You should watch the original version then. It's main concept is misunderstood creepy hillbillies and there aren't…
The original version was that they looked like creepy hillbillies, but were actually really nice. Dale in that version is a big teddy bear. In the korean version, they made it so that they were supposedly "so ugly that they looked like criminals." Quite a different concept there oof.
I absolutely adore splash splash love. I've rewatched it so many times since it first came out. I can't wait to see seulgi in a lead role again. She deserves it so much!
I think it would've been way better executed without the fantasy. There were a lot of funny things that happened…
You should watch the original version then. It's main concept is misunderstood creepy hillbillies and there aren't any supernatural elements in it. The original version is actually my favorite horror comedy, I totally recommend it.
It's not as good as the original of course, but it's a really fun movie. They kept the same core concept but then added supernatural elements, some more side characters, and had the three become friends instead of a romance.
Has anyone seen the 1999 movie called Oxygen? The dynamics and intense chemistry filled interrogations are very similar. I wonder if this movie was inspired by that one. But Oxygen is a way darker movie. I'd definitely recommend it if you liked the dynamics in this one.
I didn’t feel even the slightest bit of sympathy for the terrorists in this film! Life is hard for all of us;…
It'd make more sense if she had put fake bombs on the train to get revenge on her dad and then used the real bomb to blow him up. She had no motivation to murder anyone else.
I think it fell through because they went to represent their theme of "illusion of normalcy" and made the girl…
Her motivations were kinda dumb as well. Her main issue was an abusive dad but how did that equate to her hatred of hypocrisy? How did her abusive dad cause her to want to murder 100s of people including friends, strangers, and children that don't even know what hypocrisy is. Isn't that the very definition of hypocrisy? She obviously had some mental health issues, but her motivations and end goal just didn't make sense.
I unexpectedly love this movie. The characters feels close from the first scene. They have amazing natural chemistry and I really enjoyed the unique characters. I felt really sad when it was over because I wanted to see more of their story.
I can't find this anywhere except dailymotion, but I hate that website with such passion oh my goodness. Does anyone know somewhere else to watch this?
The ML falls in love at first sight because of a heroic act. He then pursues her for a month until he watches…
They seemed to just barely tie in the moral about being confident about yourself, but like should the FL be confident with the way she acted lol. The hijinks and misunderstandings went on for too long and there were barely any consequences for them afterwards. I totally agree. The story is pretty cliche and one dimensional outside of what the ML goes through. I would much rather rewatch ugly betty lol.

The show's moral seems to be about learning to feel confident in yourself, looks don't determine who you are, and that love can abound no matter appearance, but that gets lost in translation when the FL is quite the terrible person. She accidentally leaves him with trauma in high school because he was scared of her, she accidentally plays with his feelings, then doesn't feel his emotions are valid so she doesn't think he should feel sad after witnessing death, etc, etc. The story would've been way more interesting from his pov. He had a complex character and seeing his trauma would've added a lot of depth.
The ML is great at intense roles so when he looks sad, he looks absolutely empty, pitiful, and there's such intense sadness. Compare his eye acting of intense sadness with the "trauma hijinks" of the FL and it's a terrible combo.
On a side note, I think the ML had better chemistry with Su Miao and Fang Jin than with the chengcheng. Their kindness seemed to shine through more than with the main actress.
This show is an absolute nightmare from the ML's pov. The FL's pov is a comedy, but his is a full on depressing…
The ML falls in love at first sight because of a heroic act. He then pursues her for a month until he watches her get struck by lighting, electrocuting her until she dies... He then has to deal with the trauma of watching a human being die in front of him. He feels guilt for not being able to protect her even when he thought it was dangerous to be outside. He then spends a month depressed while no one around him supports his sadness.
After a month, he starts to have feelings for a woman in the middle of a separation. He feels ashamed for his heart fluttering so shortly after his first love's death. He then spends time drinking and spiraling into alcoholism before confronting and accepting his feelings. He then realizes that the woman he loves is actually an alter (personality) of someone with DID. He has to say goodbye to another woman he loves knowing that she was never real.
Anddd that's where I dropped it. The show is about bias and prejudice, but even if someone is biased, how do you put someone through all that? Yet it never shows the ML deal with all that trauma or the FL has any sort of consequences.
Tucker and dale vs evil is on hulu and youtube.
Totally recommend if you love horror comedies!
