinship and such) had only started from around ep 20 I believe.

It's such a complex and well-rounded drama with a fantastic blend of genres/themes but it all serves it a purpose. The romance isn't just thrown in for the sake of being there to attract a certain crowd. It plays a big part in driving the story and clearly is about to become more of a focal point now that they're together and since there's a love triangle that plays a major part in the story too.

Oh, okay. It's just that they'd previously been cooped up like everyone else and doing classes online and all that. His wearing a mask didn't seem to have anything to do with his phobia but more about being conscious of the pandemic in my opinion. At least in the first half of the drama. But it wasn't just him. Even when they went to the store and stuff they were making her put on her mask.

Then it seemed like suddenly everyone was out and about like everything was back to normal and no one was wearing masks anymore or showing any concern about the pandemic whatsoever. Even the fact that everyone was out and about seemed strange since when she'd been meeting people to sell stuff and cypher energy it was because she wasn't able to feed due to heavy quarantine restrictions. Previously everyone had been wearing masks everywhere they went.

The change seemed pretty sudden to me. But maybe I missed something important. It's no biggie. Thanks for taking the time to check and respond.

LMAOOOO! Oddly enough (since I'm not a big 'second lead' gal) I have to agree! I'd actually hoped she'd picked the vlogger, but somehow didn't want her to end up with who she did either way.

I'm trying to pinpoint why. I love Bae In Hyuk as an actor so that's not it. The 2 characters (his and the FL's) seemed to get along well but maybe it's because he was too presumptuous and pushy all along? He behaved like it was a given that they'd be together from the start. That's it! He kept forcing his way in.

The quiet one started getting that way later on too once he came out and said that he liked her as well. So I started getting a little turned off by him too near the end.

Only the vlogger never behaved that way towards her. He was kind, playful, friendly, caring. He never threw himself at her. He got all fluttery when he was close to her, his crush. It was cute! He seemed to have a more natural affection, interactions and repertoire with the FL. Their interactions were cute from beginning to end. Nothing was pushy. Nothing was forced.

Plus, the way the one she did choose reacted when she told him she liked him too made it seem like at first he was about to turn her down - which would have been weird, I agree - but I found myself HOPING he would. I kept hoping something would happen that would make them getting together not be the end of the story. I'm disappointed.

It was still a lot more enjoyable and fun of a watch than I expected though. Only the ending was a minor letdown.

You made it further than I did so I haven't seen her behavior with the SML and all that but I feel you on everything else. I fact, I looked up and read some episode recaps when I was trying to get past the FL's obnoxiousness in the first episode but made the mistake of reading too many of them and saw the development of the relationship between the FL and SML begin so that made me lose interest all over again. That and the fact that I still couldn't even seeing the FL appear on screen because she turned me off that much in that 1st episode.

I'd gotten on a C-drama streak there for a while because I couldn't take the constant heaviness of kdramas after a bit but I've been having the hardest time lately finding cdramas that have been keeping my attention because I keep getting frustrated and turned off by the characters and/or bs behaviors. I've even tried going back and rewatching c-dramas I'd liked in the past but forgotten about, yet somehow I couldn't even make it through them now. I've started and dropped so many I've been getting disheartened.

J-dramas are crazy and wacky and quirky but there just aren't as many available to choose from that have drawn my interest and sometimes I just want something simple and normal. Kdramas are well written and have the best developed characters but I've been leaning towards mini/web dramas as of late. The struggle is real! LOL!

OMG thank you! I FINALLY found a comment about this! The way she approached him was absolutely obnoxious! She wants to be his friend yet not a single thing she did considered his feelings. Even when she KNEW her behavior was causing him problems she still never stopped and kept making it worse. She was flat out humiliating him in public and STILL wouldn't stop! What the hell is appealing about her behavior? I forced myself through the first episode. Then, I found some recaps somewhere and it seemed like she'd be more tolerable by the second episode but it starts with her inconsiderate behavior all over again so I had to stop. Still haven't been able to go back to this one. I literally would get angry the moment they showed her face.

Okay wait. As much as so many people have been commenting about having SLS is no one going to mention how wrong of him it was to not to make the ML aware sooner that asking the SFL to be his model could be potentially traumatic for her??

I mean, the bitch is still a bitch for being mad at the ML for not knowing something she didn't bother telling him about, trying to make him feel guilty and shit, but the SML was wrong too for not saying something sooner. He KNEW she only said she'd model to compete with the FL too. Even if he didn't go into details he could have warned the ML that there was a good reason for the SFL not wanting to do it originally.

STILL it's ALL on that bitch's shoulders since the ML DID NOT force her to agree to model. She stepped up to do it all because of the superiority complex she had with the FL. She acts like what she has is an inferiority complex but I call bs. She's a complete narcissist who feels she's superior to the FL and hates being proven wrong each time she's 'beaten' by the FL.

