Whew! Made it through the first episode!

Thankfully, I searched online and found some episode recaps I could go through to see if the FL's behavior becomes more tolerable and it seems like this first episode should be the worst of it (hopefully) so I'll try picking this up from ep. 2 tomorrow.

Correction. I've watched more of the first episode and she's not just annoying. She's selfish. Her behavior towards the ML and her approach and methods for getting close to him are 100% selfish. Not once has she considered his feelings with her behavior. Not once. She knows full well that she's making him extremely uncomfortable too AND causing him all sorts of problems but even when she has an opportunity to make amends her selfish desires take over and just make the circumstances all the more worse for him.

This is just the 1st episode! I'm not even finished watching it yet. However, every time I hit play again she pisses me off even more.

The most frustrating thing about it is that everything else about the drama so far is appealing to me. So if they would just wrap up and move past this behavior from our FL I could really begin fully enjoying the drama. However, as it is, I sincerely don't know if I can continue with it.

I'm going to try to force myself to bear with her for 5 mins more and see if things get better...

Christ. The very next thing I see is her in his home smiling like she's done absolutely nothing wrong. Yeah...I'm done.

Maybe I'll give this a try some other time. I'm truly disappointed though since I genuinely could see myself enjoying this (so far) had they not continued with this selfish, annoying and obnoxious behavior from the FL.

The whole premise of this is just effing stupid! Is she in elementary school? She believes that because he has her brother's heart he'd be her brother?? Like WHAT? The real him died and your brother took over? I know that's NOT what she thinks but if her dumb ass thinks a stupid organ transplant would automatically have such an effect (she's not behaving like she's hoping that's the case but that it's a fact, mind you) did she ever stop to think what that would really mean for that person/soul?

Clearly this isn't written with adults in mind as the target demographic. I WANT to like this so bad because everything else about it feels like it could be such a cute and fun drama to watch, but it's taken me almost 2 hours to make it 3/4 way through the first episode because the FL is just irking me so damn much!

Quite frankly her behavior this entire time has been utterly selfish. Not just immature, as is obvious, but over-the-top selfish. She keeps saying she wants to befriend him but not once has she considered his feelings in any of their interactions. Not once. Using the loudspeaker to say those things so everyone could hear just makes things so much worse. I couldn't even finish listening to that shit. It sounds like a love confession. Clearly. She HAD to know her words would be misconstrued yet she chose to say them over the intercom anyway. There's literally no way that she could have thought of him or his feelings or how it would affect him when she decided to do that.

She's ruining my good mood. I'm not sure if I can continue with this...

I just started this and hadn't seen the comments about the FL being annoying before jumping into it. I'm still on the first episode and while it's cute and fun overall the FL's approach to befriending the ML is so annoying it's a complete turnoff. So much so that I'm having a difficult time with it. I'll keep watching because it's only the first episode and everything else about the drama so far has been interesting and enjoyable but man! She is grating on my nerves!

From your comment I can tell that you're referring to a lot later on in the drama but I literally just started it a few minutes ago and she is sooooooo damn annoying in this first episode that I'm having a super difficult time dealing with it. Like, the episode is cute and fun and all but her methods of befriending and becoming close to someone are so repulsive. Look at how easily and simply that female classmate approached her while she was eating for example. That's a natural way to approach and befriend someone new. Just introduce yourself, be friendly and kind. She was burdensome. Who would be receptive to someone throwing themselves at you in the way she did?

Did you end up finishing this? In the end did you enjoy it overall? Your comments pointed out several pet peeves of mine so I have the impression our tastes may be similar to some extent. Since you said you were still enjoying it despite everything you've pointed out I'm thinking about finally giving this one a chance. Were you able to finish it though?

WHY or why would she do that in the living room knowing full well she doesn't live alone! OMG!

It also shows how well the actors portrayed the character and how well the director captured it. Very well said. Hadn't even thought of this aspect of it myself.

Haven't watched it yet but I could relate to so much of what you said I had to chime in and say, well said.

