Yes the mom can feel hurt & disappointed because she & her horrible in laws are so desperate to marry TK off & he found someone that she felt suited him & she grew to love.
However, I still say she should do so reflection on herself and ask why her son would have gone to such lengths to not marry SJ? Why didn't she really listen to him when he has been saying he does not want to be married & was so adamant, until she 1/2assed leaving the stepdad.
When will she as a mother start putting her son 1st instead of a husband, mother in law & stepchildren? Imagine you as a mother married so long & you & your son are not allowed to be in family portraits & TK was eventually put out of the main house to live in the guest house as a teen. Why did her son eventually buy his own home & is living apart from that toxic mansion?
I really want to see what type of justification they will give for her to have been allowing this type of abuse to continue all these years.

So if their respective families can't forgive or respect them, they can move out and live on their own. They are 2 successful and hardworking people, they don't need family money. I know family is important but not family that don't listen or support you.
Plus I don't see why they are still walking around on eggshells with the crazy ex's. Expose them to the family and the world. Chase them out of their life... Let those too cockroach get squashed.

Listen the way I can't stand kdrama endings were everyone gets a redemption arc is crazy. His mistress & him end up getting brand spanking new opportunities & money & also is keeping a their good reputation is a joke.
I know we have many women that are so completely nice like her and so the ending is kinda of realistic. But I needed her to rage out more and leave these people in the dusty.
After watching Story of Minglan The Sword and Brocade will really leave you dissatisfied... Watched this while it was airing and the weeks it really was enjoyable. So while watching this drama you really need to forget about any other drama and watch it for what it is. As the comparisons will really take away your enjoyment.
Give it a try and see if it's to your liking but do not expect Minglan's level of plot.
On of the best to have ever been made. So happy that in emy 1st watch I stayed until the end and now I come randomly to rewatch.
Haven't watched drama quite as good as Minglan.
The best part is after you have done your 1st watch you can always start your rewatch at any episode you want. Sometimes I go to episode 30 or at episodes 40 to get all the drama 😂😂😂.
If you're thinking what's the hype, just get through the slow pacing and you will be good in the 2nd half

But I will say from episode 1 up to 20 his mother is a piss poor excuse for a Mother. There should never be a time that you are living with a man, his kids, his mother and they are treating your one and only child so badly since before he is an adult & you are still married. Serving that crazy mother in law & those wicked kids. She needed to get a damn divorce or set down rules so that her only child wouldn't be getting this type of treatment. Now her son is an adult & has to continue suffering so she can stay married to a spineless cowardly man who can't control his family.
Throw the whole man & family away. She always just stands & sits allowing them to disrespect her child.

Could have been a 8.5 but it's 7 the most.
