I didn't understand any words spoken but I enjoyed episodes 52-56.
This is now one of my absolute favourites loved each episode from 1 to 56.

Episode 34 is for sure one of my favourite episodes so far.

It just goes to show as long as your partner has your back no need to fear outside interference.

But when the family has your back nothing can stop you & your partner.

The best Royal family to date. If only so many of their kids weren't idiots.

Episode 34 was just perfect.

Every time Consort Yue is on screen I get excited.

I think I saw a clip of that stab when she said "you owe me this heart" or something along that line.

This is the 1st drama that I love the Emperor, Empress and Consort all together.

The Empress and the Consort differently have their own understanding and tolerance for each other. They definitely see each other as sister wives.

We usually see all the children only refer to the Empress as mother , but the children from both of them call them mother and infront of each other too.

The Emperor and Consort Yue are childhood sweethearts and are deeply in love but I think he also loves the Empress.

Also these 2 women have such different personalities, Empress is calm , soft spoken and peace keeper.
Consort Yue is bold, outspoken and kind too.

Yep, he treated her as a weakling sometimes which really hindered her advancement.

Oh yes, when she did that I said go girl.

The Emperor is the best matchmaker. She so cute & silly; the Empress & Consort don't able with him 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oh gosh, I feel like episode 18 is one of the saddest scenes I have seem so far this year. I want to cry and it's only 26 minutes into the episode.

I have been watching Cdramas, kdramas, Thai dramas & Turkish dramas.

But Episode 18.
I'm ready for their mortal adventure.

I wonder if Ying Yuan love for Yan Dan was as strong as Bai Jue love in ALP & so he will be her helper etc.

I know the stories are different but I really loved Bai Jue devotion to Shang Gu.
Episode 18 really showed how much he loved her. 😭😭😭😭

Jenny Zhang really acts villainous characters well . I hated her in Yanxi Palace and Ancient Love Poetry. Her acting as Wu Huan was so good. Didn't like her from the 1st episode she appeared until the end.

Re-watching for the 3rd time and I still love this drama. Fight scenes and CGI was top notch. Loved the colours of the set, costumes and ost.

Loved Cu Kai and Zhou Dong You acting also.

Yes, the drama really makes the mother daughter relationship so much more worst.
I know they want to show part 2 with the empress but damn... They really have her suffering.

I read the book. That's why I don't think it was necessary for them to let that scene play out like that.
