Another week of me hating on TK mother. This is the hill she is willing to die on. Her son falling in love & wanting to raise a baby that isn't his. ( Yes they lie to her big fricking deal - they are adults) But now she knows to stop talk to her mother in law. Not all those years that he was being abused & ill treated, but now. Yes the mom can feel hurt & disappointed because she & her horrible in laws are so desperate to marry TK off & he found someone that she felt suited him & she grew to love.
However, I still say she should do so reflection on herself and ask why her son would have gone to such lengths to not marry SJ? Why didn't she really listen to him when he has been saying he does not want to be married & was so adamant, until she 1/2assed leaving the stepdad.
When will she as a mother start putting her son 1st instead of a husband, mother in law & stepchildren? Imagine you as a mother married so long & you & your son are not allowed to be in family portraits & TK was eventually put out of the main house to live in the guest house as a teen. Why did her son eventually buy his own home & is living apart from that toxic mansion?
I really want to see what type of justification they will give for her to have been allowing this type of abuse to continue all these years.

So if their respective families can't forgive or respect them, they can move out and live on their own. They are 2 successful and hardworking people, they don't need family money. After watching Story of Minglan The Sword and Brocade will really leave you dissatisfied... Watched this while it was airing and the weeks it really was enjoyable. So while watching this drama you really need to forget about any other drama and watch it for what it is. As the comparisons will really take away your enjoyment.
Give it a try and see if it's to your liking but do not expect Minglan's level of plot.
