Does this get better with newer episodes? Because the start wasn't great tbh.

I think it would have been better in anime formatt, it started great than slowed down, issues I thought would be resolved in 2 episodes took the whole series to resolve.

Not if you have seen a dozen school teacher drama already, they reuse the same themes.

Yeah, this is what puzzles me, everyone else seems to be fine, anyway seems like being a teacher myself, I have just seem way too many teacher dramas so it feels like a very stale story.

This thought won't leave my mind, it is pretty unconvincing no matter how you see it.

I was so distracted by the miscasts in the drama to focus on the story, a teacher barely looking 1 year older than the high schoolers, a suicide victim who doesn't even slightly look fragile and has the fiercest look, a beautiful girl who would be admired usually by her comerades worshipping someone else.
It just feels like they randomly gave characters to good & popular upcoming actors.

I was bored & the storyline is messy.

Nakayama Yuma, this kid can act, first time I saw him was in Donten No Warau with Sota Fukushi, he was the only one unfamiliar to me at that time, but at the end of the film I thought he was one of the best actor in the not so great film full of young actors.
I saw ito Sairi for the first time as a child Actor in The Queen's classroom, I guess people probably didn't pay much attention to her because of the presence of Mirai Shida & Fukada Mayuko, but her husky voice & round face is still same lol.

Why such low ratings? Am confused this film was pretty good, I was expecting ratings around 8.

The storyline maybe trash but it is funny Trash, Mokomichi's comic timing is really great ?

They are both the same age, but Mamiya Shotaro's acting is so Matured compared to Yuto it is like he had 10 years more experience.

Satoh Takeru is my favorite actor so when the news came out he is going to be the male lead in Asadora I was damn happy & When the synopsis for this drama came out it said she is gonna return after divorcing her husband who is a dreamer, but I didn't imagine that the husband will so adorable, of course suzume and ritsu are adorable together but I can't help but think & Mei & Shotaro look cuter together (maybe because of less age Gap) that the separation was more painful, that Shotaro would have made a damn good Asadora male lead he was eccentric, lovable, goofy, silly, so I can't help but regret the wasted opportunity.
Can we have Shotaro as a male lead in some other Asadora please? And soon.
