CSS mother is really out of order and line. However I wonder why the writers decided that CSS should be suffering ALL the time because of her mother.
They missed 2 opportunity to try and mind this mother & daughter relationship & to give her some measure of peace & get a more positive outlook on like.
When the mother was sick, she looked after her really well & it was the turning point of their relationship. But no they brought in cousin again & widened the gap between them.
Now here again when the proposal they made them so get so angry with each other. I was really looking forward to them going back home; her being hungry and eating with the parents & brothers brainstorming how they could get out of the marriage. Not this big showdown.
I wonder why many Cdramas almost always have to have mothers and daughters at odds with each other. Can't we get some loving supportive mom's.
I'm re-watching ep 4 & 2nd Aunt & old Lady Cheng were really cruel.
To basically ambush a new mother with her child & force such a foolish superstitious belief on a baby was insane. Cheng Shi was the only sensible 1 among all 3 women. But Yuanyi I still could not accept her decision. Stay in the mansion with both babies and then find a way to leave when she would have rested & healed. As it's highly unlikely she could have gone to fight to save Huo; as she was weak after giving birth.
But Ge was really heartless that even after Lady Cheng passed her calamity she still made her keep that child from her parents. So after over 10 years of separation it's really the parents fault for neglecting and abandoning Naio Naio.
There is a lot of problems with how this show treats its main heroine, mainly how we should think of her as being…
I see it as the opposite. From episode 1 she has never been perfect nor a daddies girl. She is bad tempered, a little rude, sneaky, sweet & nice and funny. Plus she whole heartedly believes in an eye for an eye (which I like). As for being a daddies girl she has been living without her father since she was born it's only now that the parents have come back for a longer time that she is getting any attention from her father. She is getting love and attention that she has missed for more than 10 years. She nearly died also, because of neglect. This is what she deserves and should have had since she was born.
Since in the Drama she is a Smart Female lead she should be taking really good decisions then why did she decided…
She didn't really grow up being scheming or calculative. As for her marrying Lou Yao, she is aware that in the time that she is living in it's better for her to marry someone that genuinely likes her and that she likes and respects. Plus remember she told her mother that they plan to move away from his family when he gets an official post.
Also she can't really read, write nor is good in the 4 arts. So even though she has a good family background she isn't someone that other families would jumb to marry in. So I understand her settling because she is thinking that she might not get a better offer.
Her line of thinking is more sad than anything else. We as the audience see nothing wrong with her character, but it isn't one that many people liked for young women in that time.
I watched both and I think SCOY has interesting characters and a much more cohesive storyline. It is much better…
I randomly came across the 1st episode the 2nd week it was airing & while watching I just kept thinking "what the hell is this mess" 😂😂. But it was also entertaining, so I continued to watch the next few weeks & I'm glad I did. I even read the novel twice 😂😂😃😃. The show really had a lot of great messages. Maybe try and watch it again in a few months.

I've noticed that almost all BL even if it's good or bad has rating below 8. I really think the rating should be higher. Cutie Pie has an 8 while this has 7.7. I thought the story and messages of SCOY were better. So it should at least be 8.
Why did I have to love Red Sleeve so much that now I'm hesitant to watch Bloody Heart while it's airing. But June 21st is so long to wait to binge. I don't want a sad ending 😭😭.

I have been thinking about how much people usually hate on characters that have too much feminine characteristics, are damsels in distress, immature etc in BLs & Male female dramas. Not ever single character will always be mature, or some strong and independent person. Some people would like to be taken care of and want their partners to come & rescue them, to be damsels in distress. Some might grow out on of these traits and some might not. If their partners are okay with it let them be.

It might have been a silly picture but when it is used to make fun of Toh and KhaoJao it will be an issue. Did you notice that after the picture was posted Jao kept pull his clothes together and became withdrawn. That posting of picture and probably the comments will not to compliments. I do believe that Toh will have a less severe reaction to the picture & comments. Also many people will probably be hating on both of them because Sky and Nuea are good looking popular athletes & people love to pick apart the partners of guys like them. Even this comment section shows how people believe that Tohs friend group should have been written like the usual BL leads.
It's so interesting to see so many people saying how disappointed they are in Nuea & how he dealt with the issue.
But I'm disappointed in y'all.
From the get go we see how much Nuea loves Toh so it would be totally out of character for him to not do anything. We know Nuea is a man of action. Because he seduced the hell out of Toh before they got together.
