Do you happen to remember about how far into the drama it is before the leads become a couple? Before I get too…
Slow burn could mean they get together around midway or at the very end. We're talking about 40 episodes here. Luckily I did some digging and found out they don't become a couple until ep 32. I'm really glad I found that out early on before getting too far into this.
I'm sorry but that old, no-neck having, cartoon character-looking guy they chose to play the SML was NOT a good…
Okay I watched it. I have to agree with the previous post - this was bad. If I'd been told it was done as a high school or college freshman project I'd say it wasn't terrible and was actually a pretty decent effort but, as it is, it was bad.
I'm sorry but that old, no-neck having, cartoon character-looking guy they chose to play the SML was NOT a good decision. His look alone is annoying as hell. He seems way too old for the role as well. The extremely low budget for this drama is already difficult enough to ignore. Having to ignore how wrong he feels for the role too is just shy of asking too much from me.
I haven't started this yet but from the vast disparity in feedback I'm getting the gist that it's actually not…
Oh hell. So a bunch of hypocrisy and aversion to realistic characters with depth. Got it. I'm looking forward to this one. The only thing making me drag my feet at this point is my aversion to second leads and clearly the SML plays a big part in this one. Why or why must they always write in second leads into these dramas? UGHHH!
Before the fiance' made her appearance all of the acting was fine but she showed up and her face is like porcelain, or maybe she just had botox treatments or something. Literally not a single expression shows on her face! Seriously, not a muscle moves. She's not even that pretty either.
The father is a selfish asshole to sell off his son that way for a business deal. Like the guy hadn't already been through enough in his life already. At least he got his shit together later on though.
This mini-series surprised me. It was cute and enjoyable. More than expected. I really liked that once the back-story was solved and resolved they didn't just stop there but went back and refocused attention on our main couple and development of their relationship. That was refreshing.
Is ml a jerk? slightly but not as described by peopleIs he toxic? No,i dont know that rejecting some one when you…
I think this is the best - unbiased - breakdown/summary I've read so far after skimming through all these comments for the past 30 mins. I haven't even started watching yet but already find the comments about the ML being toxic to be absurd. I think I've only ever suffered from SLS twice ever (and I can't even remember which dramas they were) but I definitely don't see it happening here either. In fact, what's making me hesitant to watch this now IS the fact that there's a SML who clearly doesn't back down easily. That's a MAJOR turnoff for me so I'm not sure if I want to start this right away anymore.
Anyway, I really appreciate you for posting this. It helps me prepare myself and make my decision on whether or not I should start, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
My qualm is that he keeps her around knowing damn well it makes her unhappy. He doesn’t care about her feelings,…
I have a question. Can't she just say she needs space to deal with her feelings??? Like why is it on him? I haven't even watched this yet so I may be way off base here but why is he a jerk when SHE's the one who's hurt and continues to be around him. Is he forcing her to be there? I don't get it.
Wow, so much hate to the ML because he rejects the FL. So it's ok and normal for a woman to reject a man, but…
I haven't started this yet but from the vast disparity in feedback I'm getting the gist that it's actually not that the drama is bad but that the people who are so strongly against it may have been looking for more of a c-drama romcom than a k-drama romance. They also seem to be a younger, less-mature viewing audience. The comments come across as very shallow - as in the real depth behind the story and characters was completely missed.
It's so wild because literally every single one of the people I actually follow on here have positive things to say about the drama and the ML. I only just happened to notice that actually.
I have not completed this yet, Bu I know for sure that this drama is not what the comments says...it's more than…
I'm glad you posted this because your comments explain the disparity in feedback. Seems like this may have been for a more mature audience too. It almost sounds like people went into this expecting a typical C-drama romcom and not a K-drama romance. I haven't watched it yet but after reading some of the more in-depth reviews, that's the impression I got. I just finished rewatching One Spring Night. I think watching this now would make sense as I'm in the right frame of mine. Had I just finished something like When I Fly Toward You then I may feel a bit taken aback trying to watch this now. Does that make sense?
I'd actually like to see a lot of this cast in more roles. They all did a really good job. They've got the looks and skills for it too. They did a great job with this low-budget web drama so I can definitely see them doing well with more to work with. Not just the main leads but some supporting characters too.
What the HELL DID KIM OK BIN DO TO HER FACE!!! She used to have a unique face and body type, not the stereotypical…
Actually, I don't see anything wrong with you being disappointed in someone not understanding and appreciating their own natural beauty. It's a difficult thing to watch. You aren't bashing her here. Using Michael Jackson as an example made your point too as the man was good looking before he did that to himself and it was similarly disappointing watching it as it happened to him.
We just wish people could see the beauty in themselves that seems so blatant to us. Am I right? You're sad.
I don't know what she looked like before and haven't even watched this yet but I could just feel the frustration in your words. You totally want her to know, not to hurt her feelings, but because you wish for her to see herself better, without that false mirror telling her what beauty should be.
Out of the hundreds of asian dramas I've watched thus far, these are some of the best written female characters I can think of. They're all outstanding women even with all their flaws. One of the biggest pluses of this drama.

This is what sold me: https://mydramalist.com/profile/Noidz_/review/300819 Feel free to check out my review ^^
Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to check this one out.
