I thought this drama became a bit disjointed the last few episodes and I really didn't care for the ending even though I love elderly people in historical dramas but alive and interacting with each other. I prefer seeing people continuing on in their lives, even if it has to be a struggle together, but death leaves no more hope for a present or future. The ending did not feel satisfactory nor inspiring. There was too much left out of the story and only the sad suggestion of everything that they missed together in their (separated) lives. So what if they died together--it does not leave me satisfied!
This was a really good drama until the last 2 or 3 episodes. It became a bit disjointed and while it was okay, I really didn't care for it. Let's just say not my favorite ending with mixed feelings. The music was really good and the actors were overall excellent! For that I rated this between 8.2 and 8.5 out of 10.
I haven't seen this drama yet but I love Joo Won, and I don't how I can drop this drama since I've…
I first saw Joo Won in "Baker King, Kim Tak Goo"--it's still one of my favorite dramas, and "Bridal Mask" was excellent (although the torture scenes were a bit too much for me). I'll watch anything with Joo Won in it. I hope "My Sassy Girl (v 2017)" is worthwhile--otherwise it would be such a waste of good talent.
This is a very good movie. It reminds me a bit of one of my all-time favorite historical war movies called "Red Cliff" (which has two parts). If I had seen this movie first it might have taken first place on my list--but it's close and it is definitely worth watching! I rated it 9 out of 10.
Excellent drama--worth watching over and over again. Another one to add to my "top favorites" list. The acting was great and the way the storyline was depicted was very unique and memorable. I liked that it was based on many true facts and I really appreciated the information given at the end of the drama for historical purposes. I'll never forget this drama and the men and women who fought/fight for the principles of good to benefit the people of their country as well as all of mankind who are trying to make this world a better place for everyone and not just greedy for themselves. Excellent drama and also loved the music! Thank you to everyone for all your hard work! Daebak!! (I rated this 10 out of 10.)
I really can't watch dramas about brothers and sisters falling in love. It's just beyond sad. One of my favorite dramas turned out that way in the end and I'm still horrified every time I think about it because I liked that drama so much in the beginning and the ending was just too over-the-top shocking ):
I noticed that there are two special episodes for this drama. Should you watch them first before starting Episode 1? Or are they just previews? Thank you.
Best drama ever. Amazing characters and actors--every one! So realistic to real life and very intriguing. Held my interest every minute. Definitely worth watching--more than once!
First of all, I liked this drama. Sure, it wasn't totally perfect and a bit unrealistic--but that is part of its appeal. The actors were good, some stood out more than others of course, partly because of their character. The settings were beautiful and the story kept me wanting more. It had the perfect villan (not too overdone and with a personal story)--and the overall theme was good. I thought it had the perfect ending with intrigue to the very end and acknowledgement of the characters. I would definitely recommend watching this. And remember that the episodes are only 30 minutes each so it's like 20 Ep overall. You should watch it--I don't think you'll stop in the middle. I rated it 8.5.
Good movie. Good actors. The only problem I had was the sound. The voices were too low and the music was at least three to five times as loud. It gets very annoying and distracting to have to turn the volume up and down all the time. Otherwise, I gave it an 8.5 rating.
I really do like the actors and I'm glad so many people are enjoying this drama, btbh (but to be honest), it is a little too draggy and slapstick for me. I appreciate the humor but it would be nice if it were a little more realistic. The topics about corporate business seem to be common but I'm just starting episode 10 and it's hard keeping an interest in this. Maybe I just need to leave it and come back to it another time when I'm in a different frame of mind. I really want to like it--so it's probably worth giving it another try later.
Anyone know what's happened to the drama sites? Kissasian is struggling to stream apparently, and I've…
Thanks for the comments on streaming sites. I'll try Drama Nice and Drama Cool, but I've tried kissasian sooo many times and I finally just gave up! There are so many junk ads that you can't help accidentally touching while you navigate the screen and it always drops in the middle of the drama. It's so frustrating.
I would look for this movie somewhere else if possible. I keep trying to watch things here but kissasian is so disusting with all it's gross advertisements and if you make the tiniest mistake (or not) and accidentally click on the wrong area, you will get even more pop ups and terrible ads, and also the web site will quit working in the middle of the film/drama! It's just not worth the trouble--believe me I've tried so many times to give them another chance! I've finally given up!
This movie is so well done--and with good music. (I rated it 9.5/10) The actors were excellent and I so appreciated being able to know more about the history of Korea and seeing pictures of real people from that era--which was not so long ago. I would love to see more films like this.
Although I really appreciate the movie, I would love to see these same actors in a much longer drama series covering more detail about the last of the Royal family of Korea. Thank you and take care.