Done the single parent thing myself as well - although the circumstances were different as I was married first - but now I'm even more curious to see this after reading a few of your comments. I'd like to see how relatable it is for me.

I'm really, really glad you chose to share these comments too since now I know to brace myself before going into it; that I may or may not be let down with the direction the writers took or how certain things were handled.

These comments right here are the kind I hope to find on MDL. I know I may not end up agreeing with your viewpoint after watching (although my suspicion is I just might) but I completely get where you are coming from. Also, as I hate being blindsided, this info helps me prepare myself. THANK YOU!!!

That second review on here...wow. Since they didn't hold back I won't bother to either - what an absolute ASSHOLE. A completely immature one at that.

Haven't started the drama yet but from the time they referred to a teenage mother as a "slut" - I assume she wasn't sleeping around with a bunch of guys and just spreading her legs all willy nilly as an actual slut would do - then proceeded to call them "horny" and in "lust" I'd had enough. Clearly they're a child who knows nothing about real life but is quick to judge others. Because they choose to see sex as something bad they break out the whole "slut shaming" spewl. I can't believe people still behave like this in real life. I had a flashback to old 80s movies 'attempting' to read that review [I say "attempting" because not only did they disgust me so I couldn't finish reading that crap, but also either english isn't their first language or they're illiterate].

Wow. Can anyone tell that review seriously pissed me off? Quite thoroughly.

I second this post and I haven't even watched the drama yet. The Irish are infamous for their love of alcohol, so are Russians. Let's not forget our wonderful Mexicans. I'm not a big drinker, not in the least, nor am I a supporter of heavy drinking but the judgmental attitudes are extremely hypocritical and offensive.

Furthermore I agree with your statements about maintaining professionalism in the workplace. I don't know the details of what unfolded in the drama but it sounds like the typical situation which makes people feel justified in saying workplace romances should be banned. No, they shouldn't have to be banned. Not if people could behave as mature, professionals and keep their personal lives separate. There's no reason people should even need to know there were any "extracurricular interactions" occurring between coworkers, not unless they are friends with those co-workers outside of the office.

Finished it but my mood is shit now so this wasn't a good pick for me.

Just when I think okay, it's not so bad, we get this bullshit netizen bashing crap that I hate with a passion. Bunch of judgmental mf'ers who forever act like they're entitled to a say in other people's choice of lifestyle. If a person isn't causing harm to others then who the hell are we to just they way they choose to live??? None of us are perfect. "He who is without sin should cast the first stone". Not a single one of us should be casting a goddamn thing so stfu.

I definitely can't live in such a society where even who I chose to live with is a source of contention. If you aren't paying my bills or in a relationship with me then what gives you any right to have a say in how I choose to live my life? I get that's not a worldwide concept though so I understand that there are people who think differently and feel justified in doing so. I, however, couldn't give a single shit.

Yeah, this show wasn't a good idea for me to watch. My good vibes are being ruined. I'm trying to finish this but I'm really wondering why bother. I guess I just need to see them get their happy ending somehow. This drama was a bad choice for me to watch though. Again, not because it's bad. It's just not my cup of tea.

Just finished watching a few other mini/web dramas which I really enjoyed. However, this one...I think it just isn't for me. It's definitely a personal thing though.

I found the 1st episode and most of the 2nd to be really boring.

In the 3rd episode when the ML finds out she's been lying about her identity the FL didn't even remotely behave like she'd done a single thing wrong by deceiving him. She acted like she had every right to do so. If a landlord is looking for a specific kind of tenant and you falsify your info to make yourself fit their requirements, just because you paid rend doesn't mean you aren't in the wrong. She was adamant and defiant and acted like people like him and her 'cousin' couldn't understand her desperation so they shouldn't judge. However, that still doesn't excuse her actions so I'm having trouble liking her.

I'm a person who values peace, tranquility, harmony and comfort in my home. It's my safe place. So I'd have been WAAAAAYYYYYY angrier than the ML was when I found out the truth.

Still haven't finished this yet though so I'll see if my opinion of the FL and the drama itself changes.
