2 episodes so far and I love this kind of writing, so unpredictable and kooky. And special note for Kamiki's acting, this is his style, the oddness and OTT in it adds the drama and humour, this is why this guy has been popular for 2 decades in Japanese Entertainment
Yeah, Asianwiki shows the title as You, Me & Bach. Good Call, this one is kinda unfortunate title, many people will have the wrong impression of what kind of drama it is.
You can use the filter to see the most popular by each country. I.E Most popular Japanese dramas: https://mydramalist.com/search?adv=titles&ty=68&co=1&so=popular
I know very well there is a filter, but I would like it to have sections by default, using filters sounds a bit like trouble when all you want is a quick glance at the website to see what is up. Still absurd for them to together in the first place even if there are fliters.
I would like to have the most popular drama(all time and airing) to show in sections by country, it is absurd to throw them all together. Kdrama fanbase inflate ratings, and they are more accessible so they will have more ratings, doesn't mean they are best.
Wow great list! It's so hard to find info on japanese doramas so lists like these help a lot! If only mydramalist…
I find my information on jdrama from Facebook groups/pages and Twitter pages. The 3 Twitter handles mentioned in this post are my sources as well. PS on Facebook Japanese Drama/Movies is an excellent group managed by Lalaine who also runs one of these pages on Twitter. You can find all the information you need from these pages.
I am annoyed at people saying it was predictable, just because it is from a thriller genre doesn't mean an unpredictable plot is the only thing that matters, I have rather have a plot that makes sense than a twist I didn't see coming and can't swallow because it is improbable as heck. It is being compared to Takahiro Miki's my tomorrow your yesterday, but imo it is a better movie because unlike Sota Fukushi, Kamiki can really act, Sora's acting doesn't move me at all, while Kamiki can certainly make you feel several emotions. One thing i agree with is, Kasumi and Kamiki don't have couple like chemistry, they do look like siblings, even more so because they have played sibling roles earlier.
After reading this review I was thinking Jun would have an impressive role there, umm he was barely there, he is good but barely there. Kamiki is the highlight of everything he is in, Period.
Its a slice of life, not a romance, why do some people always have to review on the basis of of the romance was nice or not, it is not the point of the story, it's something entirely else.
I actually liked Relife, I don't get why people were disappointed, I am a huge fan of the anime and I was satisfied, what is the issue apart from the ending? Which is not a big deal in my opinion, everyone justified their characters. And I loved him on Sakamichi no Apollon.