But anyway, my point is, that whole fainting episode is 100% on her.

I hope like hell someone tells her off thoroughly. If not, the drama's rating will drop for me.

Aaaand she proceeds to turn out to be even more of a selfish, self-absorbed bitch than expected. That's got to be a special talent - having a completely obnoxious personality.

One episode left and that SFL has yet to show a single likable or redeeming quality. What an awful 'friend'. In fact, it doesn't matter who she's interacted with, she's been a bitch the entire time thus far.

Okay so everything's out now and the ML knows so I doubt they'll bother addressing those details at all. Disappointing since they'd done a pretty decent job so far of paying attention to those little details so well up to this point.

I haven't finished this yet (clearly) but on ep 5 (in the condensed, 6-episode version) and now that the SFL is pretending to be the FL and dating the ML I'm still waiting for them to address certain details like:

- the ML posted that picture of them dating for everyone to see and now he's walking around everywhere with the SFL but calling her by the FL's name...no one finds that strange?
- the number he has the FL saved under in his phone is not the SFL's so how's he still able to seamlessly contact the SFL while thinking he's calling the FL who he's been texting and calling all along?
- I guess this just hasn't come up yet but they're preparing for that upcoming fashion show and the FL is a part of it. Now that the ML is calling the SFL by the FL's name, wouldn't it be amiss if they all went out for drinks again like last time??

I'm hoping they take the time to address these kinds of details. Even for a short drama doing so should still be reasonably feasible. Let's see what they do...

It's been so long I'd be surprised if you remember the details but was there also a time jump? As it is it seemed like he woke up the next day and the pandemic had completely ended too.

I'm currently rewatching Kiss Goblin and rewatched XX a few days ago as well and suddenly had a thought - I feel sorry for whomever is dating him (or will date him) in real life. Not because he may not treat them well or anything like that, no. But the power this man can yield with just those eyes of his. The other person doesn't stand a chance! Those looks he gives! LETHAL!

Like I could just picture being his partner and trying to argue with him about something. One look and that argument is over and done with and I'm a puddle on the gd floor. He'd win every gd time and I wouldn't even care!

I only put it together today that he's the same guy I've been gawking over in various shows over the past couple of years too.

Just watched the first episode and this is fun! I can't believe I put this one off for so long.

Whew! Made it through the first episode!

Thankfully, I searched online and found some episode recaps I could go through to see if the FL's behavior becomes more tolerable and it seems like this first episode should be the worst of it (hopefully) so I'll try picking this up from ep. 2 tomorrow.

Correction. I've watched more of the first episode and she's not just annoying. She's selfish. Her behavior towards the ML and her approach and methods for getting close to him are 100% selfish. Not once has she considered his feelings with her behavior. Not once. She knows full well that she's making him extremely uncomfortable too AND causing him all sorts of problems but even when she has an opportunity to make amends her selfish desires take over and just make the circumstances all the more worse for him.

This is just the 1st episode! I'm not even finished watching it yet. However, every time I hit play again she pisses me off even more.

The most frustrating thing about it is that everything else about the drama so far is appealing to me. So if they would just wrap up and move past this behavior from our FL I could really begin fully enjoying the drama. However, as it is, I sincerely don't know if I can continue with it.

I'm going to try to force myself to bear with her for 5 mins more and see if things get better...

Christ. The very next thing I see is her in his home smiling like she's done absolutely nothing wrong. Yeah...I'm done.

Maybe I'll give this a try some other time. I'm truly disappointed though since I genuinely could see myself enjoying this (so far) had they not continued with this selfish, annoying and obnoxious behavior from the FL.

The whole premise of this is just effing stupid! Is she in elementary school? She believes that because he has her brother's heart he'd be her brother?? Like WHAT? The real him died and your brother took over? I know that's NOT what she thinks but if her dumb ass thinks a stupid organ transplant would automatically have such an effect (she's not behaving like she's hoping that's the case but that it's a fact, mind you) did she ever stop to think what that would really mean for that person/soul?

Clearly this isn't written with adults in mind as the target demographic. I WANT to like this so bad because everything else about it feels like it could be such a cute and fun drama to watch, but it's taken me almost 2 hours to make it 3/4 way through the first episode because the FL is just irking me so damn much!

Quite frankly her behavior this entire time has been utterly selfish. Not just immature, as is obvious, but over-the-top selfish. She keeps saying she wants to befriend him but not once has she considered his feelings in any of their interactions. Not once. Using the loudspeaker to say those things so everyone could hear just makes things so much worse. I couldn't even finish listening to that shit. It sounds like a love confession. Clearly. She HAD to know her words would be misconstrued yet she chose to say them over the intercom anyway. There's literally no way that she could have thought of him or his feelings or how it would affect him when she decided to do that.

She's ruining my good mood. I'm not sure if I can continue with this...
